  • CNI college is a vocational MRI school in California. I have been getting several negative comments about CNI college for MRI. Apparently the program had alot of issues. I decided to interview a student to really see what is was like going to CNI. These are not my opinions, other students may have had a great experience. Do your own research if you decided to goto this school.

Currently an mri student at cni college on my LOA for personal reasons and a fellow student sent me this video. Everyone in my class talked about how sketchy the program was and poor quality the classes and teachers were especially the director of the program. • @MRIMan

Choosing between a radiology program and a dedicated MRI program can depend on your career goals and personal preferences. Here are some factors to consider:
Scope of practice: Radiologic technologists (RTs) are trained to operate a variety of imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, mammography, and MRI. By completing a radiology program, you will have a broader range of imaging skills and may have more job opportunities available to you. However, you may have less in-depth training in MRI specifically.
Depth of training: Dedicated MRI technologist programs focus solely on MRI and may provide more in-depth training in MRI physics, techniques, and safety. This could make you a more competitive candidate for MRI-specific jobs, but you may have less training in other imaging modalities.
Certification: Depending on the state or country in which you plan to work, you may be required to obtain certification from a professional organization, such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), in order to work as an MRI technologist. Both radiology programs and dedicated MRI programs can prepare you to sit for the certification exam, but the requirements may vary depending on the program you choose.
Ultimately, it is important to research your options and consider your career goals before making a decision. If you are primarily interested in MRI and want to focus on that area of expertise, a dedicated MRI technologist program may be the best option for you. However, if you want a broader range of imaging skills, a radiology program may be a better fit. You can also consider speaking with professionals in the field, current students or graduates of each program, and researching job postings to get a sense of the specific qualifications and requirements employers are looking for.

NPC alumni here and it is equally just as shit or worse than CNI. The teacher who taught us the important things (physics, cross-sectional, ect.) was very inexperienced as a teacher and had no personal input or tips as to how to learn the material easier. RUclips was a far better teacher than that person was. She would also go over the tests the day before we were supposed to take them and basically gave us and let write down all the answers. She would also hold us back and have us do trivial activities totally unrelated to MRI like political debating if we finished early for the day instead of making sure we all understood the material and were 100% sure of ourselves. Would not recommend NPC to anyone. From what I've seen and heard, CBD is the best school for MR. I externed with a few CBD students and they were all well educated and confident in their knowledge as opposed to me and people from my school and CNI who were still confused even nearing our externship end date. Glad to see some awareness being brought to these corrupt and greedy schools!
