    Would you recommend vinegar eels? Or are fry big enough to eat some species of daphnia after consuming the yolk?

    I am about 2.5 weeks into my first batch of angelfish fry. I have probably 150 of them, free swimming. They are starting to grow, and they are grouping in like 3 different schools. My tank has a lot of debris each day, from feeding the shrimp to them. Because my tank is on the floor, when I water change, the siphon doesn't seem to have a lot of power, and doesn't suck up the bottom debris very well. In my community tank, where the parents are, I have 2 good snails, they are large, and very mobile and really keep my community tank under control. I took 1 of the snails and put it in my 20 gallon fry tank - and hoping this may help keep the bottom a little cleaner. Any problems with this? My snails don't seem to breed, and they are very large, and fairly fast. I have no eggs anymore, so I don't see a problems, guess I'm looking for any problems I am not considering. Thanks.

    i am starting the breeding of two very colourful angelfish so hopefully the fry will take on their colourings, but I also breed Guppies mollies and platys and always segregate the fry as they eat them. is this the same with the angelfish?

    personally id avoid flake foods, in my view they are full of un needed ingredients. To make chichlids grow fast i usually use a frozen seafood mix (shrimp, mussels,squid etc) all finely chopped. Good wholesome protein is the key. Awesome vids, keep it up

    Hey sir I have problem to find out male female

  • @susankirkland5356
    @susankirkland5356 5 лет назад +1

    One other thing...my angelfish laid MORE eggs, on 2 different leaves....it hasn't even been 3 weeks since I took the first eggs out, so I guess this is going to be a "thing". So, I took the 2 leaves out and disposed them, as I can't possibly take care of 100's of more eggs, when I haven't finished with the first batch. Not only that - I have 2 geramis, and I think they are both male, they've been chasing each other every which way - and I go to change the water....and I have a BUBBLE NEST. Well, now the male guarding the nest, is taking scales off the other geramis....so, I took that nest out, as there are no females that are coming. I guess my tank is just the happening place, where everyone is in the mood. So I did a 20% water change, and hopefully some hormones will go away. Maybe I need to separate the 2 extra Randy angelfish, once these fry get to be a decent size, because this is not going to be a business for me....I just didn't want the first batch to die....looks like a losing battle all around, so I will try to raise the first batch, sell them, and then separate.

    Hey My angel pair in the community tank has laid eggs.. What should I do? Male is driven away by the female. Have red tetra and black skirt tetras in the tank.. only the female is protecting the eggs

    • @MasterAquatics
      @MasterAquatics  8 лет назад

      the eggs are going to get eaten unless you can move the eggs and the pair to their own tank

      Prabhu Rm how you get a breeding pair???

    • @prabhurm
      @prabhurm 7 лет назад

      @aniket I had about six angels, and eventually these two got aggressive and killed the rest of the angels. They lived together for sometime at one corner of the tank. But until the female laid the eggs, I had no clue which one was male as my female is large and aggressive. ..

    i cant determine whether they are male or female what can i do ??

    • @HarrisonCountyStudio
      @HarrisonCountyStudio 7 лет назад

      haris koottayi The female will have a more straight lined, slant towards the mouth. Males typically have a more “rounded” hump leading down to their mouth. It appears as angels want to pick their mate as I have had a group of 9 create 3 natural breeding pairs, but not as successful placing a known male and formal together.
