The timing on this video is great I am going to be getting my first angelfish soon! Also Congrats on 16k!!!
Same
I love Your angelfish, I ended up falling in love with puffers for their personality, when mollies snuggle against their tummies, absolutely pure
“ I don’t discriminate against the black angel fish” lol
16k subscribers 3 years ago. Almost 100k now. Well done friend.
Lol 5 years later and I'm watching this 👀 on a Friday! 😁 and you're at 103k subs as opposed to 16k 👏👏👏 I've been wanting some extra long fin koi angels to try to breed, but can't find them anywhere 😔 still looking tho 🤞thanks for the content
Appreciate you watching! Angelsplus.com is where I got my kois. Check them out.
You missed the type
-altum angelfish
-albino pearl scale angelfish
-gold pearl scale angelfish
-blacklace angelfish
-zebra angelfish
#fishkeeper
Technically, TECHNICALLY, Altums (Pterophyllum Altum) are a completely different species, along with the teardrop/dwarf or Leopard (Pterophyllum leopoldi). There are three species of freshwater angelfish. There are hundreds of variations, but there are only three species. Dantum angelfish are a ScalarexAltum hybrid, arguably the only one so far. Variation mixes are still of one species. Veiltails, laces, pearl scales, and blushes, among others, are all just linebred variants.
Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

Panda angel fish
Red head angel fish
@@Nemesis0513 so altum and silvers are different fish?
Yep.
@@Nemesis0513 do you know how big silvers get? I can't find any information on them. Everytime I look them up altums come up 😕
As someone with some knowledge on rabbit breeding, it can get complicated when it comes to phenotype. Some rabbits have beautiful pelts, others have flat boring ones. And just because you have a rabbit with a new color pelt, you have to standardise it over 7 generations before you can appeal for breed certification. Same goes for fish. Sometimes you just come across an exceptionally beautiful fish. Happens all the time with bettas.
I have 5 angelfish. 1 black, 2 black marble and 2 red devil. They are very interesting to look at for sure!
I did like you said and 'smashed the like button'. Now I have to buy a new phone. Thanks a bunch.
Your video coverage is so clear and you have a nice voice! Keep it up ! And thank you for sharing your personal experience of taking care of angel fishes
Angels are just so beautiful! Great video!
Omg I have been subscribed since the time you got your first pair and love your angel fish videos and this was a great one I hope you can show more angel fish videos in the future and good luck with all of your fish.
They’re so beautiful! 😍😍😍
No joke. My angelfish love your this video. While watching your video, I
happened to glance back and looked at both of my angle fishes and
noticed both where watching (very intensively) to my large monitor
within view of their tanks. I even laughed when I saw they went crazy
when all those fishes were eating those blood worms. I have two Gold
Marble angle fish that where given to me by a friend whose wife passed
away 2017. She had them in her Insurance office back in 2016. This
office was closed and he didn't know what to do with them.
Your at 78k now in just over a year congrats man
Nice video. I used to have about 5 koi diamond angelfish, my god they were stunning, a tiny bit of grey striping and light orange blush on node and top, the rest sparkled like diamonds.... so pretty. Very flashy.
Very sweet angelfish
the fins on the gold marble are very nice. I've never seen an Angelfish with fins so long.
Subbed.
I was actually researching how to keep these beautiful fish, and I obviously found your channel. I actually just purchased small size blue angel fish, a pair, and it is my first time keeping these beautiful fish. Can't wait to see the rest of your videos to learn more about them.
Great video.
The fist 2 angels in the video look exactly like mine , a gold angel and a silver that develops black stripes when full grown 👍🏽 beautiful .
I love the different types of Angel fish that you have. Good viedo.
I loved this video. Very enjoyable and I learned a lot. Thanks.
Master Aquatics, nice video. One more Angel you can add, it is the Bulgarian Green Angelfish.
The growth of the channel seem to have been good, 22k subs now 3 months later
luv angelfish. your angels are beautiful
They’re so beautiful thank you for sharing!
waiting for the king to return
hes gone. They want him gone.
you aer Best thank you for teaching me😊
Nice dude very chill and informational :)
Hey fish for thought
Well I'm pretty much into all freshwater fish tropical fish I love my mollies ,guppies, swordtail and many others and I love to breed them whenever, and I love the angelfish to I've had a few of them in my fish tank before a little fish aquariums I can just sit there and stare in a fish tank all day
I had a pair of Angels in my 55 back in the day one was a "marble fan-tail", with some orange along its forehead, so possibly an early koi/ The other was a "marble" but had a blue sheen all over it's body and fins like MA's blues it was also a fan-tail. I think they were both females as they never paired up and they never fought. Both were "jumbo" sized, as big as adult discus. OMG just saw that 'smokey' and it was just like my Marble blue fan-tail. Mine had more white on it not grey but same blue overlay on the fins and body.
Congratulation bro👍💐,I recently found that two of my angle fish paired
Congrats for the video bro! Really nice and beautiful fishes.
I recently got a blue one, amazing creature.
Regards from Brazil!
Awesome! Your angels are all gorgeous! Such an elegant fish..♥️
thank you.
Nice work reaching the 16k mark!
You’re awsome. Any info on angels is appreciated.
I was hoping you'd discuss a little about Altum Angels.
I loving angelfish so much, old popular aquarium fish 😍 more than discus which is booming now
Love your beautiful angels the blacks were always my fav they just look so stout ❤️
nice Angel fish!
My black angel fish lived a super long time :) watched that fish and her partner go through a lot sadly ugh I was a kid and it was my dad's old tank and he moved out and long story short my mom didn't know what she was doing with fish 🤷 my step dad once put a small chainsaw in the tank to remove a driftwood... It was an in-wall tank. For whatever reason he didn't take any of the fish out...🤦🤦 Lots of fatalities. But the angels were mostly okay! Couldn't believe it. They lived for years in there and once I got older I started taking care of them till they passed but dang they were strong. Wish I could have stepped in sooner but you know when it's your parents house and you're like 13 🤷
You did what you could when you could. Bravo. You have every reason to be proud.

Just bought my pair of koi angel fish today.
I just got my first zebra lace angelfish and I’m so excited!
I got a koi angel from a pet smart I saw him and fell in love with his personality
wow bro ur right abt the black ones are more prone to dying when i think of it the only ones ive lost to that were black angle fish
I have a koi angel with rainbows, a molly, blood red lyretails, and Cory Catfish and he seems to be fine with all of them and healthy!
Thank you Master. I enjoyed your video. Keep it up!
Got my first angel fish from petsmart, he’s a koi I believe and he lives in a 60 gallon with very few other community fish. Want him to grow with them and get used to them. So far no aggression from anyone. Don’t plan on getting anymore angel fish. He can be the show piece in the tank. Lol
Nice aquarium
I did like this video. Angels are my second favorite fish.
+Garry Mcgrath - Bettas
I’m obsessed with Gourami. Always have been alway will be lol. I also love angels. Oscars and many more
Same my favorite are gold gourami and dwarf powder blue
Rogue Video Productions Oscar fish are scary lol.. my dad bought one a few years back not knowing anything about the fish. Long story short, the Oscar ate all the fish he had in the tank.
just found your channel and love it ,,we have we love them ,,I,ll be watching all your shows keep up the good work ,,
Ahh you went through the “millionaire breeder” phase as well huh? Mine was a little different in that mine was reptiles but same idea. Thanks for the great vids!!!

Great video! New sub here i love your angelfish!!
I'm loving the koi angels
Neat i did not know thare are so many types of angel fish thare not my persinal faverit fish thare in my top 100
I love Angel Fish! I can't wait until I get some again. My last pair of angel fish were killed by my plecostomus. The angels were small to medium sized and the plecostomus was very large. I got it from my mother and put it in with my angles thinking it would eat the algae. Nope, it just made a huge mess with it's poo and barely made a dent in the algae! Lol But it did kill my angles. I went out of town for the weekend and came back and found out the hard way that the plecostomus fish is an omnivore and it ate the slime coat off of my angles. It left huge holes on the sides of my angles. I wish I could've been there to save them. I'm telling this to whoever will listen so they don't learn the hard way like I did.
You should get otocinclus, just make sure you get them in a big number like 15-20. Some will die off because they're wild caught but 10 is the best number to keep them in, they're very social and need big school.
They make no mess compared to plecos and actually will eat algea off glass, plants and wood without eating the plant.
"Plecostomus" sounds like a dinosaur.
Had to take mine back to the pet store. Went after my angel the second day.
Yup and they get way too huge
I love angelfish
Love your channel man keep it up
Good watch i have a few different kinds of angles and this was a good watch to figure out what they are
I finally got a breeding pair they laid on the glass then ate them now i have slates in there to raise myself next spawn thanks to your videos it should be easy ty
Very nice
to the koiangelfish i have one and where i got this one, it was not too expensive. lovely fish, one of my smallest ones.
thin depends on where we live. My seller, a nice lady, sells them on a set price, not by size.
my other angels, a black, a natural coloured, a blue smokey one, a marbled one so black and white, two striped ones like the natural only in blue and a golden one, looks like a sun when he swims in your few, when you try to see the other fish XD
Look great
I'm glad I stumbled upon this video as a angelfish novice of five months I've learned a lot by observing them,as angelic as they look they surprised me with how aggressive they can be with each other.
I have a question how can I tell if they are mating or fighting?
Love those platinums!
I love platinum and black lase angelfish
Amazing sir👍
Beautiful angels!!!
They’re beautiful
I have a pair of angel fish one marble one platnom and two bristle nose plecos 😜 my family and me own a lot of fish but this is my first tropical aquarium 🐠🐟🐚🐬🐋🐳🐙🐚🐌
Beautiful fish, thank you
oooh thankyou so much for this video its fantastic! ..not only helped me identify my angel fish but I was able to see their natural behaviour in an angelfish shoal,,,i only have a 33gal so I only have one as well as 2 female gourami and some sword tail platies..i bought 2 of them from my local fish store in the uk but even small one of them didn't eat and kept hidden then passed away :(...turns out I have a smoky angel fish though good to know!
Love Angels more please
I used to raise angels. All my tanks are used got a 40 breeder & 15 tall for free up & running 4 years now bought a 45 bow at a pawn shop of all places never had an issue
Great video on the varieties. Very informative
Nice vid, love Koi Angelfish
nice.. am an angel fish enthusiast as well.. I have a koi, double black, red devils, Philippine blue n unsure of my last one lol..
Great video man. Keep it up
The difference between marble and koi is that koi lies on the paraiba gene, you will not have those visible striations or little stripes in the dorsal fin. Gold marble WILL have them. A koi will have perfectly clear (except for any black splotches)
Beautiful!
Just a word of advice. Ask people to like and subscribe LATER in the video, that's when people have the opportunity to be able to tell if they like you. Dont beg, just do good content
Thank you. This video is old, and I was still learning. Appreciate you watching.
What about The Black Lace Angel Fish? Haven't heard about this Fish in a long while
I think veiltail angelfish have a weaker immune system because I've never had that variety to live past 6mths..
Hello MasterAquatics, awesome videos about Angelfish. Question, right after my angel's egg hatch (turning to wigglers) they all died. Any tips on how to take care of them?
Your angel fish are so beautiful....I've been thinking about getting some red shouldered angels for my 55g but having trouble finding a source, any suggestions?
Do you go over the species of angels in any videos? these are all like color variants, but ive been hunting for info on each species of the fish.
Nice vid! Congrats bro get a monster tank jaja
Alejandro marquez haha hey man youre here! Hows your arowana?
I have an angel fish without ventral fins i dont know this type :( its natural that it does not have ventral fins..
The one you show and mention it being a Black Angelfish, is it the same as ones that are all completely black with red eyes? I've seen ones with way more black and darker.
Nice Video and Nice Tank
What type of Angel fish do I have. It has a yellow body and black dot curvage towards the tail fins also some other little black dots?
Great video! Question: Does feeding your angels bloodworms using a capture net desensitize them to being netted or no? Would be nice to hear about whether it makes them less skittish at capture-time or, if it really doesn't seem to make a difference behavior-wise.
That's an interesting question! Can't wait to see the answer! 😊
Sorry 6:22 is just a silver angelfish? It looks like manacapuru angelfish that I'm looking for with the red back
Used to have blue blusher that were really nice
i am new at angel fish , i have my first pair of angels
