I always love watching these to learn about movies that I wouldn't have heard about otherwise. Thanks for posting, Cineflect! Very much enjoy your style. Dream Scenario looks fun (I'm always a fan of Cage's manic energy)
Saltburn is every bit the proof I needed that Emerald Fennell is a complete hack. Nothing but neutered style and a smug sense of self-importance while saying absolutely nothing. Looks pretty tho. Dream Scenario was fun. It's amazing just how much comedic value Kristoffer Borgli manages to milk out of Cage just walking into a room and then walking out, but it works! Kinda thins out in the second half, but a good time nonetheless. May December is pure camp in the best way possible. Great performances, great writing, great direction... it's great! I've seen Perfect Days twice now, and it just keeps getting better. A beautiful gem, although the whole "4 short stories" thing isn't true; it's all one narrative. Don't know where that rumour started. Monster isn't top-shelf Kore-eda, but it's pretty close. A bit convoluted, but it really comes together in the last act.
Dayum, you just burned SALTBURN ;) I always enjoy hear your takes since you've inevitably already seen so many of these. Especially excited for these Japanese dramas. As far as the "four short stories" description, I got it from here: www.dw.com/en/tokyos-stylish-public-toilets-inspire-filmmaker-wim-wenders/a-61772123
@@cineflect Thank you, it's always a pleasure to share. As far as the Perfect Days description, I remember that going around when the film was announced for the Cannes lineup, but it's strange that it hasn't been completely and officially debunked in the time since, as more than people have seen it by now.
Have you seen any of these movies?. Which ones are you most excited for? Let me know!
Obviously, I'm excited about Napoleon, but I'm the most excited for the limited release of Deep Sea next Friday. Hopefully, there are IMAX screenings.
@@erickmorales25 That one wasn't even on my radar. Let me know how it is!

Two great Indian films to watch if it's available near you:
1. Jigarthanda doublex
2.sapta sagaradaache ello side-B
(Watch side A it's brilliant)
Jigarthanda doublex was fucking phenomenal
Sadly neither of these are playing near me. DOUBLEX sounds amazing though!
