Legit curious to see how a training camp would stack up against some of the more selective schools in the military. It would be nice getting that NFL paycheck instead of the Service one though I am betting on that lol.
Pre-2000's college & NFL football camps were like diet military. Prolly not as tough as Marine training, but physically & mentally tougher than CrossFit (especially since your future was still kinda on the line in terms of scholarship or money).

I mean…if you’re talking selection courses (BUDS, RASP, SFAS, etc.), you gotta factor in the sleep deprivation, malnutrition, and/or working through injuries (blisters, rolled ankles, stress fractures, etc); NFL training camp is tough work, but you get a full night’s rest, every night, in a dry bed, indoors, with a full stomach and access to a whole team of physical trainers.
The check we got in camp wasn’t a lot, it was like $1200 a week and this was 2011 mind you I’m sure it’s a bit more. The money that an imager signed for doesn’t come into effect until the season starts. Pre season/camp and playoffs/Super Bowl everybody is getting paid the same predetermined amount from mahones down to a practice squad player
