Rented one last year for a week and it was great. Was nice to be behind the wheel of a BMW again. My last BMW that I owned was an 89 M3 which I miss dearly.
Just leased one two days ago, convinced after the test drive that it's a fun car, no doubt. There's only two things that I didn't notice before I committed to a 3 year lease. The seats are designed to keep you in place, but the sides push up against my hips, and my hips are not the best, so it's a bit painful, hopefully I can get used to it. Also, I sat in the back, it's definitely not comfortable for passengers on 2 or more hour trips, after awhile, there's no place to stretch your legs. All that said, great review, thanks. I also learned that the seat extends, so thanks again for that.
Nice write up as an owner! Glad you enjoyed the video. Thats my drawback with sedans if you intend on using ht back seats for people over long trips. SUV's have way more space to stretch out. The 7 series is a much larger car for that too.
It's hard to compare them since one is a sedan and one is an SUV! They have different purposes. Personally I would get the X3 because I don't need or want a sedan, but at some point I'll need an SUV, but depends on your preference and what you are looking for.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Thanks for the reply! I was indecisive because I didn't want to feel like I was giving up luxury feel of the 5 series for SUV but X3 looks more luxurious than previous years. Did the 5 series feel more luxurious to drive?
@@japanwatchconnectionhello. How is the reliability of your BMW 530i?? Has there been any serious issues? There’s a 2022 posted on Autotrader for a decent price and plan on getting it. I’d like to keep it long term but there are fear mongers out there why one should not pull the trigger.
BMW just look so much better than any other luxury sedan out there! But the cost of repairs, and it’s the same common problems on other models year after year, after warranty expiration is just too much! Many owners buy or lease for a few years then get a new one. I prefer to buy my cars for the long term that’s reliable!
Honestly modern BMW cars seem to be in the top with reliability. At least 2020 and newer seem to be rock solid cars. The older ones had their issues. But I'd buy a new one all day
I don’t own one but looking at a Z4 or X5 soon. 2020 and newer for both. My brother has owned two supras which have very reliable! Anything 2020 and newer I would trust, bmw is 2nd in reliability right now!
I would assume it is. Your car probably has an N/A engine. These new turbo cars are peppy and the transmission is probably way quicker then one from 08
@@vambat3523 Keep in mind its car that is 13 years newer. Ever model year they make the whole lineup better. Modern 4 cylinder turbo cars are faster then 15 year old V8 engines. Comes with the times
So? That really doesn't mean anything to me. That was cool when I was like 16, but when I'm used to driving on mountain roads and track driving, two hands are needed. Plus you can be quicker at responding with two..
The BMW lovers doesn't want to change inside much I love the way it has a stick shift and all the buttons for temperature control, Mercedes-Benz is all touch screen's
You are enunciating words when it's not needed, all the time. It almost sounds emotional like a female.. it's exhausting (no pun intended). When you test drive and review a car you can't afford, take off the rags you wore to bed and put on some pants and a nice button down shirt and some nice shoes, remember the shoes to, don't be like these young and some old twirly birds and where tennis shoes with nice clothes like Elton John on a date.
Interesting comment considering I own an Audi R8 and a Toyota Tacoma which is a lot more expensive than this. Thanks for checking out this BMW review, it's a sweet sedan and easily affordable! ruclips.net/video/AQmKkZ9fRHo/видео.html ruclips.net/video/ZxNjaw9c2co/видео.html

What a great daily driver. I can’t think of many sedans that can match BMW for looks, luxury and the driving experience. Thanks Mike! 👍
It’s definitely a nice daily if you want a BMW without a crazy price!

Oh cool! We have a 2022 530i video coming son. Very nice car for sure

Thanks, I heard about the 7 series and I checked the pricing, I'm not there yet, lol.

That BMW Is Nice Wit That Color
It’s a nice color for sure on this BMW!
In Europe we also get the 530d with an inline six diesel with 265 horsepower and 460 pound feet of torque.
That’s neat! We don’t have any diesel BMW’s here, I don’t think we’ll see one!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Very unlikely. Hell, diesel cars barely exist in the US+A. Even in Europe they’re slowly dying out.
@@DaveDVideoMaker Yeah, we mainly have diesel trucks and some volkswagens are diesel but that’s about it!

Lexus is probably the brand for you then, if you don't care about the infotainment much.
Honda Accord's luxury sister.
Yeah I can see that a bit
@japanwatchconnection Ok……..If thats your opinion i am fine with it.
I wonder if this model has automatic parking .
Could be an option
The interior looks like the cadillac premium luxury trim
It's a very nice interior for the 5 series for sure!

is there any big change from 2021 530i luxury lci ?
Not really. Pretty much the same car
Not sure I like that screen where it is

That's looks full size sedan from BMW 5 Series

What do you like about the Mercedes Benz E Class compared to this BMW!?
the BMW is so outdated. BMW has not redesigned the exterior and the interior for a long time. The Mercedes is way nicer on the interior.
