Nice review. Have you ever had a chance to compare 2021-23 530i with the M-sport package to the same year 530i without the M-sport package? I wonder if the addition of M-sport package makes the suspension way too stiff, or is the suspension still smooth and comfortable even with the M-sport?
I probably have, but I've been in a lot of BMW models with and without it. To me, it's not much of a difference daily driving. It can be comfortable in comfort mode, but you'd have to drive one to see how you feel. I like a stiffer ride, and to me the M sport suspensions aren't really stiff or harsh compared to my car setup.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thank you. I was pretty set in my mind in terms of getting a 2022-23 530i xdrive (with premium pckg) CPO'd lease returns and such, as they are under or around $38K-40K nowadays. But a friend of mine kept telling me to go for the ones with "M-sport pck + premium pck". I loved the comfortable and balanced drive of a "non"-Msport 2022 I drove few months ago, but I never had a chance to drive one with the m-sport one as they are less common and they are usually ~$2.5-3.5K more expensive. I wonder if it is worth specifically pursuing the 530i xdrive with M-sport and prem pcks as my friend strongly suggests. I may have to travel to other states or have one shipped out to me to find this combination (xdrive , msport + prem pck + low miles and cpo'ed) . :) Another gentleman suggested a 2022-23 "530i with Msport" would feel more comfortable and would have a more luxurious drive than "a 330i without M-sport". So it sounds like 530 with Msport is at a good spot of having some sporty feel without being too harsh or uncomfortably stiff. Thank you. Fyi: (1) my friend owns a 2023 X3 with m-sport pck. But x3 is a totally different ball game which I am not a fan of :) (2) I currently drive a 2019 Volvo S60 with 19" wheels (40 sidewalls). I literally hate its super stiff ride. It is good on highways or on very soft high quality asphalt roads. But once you start driving in and around the city on normal crappier roads you feel the uncomfortable compromise they made towards extra stiffness in suspension. The car literally bounces off of anything on the road; manhole covers, potholes etc. are nightmares to drive over. And in terms of cornering it does not feel sporty at all! It feels like a large sturdy sluggish truck. Nowhere near the sportiness-athletic drive of a 3 nor even A4/5. I even thought about downsizing to 18" wheels with 45 sidewalls but I was told the difference is soo miniscule it is not worth spending extra $2K for that. I replaced oem sporty pirellis with something on the comfort side , (bfgoodrich), and the ride got slightly softer but it is still very uncomfortable for my taste, and this vehicle is not worth keeping any longer. Now, I want to go for the more comfy drive of the 5 series or an A6. But I fear if the M-sport on a 530 would make it too stiff again which I would literally hate.
Pretty nice accelerations for a 4 cylinder! It's a shame that so many vehicles kicked the V6/inline 6 to the curb. But at least the newest turbo charged 4 cylinders do quite well with accelerating.
That screen looks like an aftermarket add on. Couldn’t they adopt some of the smooth transition of the center console to the climate control from the e39? It looks so segmented.
Question from Louisville Kentucky: I have a '19 Silverado and a '14 Camaro (StickShift) As my second car... kinda over the Camaro. Kids are grown, no need for space really. Trade Camaro for this? Testing identical one this week. Thanks from Louisville
I could see this being a good option! Is your Camaro a V8? If so might want the M550 for some power. But this one is quick enough. 540i is a good one too with the I6 engine
It's not a bad powerplant for the car. If you want enough power and good efficiency this is a good way to go. I personally would go for the I6 to get more power
I really like this gray 2022 BMW 530i sedan.
Brilliant job with your content as always bro.
Glad you enjoyed this bmw review! It’s a cool sedan.

Oh cool!
Another great review thanks for all the knowledge and effort you put in keep it up 👍🏻🤟🏻.
Glad you enjoyed this review and thanks!!
Imo, best looking sedan in this segment.
It’s certainly a nice looking bmw for sure!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Interior is getting dated but the redesigned 5er is on the way and will no doubt remedy that 😄
@@b286guy Yeah it’s time for a refresh for sure!

Yeah I would agree! But more power and better mpg from a smaller engine is hard to argue!

I like it! Much nicer in my opinion than the separate screens. It’s a big screen for sure though.
The car looks sharp! 😎
It’s a sweet bmw!
In Europe, we get a Touring version in addition to the sedan.
That’s cool! We don’t have that model bmw here.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Shame you don’t get the 5er Touring over in the states.
what is the name of color?
I mentioned that in the first 0:30 seconds!
2022 Mustang GT PP1 next?
We do have some mustang content coming! What’s “PP1” stand for?

Can I jump the battery in the trunk?
I think there are terminals in the engine bay for jumping it
