    Another amazing profile you have made! I am glad to see the RGB look so sharp! It’s rivals the VGA so much! If you want you can mail it to me. (We have mailed me before from your last Framemeister video). You should try and make more profiles for retro consoles. :) I am sure people just love to see them and make them drool over the Framemeister. Which I finally bought because of you. Haha. Take Care!

      @BlipsnPips  4 года назад +1

      I have to get it off my micro sd card but yea, after I do that, I'll mail it to ya! I would make more profiles but saddly I need more scart cables. And I've spent my gaming budget on alota stuff. Still need snes, something for gamecube but thats tricky, and xbox. For now anyway...

    • @Aorusx
      @Aorusx 4 года назад

      Blips 'n Pips Sounds good! Thank you! Also! GameCube and Xbox are both kind of tricky because of the prices of Compenent cables. For the GameCube I am using a CARBY Compenent Cable and that does get the job done for me. But may look for the RGB Scart variants to see how the difference is. I mean you basically have proofed in this video that the RGB Scart for the Dreamcast can rival the VGA. That’s saying a lot!
      Although RetroGamingCables does have a RGB scart for Xbox as well for GameCube. And the RGB scart one is universal for most Nintendo products. So one cable that can fit in; NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, although now they are out of stock. Else I’d see to make you a donation later this month to see what your magic does with it. ;)

    I purchased an aftermarket VGA cable free of the obnoxious box that the proprietary one had, and it looks stunning in 480p. I was reasonably certain that any quality cable would do the job, but mine only cost me $10. And it's nice, well shielded cable with gold contacts. Money well spent, for sure.

      Hell yea! I'm still dipping my toes into the upscaling scene. Its been great so far!

    • @HenryTByrne
      @HenryTByrne 4 года назад

      @@BlipsnPips, yeah, see, I'm not upscaling, though. Dreamcast is 480p right out of the box. All that's necessary to take advantage of it is a VGA cable. I didn't absorb enough of your vid to understand exactly what your cable might do that VGA doesn't. It looked like an RGB or scart cable, or something. I did, however, subscribe to the channel.

    • @BlipsnPips
      @BlipsnPips  4 года назад +1

      I'm far from the most technical, but there is a switch on it that takes from the standard scart input of 576i and outputs the 480p for things that can accept it, for me its my framemeister. Standard vga cable to a vga monitor would likely produce the same effect. At any rate, thanks for subbing man! My channel is still quite small but always growing! Lemme know if there is ever a video you'd like me to make!

      Hi I have recently purchased a 50hz CRT 24" and has 2 scart connections on the back and red, white, yellow audio on front. I want my dreamcast to have a decent picture for the lightgun zombie game. Would the packapunch scart be ok for that ? and does it go from the console straight into the tv ?

      @@cloud9438 It would be yes, however for a CRT it will only work in the 15khz mode. Picture will still look brilliant, though. The 480p mode is when you want it on TVs that support 480p, or even Upscalers like the RetroTink5X.
