I once read this book titled My Friend Mothman by Lauren Devora and just like this movie, it tells about a friendship between a girl and the cryptid. However in the story, the girl attempts to reunite Mothman with his long lost family instead of teaching him to scare away a hunter. Really good story too. 👍🏻👍🏻
