I'm from Oaxaca.... Xoxocotlán to be exact. And I can confidently say, Oaxaca sucks at tacos. Guadalajara, CDMX and Tijuana is where it's at for tacos. One thing I HATE HATE HATE about eating at pretty much at place in Oaxaca, specially a sit down places, is that they almost always give you lukewarm food.
The tacos in CDMX are definitely great. I’ve been wanting to go to Guadalajara eventually, so hopefully will be able to try them out there soon. Nice to get a local Oaxacan’s perspective on food in Mexico❤
Habrá lugares buenos y no tan buenos como en todo el mundo. Sin embargo, en Oaxaca hay una gran variedad de comida exquisita pero también tiene que ver el lugar porque pues no siempre es lo que uno espera. Hay platillos que sí se ven deliciosos y a la vista agradables.

Es cierto. No place is perfect when it comes to food, but Oaxaca certainly comes close.
