I was using Stay Frosty with Rimestealer and Headstone, the Legato Shotgun with autoload and incandescent and Salvations Grip - Stasis crystals everywhere and tons of shattering for Stasis Shards. I was never for lack of melee or grenade energy. My favorite loadout ever so far

Sadly, D2 used to be a way for me to push through the worry and emotional stress of her declining health. She sits on the couch and I play on a laptop so we can be together. But D2 jsut isn't fun anymore - and I don't believe it is burn out - it is just really lame. SO, I'm gonna try this new build (sight unseen) and maybe the fun will return. Thanks, man. :)

I use a similar build and love running it with ice breaker. You can literally just shoot your own stasis crystal, not even an enemy, and it will cause an ignition. With the catalyst, you never run out of ammo. It's so awesome to clear out packs, not that this build has any issues with that to begin with.
TBH all i want for christmas is to see my little brother excited for the gift i got him! Hes recently gotten into playing ukulele and he really wanted a bass guitar for christmas. Was able to get him one and an amp to go with it.
I hope I get a new desk to go with my new dual PC setup to add more room so I can add a couple more monitors. In all honesty, truly I hope I get to meet some people that truly need fellowship on Christmas night when I volunteer at a meal event for people in need. Thanks for all you do Mac

It also has Rimestealer + Headstone & can deal with Champions vs the AR that cannot currently. Also! Something I've noticed using MoF frequently. Seems like smashing any Crystal/Frozen targets with ANY damage shoots out the multiple Shurikens. Bugged again? For the better this time so sssshhhh dont tell Bungo!! Oh & Shatterdive is really fun with it too.

I have a build idea. It doesn’t appear to be very popular, but it is very fun and it works. Exotics: the prospector, verity’s brow Primary weapon: any weapon with voltshot or jolting feedback (vantage point and noxious vetiver are both great choices) Stats: shoot for 100 resilience and at least 80 discipline Helmet mods: heavy ammo finder, 2 arc siphons Gauntlet mods: 3 bolstering detonations Chest mods: up to you (I just use the 3 basic resistance mods) Leg mods: absolution, 2 recuperations Class item mod: distribution, 2 bombers Aspects: arc soul, electrostatic mind Fragments: discharge, magnitude, focus, shock Abilities: Healing rift, ball lightning, storm grenade This build focuses on frequent use of high damage grenades and constantly having your rift available. Using these abilities will naturally produce plenty of ionic traces thus fueling all abilities. The ball lightning is more of a sideline ability but there is no harm in upping your strength stat as well. Hope you have fun with this build!

I've been playing around and testing different variations of this build too see what sticks the best, and I think I found a good combo for me. It sacrifices a little of the more evident class regeneration but it still loops generously while gaining tremendous Super generation and Orb generation, as well as aerial mobility and Boss DPS. Gambler's Dodge, Withering Blade and Glacier Grenade - These stay the same. Grim Harvest as well. For second Aspect though, I run Shatterdive. I find it fun and engaging, and saves me from shattering the stasis crystals always with a melee, thus I can use more melees directly against enemies. For fragments, Whispers of Shards and Hunger are still present, as is Conduction. But my final two fragments are Whispers of Bonds and Torment. The second helps with the Grenade Loop to spam them more and faster, and those grenades (if thrown correctly) will Freeze and kill and generate Orbs of Power. Directly hitting enemies with Melee will also Freeze them thanks to the small crystal formed in their feet, so now both Melee and Grenade can generate Orbs. For further Orb Creation, Reaper and Heavy Handed mods in the armor help a little. I don't run more than one copy of each because more often than not my melee will damage and freeze, but not kill the enemy. When enemies die to a crystal shattering it doesn't count as a melee kill, and the WB generated by the exotic are too inconsistent so I don't even bother. Just from time to time a blade will bounce a couple of times and kill something to generate an extra Orb, and from time to time I will use my weapon to kill so it will generate another one (but this build is mostly a melee spam). For that same reason, and my choice of weapons, I run a copy of Arc Syphon and Harmonic Syphon for another two Orb sources. And Curative Orbs in the artifact is just the cherry on top. Orbs will additionally heal me with Recuperation and help with the Skill Loop thanks to Restoration and Absolution. Focusing Strike and Impact Induction give a little extra energy for Class and 'Nade every couple of seconds when I keep hitting Melees. And Distribution and Dynamo bounce back more energy for Super and other Skills when I dodge. Finally, Special Finisher will help me stack Armor Charge and generate special ammo when I urgently need it. Which is not often because despite running double Specials, I play mostly with Skills alone to kill stuff. Armor Charge is also used in advanced tech with Armor Swap when dealing Boss DPS, to power up some Stats Fonts, as well as one particular Artifact Perk. Finally, my weapons of choice: Liturgy (stasis GL), Cloudstrike and Chill Inhibitor. No, I don't have the "Area of Denial" archetype GL from Episode Echoes, but this one works great because 1) It's a Dark Ether Reaper weapon, 2) you can get a perfect roll in the Season Pass (Slideways+Chill Clip) already and 3) Disorienting Grenades are amazing for Crowd Control. It also don't lose in terms of damage as long as you make direct hits against enemies, although the radius is minimal. For AoE I can simply hit a headshot with Cloudstrike, and that usually instantly generates an Orb of Power as well (Arc Syphon). The Bait and Switch heavy GL deals most of the Boss DPS, but Cloudstrike can also dish some consistent DPS specially with the Catalyst. The Artifact Perks that synergyze with all this are One with Frost+Rapid Impacts for GL reload, Concussive Reload for some boss debuff, The Think of It and Curative Orbs help with Armor Charge management, and Served Cold makes restoring Class energy a joke. The final Holy Trinity comes in the form of Trace Evidence, Retinal Burn and Arc Compunding. Since you're gonna be hitting headshots rapidly with Cloudstrike anyways, that will in turn spend some Armor Charge to blind the enemy, making them more susceptible to further arc damage, like the storm that spawns in top of them or just more sniper shots. This also generate Ionic Traces for even more Skill Regeneration, but at this point that's overkill. What's important is that with the correct Tonic those Ionic Traces restore your Armor Charges, feeding the Loop. In case someone is interested, the advanced tech of swapping armor sets in between DPS phases helps this build shine through the usage of Mask of Bakris. Mask of Fealty is good for ad-clear but lacks DPS capabilities, however Mask of Bakris not only keeps me alive longer with the phasing dodge, but it also grants 11 seconds of 4x Surge for both Stasis and Arc weapons, that's a 25% increase in DPS without sacrificing any leg armor mods. Arc Holster for example works wonders here instead.

SoF warlock Heat rises & Hellion Char, eruption, ashes, searing Guns- tractor canon, anything with incandescent and I usually also run auto loading lost signal Necrotic grips Mods- hands on, heavy handed, powerful attraction, siphon and surge mods, outreach and invigoration Loop- consume grenade, incinerator snap while in the air, dive. Use tractor canon on yellow bars before snap. For more survivability switch ashes with empyrean
Mactics, I also saw you are a Capt. Rex fan… I’ve watched Star Wars from its inception in ‘77 and Capt Rex is and always will be my favorite character!
I built a similar class set up. Although I revolved it around salvation grip I think it’s called. It’s the stun locking GOAT. With proper mods you can hold 30 (split between mag and reserve) and each shot was constantly doing about 100,00-120,00 damage. Give it a try 👍
I’ve been running a build similar to this for most of the season and it is insane for adclear. I use chill inhibitor so I still have boss damage options and have been having a ton of fun with erianna’s vow. I always feel like there are a ton of solar shields and being able to get those random ignitions is super fun. I haven’t been rng blessed yet but even though I’m not a sniper person I think running icebreaker would actually be a decent combo for this build as well so really all I want for christmas is icebreaker haha
D2 may be in a rut but per usual it will bounce back and there will be hype. Hoping the same can happen for those this Christmas. Just want myself and everyone doing and living well in prosper. Merry Christmas to you all

I’ve been running something similar for a while, but the exotic ice breaker sniper works great even without the catalyst. Just some extra utility, and who doesn’t like more explosions.
Hey Mac, just an idea for weapon choices. If you're doing difficult stuff Wicked implement is really good or if you want more add clear Ager's scepter is a good choice next to the Verglas curve. For the heavy though there is Typhon gl5 rolled with chill clip for bosses and tankier enemies. The new auto rifle feels a bit underwhelming for a more aggressive play style in my opinion.
All I want during the Christmas season is to spend time with family and soak in the excitement of the little ones. That pure joy and innocence doesn't last for very long!
For this Christmas I wish for some better luck. Been a rough year for a lot of us. So many things have happened this year that I've had to deal with. Car repair, water heater, furnace, roof. 10:25 I think it's an artifact mod causing that, if it was actually the exotic then you would be getting smaller crystals spread around. Speaking of artifact mods, what happened to you not using them so builds stand the test of time?

If you use the tonic boost for curative orbs every stasis shards give you free health. Its like having devour if you're using a chill clip weapon as everyone kill guarantees a shard.
I really like the site you link to see everything. The only issue is the armor mods don't show the cost. It was nice to see a DIM link because it showed the cost to set up the build in D2armor picker. I'll admit, I'm not sure if your builds on that site allow a dim link.
I would use the mod that gains Grenade energy on melee damage + Duskfield. Then you will have a dusk field to slow and freeze (With activated class regen). And then use the class ability to get 1 melee back (gambler's dodge). Then, use that melee to restart the cycle. You will dodge a lot in this build, frequently triggering dmg resist from Winter's Shroud and Reaper mod. It's good and very resilient. About weapons, Tinasha is the only gun you need. Just 1 shot from Tinasha with a chill clip is enough to start your endless combo cycle. Aspect: Grim Harvest, Winter's Shroud Fragment: like in the video. The last fragment really helps spam a lot of stasis shards. It will make your melee regain faster than using it. And I love dusk field, it's very useful when facing annoying enemies such as Champion or a group of enemies. It is also the lowest CD grenade. Weapon: Tinasha's Mastery + anything you want. I would like VS Chill Inhibinator to run a stasis surge. Then about the artifact mod, to orb of power, one is very good. And when boosted,collectingt stasis shards also help you regain health.

These mask builds are fun but not nearly as suitable for endgame content as prismatic Hunter builds. Also you’re way better off with a hand cannon, pulse, or scout with headstone so you can more reliably hit precision shots. Lastly, you absolutely have to use Salvations grip as heavy, ice crystals on demand!
Yeah it’s honestly just better to run pris as you get access to invis, facet of blessing, radiant… and if you use silkstrike you get woven mail which is arguably better than frost armour anyway.

Also that helm plus Icebreaker (with cat) and stasis rocket sidearm is nutty on prismatic and stasis. Literally unlimited withering blades and ammo. I know you can’t really make a build off a dungeon exotic but I’d highly recommend. Same with the warlocks new rimecoat chest piece with Burt those weapons. Just bonkers.
It's a 5 Below Christmas from my end. Everyone's just really happy to be able to spend time together. One last holiday before this country goes all the way to hell.
already set up a build basically the same as this - swapped out rime for rending for extra damage to crystals with a primary ammo weapon (fair judgement) also liked salvations grip for the heavy for extra crystals too - its a solid build but nothing special - artifact really helps it for this season but nothing to shout about
I’ve used this mask of fealty build variation as well. It’s so good. As for Christmas, I already got what I wanted as my wife and I are expecting a baby next summer.
Been running fealty on prismatic subclass and it is so much better than it is on stasis with the right fragments. You can be radiant, get frost armor from orbs, reload weapons on powered melee kills, increase the stasis burst size, and have quick access to pop prismatic which is like a second super.
@ winters shroud and stylish ex aspects, and for fragments dawn, ruin, command, protection, and purpose. You’ll want to have good orb creation, I typically run the stasis or void supers, but prefer the stasis one.

It's probably the shards from the artifact perk, not shurikens.

I love running winter bite with it, makes using stasis siphon a lot easier and is great for ad clear

The Bait and Switch heavy GL deals most of the Boss DPS, but Cloudstrike can also dish some consistent DPS specially with the Catalyst.
The Artifact Perks that synergyze with all this are One with Frost+Rapid Impacts for GL reload, Concussive Reload for some boss debuff, The Think of It and Curative Orbs help with Armor Charge management, and Served Cold makes restoring Class energy a joke. The final Holy Trinity comes in the form of Trace Evidence, Retinal Burn and Arc Compunding. Since you're gonna be hitting headshots rapidly with Cloudstrike anyways, that will in turn spend some Armor Charge to blind the enemy, making them more susceptible to further arc damage, like the storm that spawns in top of them or just more sniper shots. This also generate Ionic Traces for even more Skill Regeneration, but at this point that's overkill. What's important is that with the correct Tonic those Ionic Traces restore your Armor Charges, feeding the Loop.
In case someone is interested, the advanced tech of swapping armor sets in between DPS phases helps this build shine through the usage of Mask of Bakris. Mask of Fealty is good for ad-clear but lacks DPS capabilities, however Mask of Bakris not only keeps me alive longer with the phasing dodge, but it also grants 11 seconds of 4x Surge for both Stasis and Arc weapons, that's a 25% increase in DPS without sacrificing any leg armor mods. Arc Holster for example works wonders here instead.

Mods- hands on, heavy handed, powerful attraction, siphon and surge mods, outreach and invigoration
Loop- consume grenade, incinerator snap while in the air, dive.
Use tractor canon on yellow bars before snap.
For more survivability switch ashes with empyrean

Icebreaker with this build is goated, especially for boss ignitions when you use your super
I built a similar class set up. Although I revolved it around salvation grip I think it’s called. It’s the stun locking GOAT. With proper mods you can hold 30 (split between mag and reserve) and each shot was constantly doing about 100,00-120,00 damage. Give it a try 👍
I’ve been running a build similar to this for most of the season and it is insane for adclear. I use chill inhibitor so I still have boss damage options and have been having a ton of fun with erianna’s vow. I always feel like there are a ton of solar shields and being able to get those random ignitions is super fun. I haven’t been rng blessed yet but even though I’m not a sniper person I think running icebreaker would actually be a decent combo for this build as well
so really all I want for christmas is icebreaker haha

I’ve been running something similar for a while, but the exotic ice breaker sniper works great even without the catalyst. Just some extra utility, and who doesn’t like more explosions.
The biggest gift is hanging out with my friends and having a great time gaming

Hey Mac, just an idea for weapon choices. If you're doing difficult stuff Wicked implement is really good or if you want more add clear Ager's scepter is a good choice next to the Verglas curve. For the heavy though there is Typhon gl5 rolled with chill clip for bosses and tankier enemies. The new auto rifle feels a bit underwhelming for a more aggressive play style in my opinion.

If you use the tonic boost for curative orbs every stasis shards give you free health. Its like having devour if you're using a chill clip weapon as everyone kill guarantees a shard.

I would use the mod that gains Grenade energy on melee damage + Duskfield. Then you will have a dusk field to slow and freeze (With activated class regen). And then use the class ability to get 1 melee back (gambler's dodge). Then, use that melee to restart the cycle. You will dodge a lot in this build, frequently triggering dmg resist from Winter's Shroud and Reaper mod. It's good and very resilient.
About weapons, Tinasha is the only gun you need. Just 1 shot from Tinasha with a chill clip is enough to start your endless combo cycle.
Aspect: Grim Harvest, Winter's Shroud
Fragment: like in the video. The last fragment really helps spam a lot of stasis shards. It will make your melee regain faster than using it. And I love dusk field, it's very useful when facing annoying enemies such as Champion or a group of enemies. It is also the lowest CD grenade.
Weapon: Tinasha's Mastery + anything you want. I would like VS Chill Inhibinator to run a stasis surge. Then about the artifact mod, to orb of power, one is very good. And when boosted,collectingt stasis shards also help you regain health.

These mask builds are fun but not nearly as suitable for endgame content as prismatic Hunter builds. Also you’re way better off with a hand cannon, pulse, or scout with headstone so you can more reliably hit precision shots. Lastly, you absolutely have to use Salvations grip as heavy, ice crystals on demand!
Yeah it’s honestly just better to run pris as you get access to invis, facet of blessing, radiant… and if you use silkstrike you get woven mail which is arguably better than frost armour anyway.

Also that helm plus Icebreaker (with cat) and stasis rocket sidearm is nutty on prismatic and stasis. Literally unlimited withering blades and ammo. I know you can’t really make a build off a dungeon exotic but I’d highly recommend. Same with the warlocks new rimecoat chest piece with Burt those weapons. Just bonkers.

@ highly recommend grabbing a catalyst checkpoint from a bot on twitch. You quite literally can main ice breaker with the catalyst
I use Coldsnap grenades with Mask and they feel so good with that aspect Touch of Winter. Makes the build IMO
I’ve been using a Smite of Merrain with demo+swash plus icebreaker and the helmet, works very smoothly at all difficulty levels.

already set up a build basically the same as this - swapped out rime for rending for extra damage to crystals with a primary ammo weapon (fair judgement) also liked salvations grip for the heavy for extra crystals too - its a solid build but nothing special - artifact really helps it for this season but nothing to shout about

I’ve used this mask of fealty build variation as well. It’s so good. As for Christmas, I already got what I wanted as my wife and I are expecting a baby next summer.
Been running fealty on prismatic subclass and it is so much better than it is on stasis with the right fragments. You can be radiant, get frost armor from orbs, reload weapons on powered melee kills, increase the stasis burst size, and have quick access to pop prismatic which is like a second super.
Quick rundown of your build bro?
@ winters shroud and stylish ex aspects, and for fragments dawn, ruin, command, protection, and purpose. You’ll want to have good orb creation, I typically run the stasis or void supers, but prefer the stasis one.
I have a stasis and a prismatic one and honestly like the stasis better but both is fine.
