Honestly I really enjoyed the solo experience for this dungeon. I’ve gotten comfortable soloing first and second encounter fairly easily on titan but man that final boss is no joke without a team, it’s the one thing holding me back from flawless, because of simple mistakes getting me killed.
ya even as someone that has done all solo flawless dungeons, final boss fucked me up and still does, dont be discouraged shits hard as fuck but fun. I believe you will get it, keep pushing :)
54:03 don't be afraid to pop your super if you really need to save yourself. Swap to a helmet with 3x dynamo and spam phoenix dive near that glass wall. The ads on the other side* are in range for dynamo and you can git your super back very quickly.
Little tip to our console players like me, if you want to note down the numbers during the 2nd encounter, in the left side as you det rid of your viral buff after learning your numbers the little doorway's right corner before exiting is a great spot you can just AFK in to type them up into your game chat. Nothing can hurt you here AT ALL. Can take all the time you need, jot down numbers, swap builds, go get a drink even if you need it.
Great guide. For first encounter why not save the heart room for last? This way there’s not as much time pressure to kill the big brig bc the distance you travel beforehand is shorter.
Your strat on Raneiks is so good, best dps for warlock by far I’ve tried and only thing comparable to behemoth. Thanks so much. Got my solo done today, not flawless settled for the clear today while practicing final encounter.
Honestly a 4-5 phase is not that bad. I remember clearing simmumah (GotD) for 7 phase using my hunter back during its release season. But they really ought to make the incoming lightning damage indicator more pronounced in this dungeon. It's especially a pain in the ass if you're in a solar super.

For anybody having problems in the reactor rooms before final boss DPS… Vesper of Radius can regenerate your phoenix dive in seconds as it’s a class ability and on a much faster cooldown than rift
Really appreciate you not telling us to set up like 5 loadouts to swap between on each encounter. I hate looking at solo damage videos for reference and seeing them use like 5 different loadouts.

Awesome guide. Helped me solo. Not crazy enough for flawless yet. As of Dec '24, i recommend prismatic with speakers sight and dragon's breath/lost signal for the Servitor boss. Devour and solar siphon/surge and helion cooks. Wardcliff is too dangerous for me! Dont forget tonic of weakening void for reload 😅 Thanks, Mactics! 🎉😊

Final boss with Star-eater Nova+Lost Signal and Anarchy was, weirdly enough, the loadout I found myself, a hardcore Solar Warlock, most comfortable with: just keep spamming those nades while hopping around the arena like a madman. Easiest three phase ever imho
@@NC-gk5kd I never did loadout swaps, I ran with the exact same build, killing ads with Lost Signal and a Heal Clip/Incandescent Heliocentric sidearm. The exotic bond has Necrotic/Star-eater, which is actually really good and versatile: it's just free melee damage that helps both in clearing adds and in damaging the boss while spamming Arcane Needle
For your Hunter guide (the class I did it on), for final boss I HIGHLY recommend Stompees. This is because they both help you move out of the beams faster, stay in the air longer, and provide 30% damage resist while you are in the air. Paired with Lost Signal with unrelenting for easy heals when you kill a puppet, and it is super safe.
This is a really good approach to getting flawless. Thanks for the tips. you can shoot the keypad from the elevator if you want when you get back from DPS.
Haven’t watched this yet, but my brother did and told me what important things you had to say. Got my SF done and gotta say this is easily my favorite one. Its hard, but I had fun
Great guide. The only thing that has been frustrating the hell out of me that gets left out of all these guides: you cannot not just take your time in the Red/Blue rooms. It’s a weird change of pace but once you use Op to shoot the 4 buttons, you are on a timer to use scanner and kill the right puppet before the room ignites. It isn’t very long either.
Beautiful 4 phase on a warlock for the Puppeteer. I did a solar warlock clear using the auto load from a tonic AND dunking the nuke, and it still took me 4 phases. For me, getting back up to the perch, was as dangerous as the spicy floor because the clones can boop your jump trajectory when you try to get back up. Your use of the x20 missles early was awesome. For me, trying to mitigate the missiles traking to a clone on the left platform was a waste of time...ie. damage to the boss. Final Note: Do not use ricochet rounds when you have the operator buff on the first floor. I appreciate you warning people about the dangers of hitting the wrong panel, but I don't have the "light" Sunbreaker. I used a summoner with heal clip/incandescent and hit the wrong panel from a ricochet (luckily it was on a practice run and was a lesson learned).
In the red room, you can also crouch behind one of the obstacles in the back and won't get snipped and the melee guys won't go back there, much easier then jumping up top.
EDIT!!!! Just completed my SOLO flawless. I found that if you stand looking directly at the pole, and you jump straight to it you usually land on it no problem. I did fall off a couple times, and that also resulted in the 5 phase just due to me being stressed out from all the flinch :P. Jumping on the antenna is such a challenge. I did 10.5 million damage to the boss, and couldn’t jump up there and got swarmed by the clones and hit by the lightning 😭 I was so close to clearing it too. Idek how I’m gonna keep jumping on that pole. Might just do some runs with randoms to practice it. THANK YOU for your guises. Very insightful information and I will be using it moving forwards
I had the same experience and basically just consigned myself to practice runs. Once you start sticking the landing it just kinda clicks, the last few practice runs I died to weird things *not* in the boss room, only stuff like getting body-blocked by blue clones or forgetting to watch devour. It's annoying that it takes so long to get to the jump to practice it, but it's worth the time. I feel like I have the jump down now (killed the boss) so I'm gonna try for flawless tomorrow.

Tip for getting ammo right before going up to Boss DPS: if you pick up the augments and walk through the buff clearing wall (either the one in the room where you dunk the nuke or in the main room) it will spawn the vandals carrying the vandals. So, if you keep killing the vandals, grabbing their buffs, go in the teleporter to go to the main room, go down the elevator shaft (which has the buff clearing mesh wall and gets rid of your buff), you can keep cycling through vandals until have all the heavy ammo you want
MAC!! Bungie in it's infinite wisdom nerfed the Key pads to charge up grand overature rockets!! is it worth charging up volley's on normal dregs? or just use Grand Overature normally? shoot 20 shots / launch volley/ rinse repeat??
After tragic heartbreak during my Titan run where I only needed to get to dps one last time but died to radiation I brushed myself off and tried this strat my next stream n I cleared the solo flawless! Pyroelectric propellant with jolting feedback is super fun for the servitor encounter. Just lay shots into the machine priests and it jolts all the other enemies spawning. Super good for prismatic warlock
I had to farm heavy on my 2nd to last dps and did not bank scanner. He did NOT spawn upstairs in the next phase. Had to guess the number. Went with 4 because it had been 4 a lot on previous phases. Guessed correct. Solo done. Only 8k ppl have the emblem so far.

Actually, you will want the catalyst for Grand Overture next week, with the new Act II artifact mod. “Arc Compounding - Arc sources do increased damage to blinded targets”.
You missed at the start of the transition from encounter 1 - 2 in the side room you go into the captain will spawn there and you can get the nuke a bit safer
One quick note, The Corrupted Puppeteer (aka Atraks-1, Fallen Exo) is a female Fallen Exo. Also had a question for you as well, what exotic would you recommend for those of us that don't like how Grand Overture feels to fire?
Also, DO NOT farm the viral carriers below for super or ammo before the damage phase. You can, but if you forget to bank them before going up to do damage. If you do this and do a DPS phase, there is a high chance (practically guaranteed) that you will be locked in the top room with no way to get out, causing a wipe and ruining your flawless run.
I’m back again Mr Mactics, using ur guide to try soloing this dungeon.. last time I used ur Assassins Cowl hunter build and solo’d Ghosts of the deep.. For vespers first encounter can ya get the cores in any order??☮️
thank you for these uploads, is it possible to add suggestions for an exotic non class item to be added to the potential gear options? Some solo people or beginners like myself dont have class items. of course getting them is worth it, but its sadly out of reach.
Haven’t been able to solo the dungeon because of those explosive shanks ruining my runs, not sure what I could do to get them down as soon as possible.
Are there any prismatic solo options for raneiks that gets anywhere close the the rain of fire build? I’m having a much harder time staying alive on pure solar, especially when you get transported up and have to deal with the exploder shanks. My current strat is pop song of flame while machine priest is around half health, then you have enough to super the shanks. Otherwise I’m too shite at hand cannon hip firing to clear the crowd! And I can usually rebuild super pretty fast before dps with a dynamo mod. But still, it’s way harder to keep a restoration loop going vs a devour loop.
Any chance that you could maybe do some type of series of the best 3 builds out atm for each character. For what I’m thinking it would look like, grandmaster, dungeon, and onslaught content and what builds the best builds are for each. Even if it’s just in your opinion, obviously doesn’t have to be the most perfect accurate thing. Maybe you need more time for testing and other stuff like that but if not I feel like it’d be a nice idea. Especially since a lot of builds recently, are all the new exotics, (fair because new content=more views=happy RUclipsr) but I’m just saying being realistic and showing more than, “these hunter glaives are amazing” and then it just shows a clip of the boss fight in onslaught with 2,000,000 glaives being thrown, (again I’m not trying to be rude to ANY RUclipsr that does so, it makes sense, it’s appealing to see and again CONTENT). It just would be nice to see stuff like that for people that aren’t the greatest at build craft, want a build to grind for or try, and/or just want to try something new because there tired of their own. On top of this, many people obviously appreciate meta builds new or not. When it comes down to it I understand many people are using the same meta builds as last season, but for people picking back up on the game, especially, it would be nice to have videos to help them get materials quicker, have a reason to get the materials, and have fun once they get the “meta builds” to then keep playing; which we all know we don’t want destiny to die which not saying that’s happening just saying new players having an easier experience with a game that many struggle to grasp at the beginning is always gonna be helpful. Also, I do get making multiple videos on multiple builds, it obv more helpful to spread out content for RUclips appeal. But again these could be builds that you’ve already made videos on and you just reiterate the fact that they’re good and emphasize what they’re good for specifically. Lastly, for this specific point, destiny ALWAYS has changes going on whether good, bad, weapons, armor, exotics, abilities, etc so knowing this just about every 3-5 updates you could already make a new one soon after them, possibly not but also possibly so. Speaking more deeply into the fact of people getting tired of builds or wanting to try out new ones, looking at long time players they obviously are cool to probably try whatever, most of them are gonna be way more into the meta and likely get tired of certain builds more often, just how it goes when continually playing one game and also it’s just human nature to get tired/bored of things. Now new players probably have no idea what the “meta build” is but when they see the first build that looks cool they probably just jump at it, that’s how I was quite some time ago when I first started and only played casually, so to have a specific videos that’s saying “hey you’re doing dungeons/grandmasters/onslaught? Use this! If you’re doing vespers you can trade this out for this and if you’re doing warlords you can trade this out for this”. You don’t even need to do dungeons necessarily, but most often these builds coming out are for onslaught and vespers as I said before. So then what do some people that want to try warlords and are new do about what they bring, not gonna work to great if they bring storms edge, duality, and a cold snap grenade to warlords. If they watch an older video on builds for warlords when it first came out (since that’s like all that shows up since it’s not new content anymore) and they end up using some kind of old meta that’s been nerfed 28 times and now it does less than half of what it showed on the video they watched (due to bungie’s nerfs) it’s just gonna be a bit rough. Now I’m sure you get the point, so take what I said and how I typed it with a grain of salt, it’s 4 am and this was just an idea. Obviously it’s your channel do what you want and if you read this fantastic, if you don’t again that’s fine it was just something on my mind and figured you were the perfect person to ask what you thought about it. Keep up the great builds, content, and the fun you bring into them. I’ve been watching you for about two years now on multiple RUclips accounts. So thanks for making these great videos and thanks for making the destiny grind, struggle, and bungie‘s ridiculousness easier to deal with man. 💙

This is how I am as well. Final boss DPS and downstairs are just kinda easy to die in.
For the final boss pop the tonic that reloads your weapons when you hit a boss with a gl, you don’t have to reload overture and will assist in damage.
Adding to this, just make the blue version of this tonic. You can make a lot more and it doesn’t cost as much
I’m sure the reason he didn’t add this is because he wants the guide to outlast the season.

I highly recommend solar subclass with SOF super on both + use 2 arc resist 1 solar on the normal loadout and 3 Arc resist for DPS loadout

You missed at the start of the transition from encounter 1 - 2 in the side room you go into the captain will spawn there and you can get the nuke a bit safer

My guess would be that being higher up you take less or no lightning damage, but haven't tried that spot yet so I'm not sure.

Use Leviathan’s Breath instead. Keep your aim at the ‘Puppy’, its aoe damage will deal massive damage/kill the replicas around the boss

a little addon to the infinite ammo abuse you can pick up the other two buffs aswell and loose them to the barrier so three guys respawn
Also, DO NOT farm the viral carriers below for super or ammo before the damage phase. You can, but if you forget to bank them before going up to do damage. If you do this and do a DPS phase, there is a high chance (practically guaranteed) that you will be locked in the top room with no way to get out, causing a wipe and ruining your flawless run.
You can just go back down the elevators lmao

If you have crafted, or have access to a heal clip Nullify or Luna's, that might be an even better weapon to run for this.
Igneous Hammer is the best HC for solo play because of Alacrity.
Heliocentric is really good as well.

Yeah you can charge it off the trip mines between the bottom rooms, or on the respawning carrier. It just takes a minute or two longer.
HUGE tip..about the Relic at the beginning i had no idea that it's timer is only counting down while it's on the ground..i never put that together.

46:35 what's going on here? In my void aspect it says that you get devour ONLY with void abilities, do I have to improve the aspect or something?
On prismatic subclass you can get devour with any ability kill you get is not tied to void only

Finish the spider quest step you're on while you run it. The game thinks its a part of the dungeon until you've done all steps

What’s the advantage of phoenix dive over rift?
Are there any prismatic solo options for raneiks that gets anywhere close the the rain of fire build? I’m having a much harder time staying alive on pure solar, especially when you get transported up and have to deal with the exploder shanks. My current strat is pop song of flame while machine priest is around half health, then you have enough to super the shanks. Otherwise I’m too shite at hand cannon hip firing to clear the crowd! And I can usually rebuild super pretty fast before dps with a dynamo mod. But still, it’s way harder to keep a restoration loop going vs a devour loop.
Does the tank at the front of the dps room have the same effect as the aerial you jumped on? Having trouble landing that jump reliably :(

Any chance that you could maybe do some type of series of the best 3 builds out atm for each character. For what I’m thinking it would look like, grandmaster, dungeon, and onslaught content and what builds the best builds are for each. Even if it’s just in your opinion, obviously doesn’t have to be the most perfect accurate thing. Maybe you need more time for testing and other stuff like that but if not I feel like it’d be a nice idea. Especially since a lot of builds recently, are all the new exotics, (fair because new content=more views=happy RUclipsr) but I’m just saying being realistic and showing more than, “these hunter glaives are amazing” and then it just shows a clip of the boss fight in onslaught with 2,000,000 glaives being thrown, (again I’m not trying to be rude to ANY RUclipsr that does so, it makes sense, it’s appealing to see and again CONTENT). It just would be nice to see stuff like that for people that aren’t the greatest at build craft, want a build to grind for or try, and/or just want to try something new because there tired of their own. On top of this, many people obviously appreciate meta builds new or not. When it comes down to it I understand many people are using the same meta builds as last season, but for people picking back up on the game, especially, it would be nice to have videos to help them get materials quicker, have a reason to get the materials, and have fun once they get the “meta builds” to then keep playing; which we all know we don’t want destiny to die which not saying that’s happening just saying new players having an easier experience with a game that many struggle to grasp at the beginning is always gonna be helpful. Also, I do get making multiple videos on multiple builds, it obv more helpful to spread out content for RUclips appeal. But again these could be builds that you’ve already made videos on and you just reiterate the fact that they’re good and emphasize what they’re good for specifically. Lastly, for this specific point, destiny ALWAYS has changes going on whether good, bad, weapons, armor, exotics, abilities, etc so knowing this just about every 3-5 updates you could already make a new one soon after them, possibly not but also possibly so. Speaking more deeply into the fact of people getting tired of builds or wanting to try out new ones, looking at long time players they obviously are cool to probably try whatever, most of them are gonna be way more into the meta and likely get tired of certain builds more often, just how it goes when continually playing one game and also it’s just human nature to get tired/bored of things. Now new players probably have no idea what the “meta build” is but when they see the first build that looks cool they probably just jump at it, that’s how I was quite some time ago when I first started and only played casually, so to have a specific videos that’s saying “hey you’re doing dungeons/grandmasters/onslaught? Use this! If you’re doing vespers you can trade this out for this and if you’re doing warlords you can trade this out for this”. You don’t even need to do dungeons necessarily, but most often these builds coming out are for onslaught and vespers as I said before. So then what do some people that want to try warlords and are new do about what they bring, not gonna work to great if they bring storms edge, duality, and a cold snap grenade to warlords. If they watch an older video on builds for warlords when it first came out (since that’s like all that shows up since it’s not new content anymore) and they end up using some kind of old meta that’s been nerfed 28 times and now it does less than half of what it showed on the video they watched (due to bungie’s nerfs) it’s just gonna be a bit rough. Now I’m sure you get the point, so take what I said and how I typed it with a grain of salt, it’s 4 am and this was just an idea. Obviously it’s your channel do what you want and if you read this fantastic, if you don’t again that’s fine it was just something on my mind and figured you were the perfect person to ask what you thought about it. Keep up the great builds, content, and the fun you bring into them. I’ve been watching you for about two years now on multiple RUclips accounts. So thanks for making these great videos and thanks for making the destiny grind, struggle, and bungie‘s ridiculousness easier to deal with man. 💙

20 dollars for the key. You get 2 dungeons for buying the dungeon key. So one dungeon is 10$ and the other is 10$ you cannot buy them separately it has to be bought together
