Sorry this took so long to get made and put out. I got hit with the 1-2 punch of traveling for work a few days after the dungeon released + this being probably the hardest solo flawless dungeon of all time. Felt like it was better to take my time and refine the loadouts/strategies to be borderline perfect even if that meant releasing this a week later than usual. Warlock & Hunter guides coming soon, will be testing everything for those runs on the stream twitch.tv/mactics ... stop by sometime ;D
I don't understand how you get 3 stacks of armor charge that don't decay? Even with a time dilation mod, my timer runs out on it before I get up to DPS
@@bokester2472having certain mods like weapon surges cause your armor charger to decay, take a second and look at your armor mods and on the description it will say "decays armor charges over time" Mactics did this without weapon surges
I had an easier time with this solo flawless than Ghosts. Ghosts just sucks trying to set up oryx. Especially if you're not running Wellock when you finally get to damage phase.
Tried a couple of times but got absolutely nowhere. Didn’t feel like trying it anymore but your guides, and your calm rational explanations actually got me convinced I can do it. You’re a legend man, don’t go away to Warframe, stay on Destiny! Games is actually so good right now regardless of all the negative publicity.
Mactics I have to say you are BY FAR the best Solo Flawless guide on RUclips. You are insanely precise and exact when it comes to giving direction you know all the details that could trip you up and get you killed and destroy your run. You were there for me to get me my ghosts of the deep and spire of the watcher solo flawless . I appreciate every video you make and cannot thank you enough. Keep them coming. We definitely need you out here.
Man, just got my solo flawless. I really don't know how I would've done that last room without you. Thank you! One thing I used I in the last encounter was a 1-2 punch Swordbreaker to quickly get rid of the clones, then switch to the gl for damage. Really helped in the lower rooms!
Anyone struggling with the first encounter timing for the big brig. Id suggest doing the heart room last since its the shortest distance/easiest distance to travel with the ball. Also if the ball despawns you don't wipe you just have to do whatever rooms remain to reset the ads and spawn another ball. So, if you get the big brig to very low hp and let the ball despawn you can go back to get another ball (from any room including heart since you just did all 3) and another big brig won't spawn since the other is alive allowing you to quickly melt the big brig that has no hp and dunk with plenty of time.
@@pieterroeloffs2667heart room is the easiest room to get the scanner into initially after grabbing it from the vandal in the spawn room.. so thats a thing too, i found doing heart 1st, brain 2nd and lung 3rd was my jam..
37:15 as a titan, you need to be a bit further back to get better DPS with glacial quake as you create more crystals to shatter in between the servitors. The crystals at the end of the wave are bigger. Henceforth bigger explosion and more damage. So probably like 2 feet further back.
While I didn't use the same builds on most of the encounters the strategies and positioning this guide provides was absolutely essential to getting my SF for this. The utility kickstart on third with rally barricade was literally the difference between failing or not for me, so if you are running Lorely definitely don't leave that out. Thanks, Mac!
i found another easy baby mode way to do final boss dps with solar titan: bring a mountaintop (any mountaintop, tho preferably one with frenzy), dragon's breath and put on ember of singeing and a concussive reload tonic. The scorch from the dragon's breath will constantly get your barricade off cooldown even before the restoration from the previous one wears off, then you shoot your mountaintop at the boss, which will weaken it and also reload your rocket if the scorch doesn't do it. Reapply the dragon's breath every time it wears off and just mountaintop spam in between.
I got my solo flawless after watching this video, took about 3-4 hours and 6 attempts, with the run taking 83 minutes. I can’t thank you enough for your guide. I wasn’t having too much trouble with first or second, but the third encounter is definitely a marathon, not a sprint. After you get the hang of how the encounters go, it’s pretty much smooth sailing from there. Some hints I learned: the smelly clones will chase you down like you owe them money, but they can’t jump. So, I find that if they’re camping the suppressor terminal in red or blue room, you can go to a back corner and kite them up the stairs, and then you can easily cut across and grab suppressor. There is no rush to shoot the panels fast in any of the encounters. Just take your time and make sure that you’re shooting the correct panels. No harm in double-checking. You can shoot the suppressor clone as soon as you drop it by holding shoot. The main Atraks has a big stomp that will jolt you, so avoid getting close - if you do get jolted, get to cover asap and wait for it to go away (around 7 seconds.) I had a run end when I didn’t realize I was jolted, and died due to the 4 clones chunking me down very quickly.
Bro, once again, you are a legend! With your guide and choosing the safest option (2 hours 30 mins) I was able to Solo Flawless the dungeon!! I actually was thinking I was just gonna solo only, but because of all the practice I was able to SF it!
As always your guides are excellent! I want to report a terrible bug I encountered at Atraks. The nuclear core during damage could not be dunked(said offline) I jumped down the tube, but when the entrance encounter started again suppressor didn’t work either(showed suppressor timer on screen but my grenade was present). Best part was I was probably on the last phase of damage. I ended up wiping there since the augment didn’t work. The only thing I can think of is I did absolutely take my time so I was probably at Atraks for maybe close to 2 hours. I tried again today and got the clear tho!
I was struggling so much to even solo this behemoth of a dungeon. This video provided the best insight I have seen in a long time. You helped me solo the dungeon. Thank you Mactics!!!!❤
This is amazing, struggle a bit this morning on last boss and this Will help me finish the seal and practise for flawless. This man says take your time.. other would say skill issue 😅 love you amazing videos! Great work!
Mactics has become one of the best guides in destiny history, all kinda started with Build battles and has been an absolute game changer. Look forward to seeing ur guides with Destiny 3 “Infinity” 😉
I really appreciate the guide especially for final boss, after a couple of attempts i was able to solo flawless this dungeon, thank you so much for the guide
For 2nd encounter damage, back up a little bit and use a Stoicism with spirit of star eater. The star eater buff was not adjusted for glacial quake (70%) and has no 'surrounded' modifier like synthos for the super buff (50%). Synthos work great if you are not a Titan main and want to keep it simple, but it pays to use star eater since you can be at the correct range and get the most shatter damage and buff damage. It might just save you a damage phase for no extra work.
I agree, I did the exact same thing as Mac (Tractor cannon + behomoth) but with Spirit of Star eater, and I was getting about 40% of his health in one phase, making the final 3rd phase just an easy clean up.
Great vid Mac, cant wait for warlock and hunter! I suggest doing the first room the opposite order as the room on the right is the shortest distance to the main room. Especially on other characters that can't do as much damage as t crash can to the final brig
Mactics I never solo flawlessed a dungeon up until I saw your solo flawless warlords ruin guide. And I followed the guide to the tee and I took me about couple attempts and I got it. And I have been trying since day 1 to solo flawless this dungeon and no videos have helped so in matics we trust. And I hope for the sake of my sanity this helps just as much as your WR guide.
A tip for the last encounter for those who may not have the best aim. If you want to throw your hammer at an enemy, punch it first to stun it so it doesn't move, so you can easily hit it with your mini hammer. Or punching the enemy will kill it, which also restores the roaring flames timer. If you want to be ultra safe, only punch enemies when you have the operator buff, when you have roaring flames active.
did the whole "say the numbers out loud so you know what they are". Naturally on the third room of the first encounter where I'm saying 1 and 5 on repeat, i for some goddamn reason shoot 1 cos its on my mind. LOVE IT
Something I found helpful was running a one-two punch shotgun for killing the clones a bit faster than zaouli's bane, but it's a bit harder to hit panels and generate ammo, so it may not be for everyone. Also, I've often found it difficult to blow up the supressor guy when the two clones are dogpiling you at the first part of the bossfight, so using lost signal's aoe turned out to be a very consistent way to do that.
1:05:25 there’s also a spot by one of the things you have to shoot. The one you have to shoot in the little container, to the right of the container between the wall and the container you can cram yourself in there and be safe. Worked for me and my friends who used it.
Hard looking forward to the warlock guide, happy Mactics still is around destiny here and there as I got back into Destiny last year due to ole Mac here
awesome video, lots of great information, however most of my attention was focused on what i believe to be the playscale lego star wars venator on your shelf

I don't have a lot of people I to play with regularly, so getting some solo tips is super helpful! Thanks for the awesome video!
Thanks for the video! It really helps to give perspective on what and when to do some important things. Question: just before the damage phase in the final boss, how do you keep the armor charge x3 for so long?
I like the strats for safety, only would recommend swapping for a shotgun in final room and swapping bag to lost signal for dps. Ammo isn’t a problem and is much safer taking out the clones instantly
I’ve noticed when I did it, if I messed up a room and lost the ball you can go to a room you previously did and get the core again from it. So if the long pathway is an issue just do a shorter one again.
Remember kids - say things 3 times for maximum retention. 1, 5, 1, 5, 1, 5. I also like to keep a laptop next to me with Notepad open and quickly type the numbers there, and play on my Xbox. My memory is trash (likely because I live in a state with legal pot), and this really helps for encounter 2 and remembering the two number pairs. Also remember that the cores have a 1 minute timer that they can be on the ground. If you pick it up and drop it, that timer does not reset. 1 minute on the ground, that's all you get before it's gone.
i feel like 8-9 Phases isn't to bad if we want to take our time to complete the dungeon, because i know i had to do the same with ghost of the deep before final shape, i'll 100% try to solo flawless this one as well as it's the last one i need to do solo flawless, so thank you for the guide and loadouts recommandations ! i'll make sure to give them a spin.
I believe the lightning strikes do arc damage since it procs arc conducter on the riskrunner. I ran that thing in contest mode the whole time except for the boss room and figured it out.
I'd recommend for those who are struggling with first encounter to do the snazzy oob it toke me a lil practice but now I'll be on 2nd encounter in like 8 minutes.
I literally had this up my solo run, wasn’t going for flawless but technically couldn’t afford to die. Took me 11hrs the boss fight is astronomically grueling.
You have to be quick about it but as soon as you enter the room with the enemies and the first power doors you run in quickly grab the first then run left and open the side and kill the captain before he teleports and you don’t have to go all the way down the hall and risk the servitor smoking you
@Mactics you should be using pulse grenade with facet of dominance so you get jolt on those servitors which will shatter your crystals more consistently. Don't leave it to crystal RNG
Another way I remember which ones are bad for the dunk step is I say which ones are good so for example I would say 1,3,5,6 but that’s just what works for me
A better location imo is in the back of the room crouching behind those short structures. Nothing can touch you and you can see every single op panel from here.
@@EggyWeggyIII unfortunately under the stairs you can’t see the panels. But boss can’t hit you. Marauders in the door can’t see you. And the radiation dudes will not come to you. Don’t gotta crouch or make yourself unseen. You just stand there. Brainless free safety
@@austingarner7740 I’d just suggest trying it out. During my solo flawless I went afk in this spot for like 5 min and absolutely nothing touched me. The very definition of brainless. Imo pressing one button is well worth making op easier. In any case, both these Strats are useless past op panel part bc you’re on a timer.
So I have tried solo a few times got flawless up until puppeteer. When it comes to glacial quake I like to stay behind one of the two "walls" in front of boss. I then take a slight diagonal angle if I am on right one I turn a bit left and vice versa. I noticed it allows to hit more consistently all of the servitors. Final boss will be the death of me lol I want that title
22:55 "we cant get a little cocky with our jumps so BE SMART here" *proceeds to slam into the wall at 1hp* 👁💋👁 ..... that was awesome haha ty for the guide though this is gonna be a rough one but i gotta do it
Any alternative instead of Grand Overtoure? I failed my flawless after 9 damage phases ( boss was at 1/3 of health). Charged volley always track everything but the boss😢
Not sure what I did wrong, but I got into the safe spot, dropped rally barricade, got shot enough that I had to pop healing grenade, then got shot some more before barricade came back. Tried to hit my super but I was too late. Did they patch the safe spot or something?
Update: I'm currently unable to survive in the safe spot more than about 1/10 tries. I either get physics'd back out of it entirely or I get shot to death. I might switch to warlock because this is simply not working.
I JUST DID IT but i died at the last boss on my 3rd dps phase but i decided not to give up and i fully cleared it but even though i died i still did it solo

I think this may help some of our guild actually attempt the solo flawless.
12:41 he's just a chill guy
Another way I remember which ones are bad for the dunk step is I say which ones are good so for example I would say 1,3,5,6 but that’s just what works for me
“…um…” 😂 Great video, helped alot!!
In red room, if you go to the right of the boss to the stairs by the augment terminal. Go under those stairs and it’s free safety
In any case, both these Strats are useless past op panel part bc you’re on a timer.
immaculate as always :)
I wish there was an extra optional mechanic in the boss room to give shelter from lightning strikes.
Thanks Mac and hope your doin well to
And right at 23 minutes. almost failed. ha-ha like dat. good vid bro
best parts are getting shot none stop and then the 9 phase boss so much fun!
22:55 "we cant get a little cocky with our jumps so BE SMART here" *proceeds to slam into the wall at 1hp* 👁💋👁 ..... that was awesome haha ty for the guide though this is gonna be a rough one but i gotta do it
I don’t own Zaoli’s. Could I use lost signal and sunshot instead?
Ive found that on some bosses you want to be right up on them. Then some other bosses, you want to be far away. I have no idea why
Any alternative instead of Grand Overtoure? I failed my flawless after 9 damage phases ( boss was at 1/3 of health). Charged volley always track everything but the boss😢
Crazy thing is if you didn’t claim the collectible it actually would’ve actually messed u up during your first damage phase
Your not crazy until you start answering your own questions
Thank you for not doing the nuke glitch on the first encounter. So many guides are not helpful since they just say glitch the nuke on that one.
Red room has been my wall. Even with max resilience with 2x arc and sniper resistance I still get melted.
I JUST DID IT but i died at the last boss on my 3rd dps phase but i decided not to give up and i fully cleared it but even though i died i still did it solo
How is glacial quake now?
Holy fuck, THANK YOU. I didn't do it solo flawless just solo, BUT, I've been running 6+ hour attempts to solo since day 1 and using this i finally beat it solo. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am doing solo and stuck in first two minutes.. I get the yellow I ID the plate that disappears i place yellow in storage i kill red grab red run and shot the plates that show white i store red and nothing happens no door opens.. what am I missing from the guide above? It just
opens fine for him.
Anyone know the shader on his Zaoli's? 👀
As a color blind person im begging please do a freeze frame on the good vs bad buttons. I literally cannot tell the differences and its basically just guessing whats right. Super frustrating
In my opinion the only thing hard about this dungeon for solo flawless would be the final boss encounter
Can you try out limbo in warframe?
Was watching last night and sorry about those people just bieng bullies for no reason
I didn't watch what had happened? Some people in chat being toxic?
@@OriginalBosss yeah, saying why should they donate and stuff and people demanding him not to talk and just play the game. Just rude af
@@oofmysoul140thats so lame 😭 ive been watching the whole vid listening closely because his advice is actually great lol
