  • Screamin' Centipede at Tom Foolerys Adventure Park just recently opened last month. This SBF Visa Big Air Coaster combines spinning cars with a hamster wheel car to offer both a family-friendly and thrilling ride experience. This is the signature coaster at the new Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, Texas, but is it as good as it looks? Find out in this review!

    I think these were hyped up as thrill rides, when really they are family coasters that can fit in smalls spaces. I rode this exact one and I actually really liked it, but I do wish it spun more

      I like the concept, but I think the layout needs more fine-tuning.

    I don’t know why everyone was so hyped up about the hamster wheel, it does the same motion as 4D coaster flipping

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  3 года назад +2

      Having ridden Arashi, I was optimistic this thing would flip uncontrollably start to finish like that. But it didn't unfortunately.

    • @annoyingperson2255

      Its probably because for small parks this practically two coasters in one thrill ride or family ride

      @@CanobieCoaster well arashi has lots of hills to flip it, plus the way the train is designed on arashi probably helps too

      @@MillenniumForceMan I wasn't sure if this would be one of those rides where it would keep flipping non-stop once it started, but that wasn't the case.

    Good to know that it's better if the car is off balance because I have no friends, so I'm always a single rider

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  3 года назад +1

      I think it depends what you like. Single riders tended to stall upside down longer.

    I think what I like most about the ride design is how simple the flipping mechanism is, there's certainly potential, but that upside down rough spot does sound unpleasant. But as is, it looks like a fun enough ride that FECs can afford to distinguish themselves from any local competition.

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  3 года назад +1

      I agree this ride should be marketable and appeal to a wide range of guests. I just hope they try different layouts.

    Take away the hamster wheel and you've got a perfect kids coaster for any park that doesn't have one like Nickelodeon Universe at American Dream in New Jersey, Six Flags St. Louis or Indiana Beach.
