Just a little warning. At 0:30, I perform a stunt where I rode a skateboard down a hill, hit a curb, and did a front-flip landing on grass, almost breaking my ass (did not mean to make those last few lines rhyme 😂). What I'm trying to say is, DO NOT TRY AND PERFORM THAT STUNT AT HOME! It can cause serious injuries and possibly death. Please do not do it.
On this episode of Pointless History, I'll go over the history of the very first signature skateboarding sneakers, the Half Cabs by Vans, as well as a brief history of how Vans started, Steve Caballero's involvement with Vans, the evolution of the Half Cabs, and the Half Cabs today. This video is in tribute to Paul Van Doren who passed away earlier in the year. God Rest his soul!

Hi! I don’t think they are. They are a pair of the Pro Model Half Cabs. I would look up Half Cab Pro Model, Black, White and Red.

reminder half cabs are quite narrow and bulky with lower board feel

They dont promote them because they always sell well. In fact, i think they are ugly and still have a pair. I think they look good when skating not walking.
