I remember one time we had 8 truckloads of concrete delivered and we asked for them to be spaced out 45 minutes apart. we laid an 8" heavy truck apron around a building and the trucks all arrived one after the other! Plumb wore our butts out! LOL
Great videos!! I worked for Starbird Concrete for 9 seasons out of Big Bend but we did jobs all over the surrounding area, houses for Don Belman and Tim Obrien builders also many other builders and tons of private work. It is my uncles business. My grandpa started J.C. Ewert Sons Concrete as well. But I wanted to move on from Concrete and now I am working at Kwik Trip lol so it is funny to see you go there each vid and then do Concrete. You are killing it out there! Keep up the great work!!
Finally, Eric gets the early bird bonus! That never would have happened last year. Thanks - from Victoria BC Canada. Just one question, why are so many people replacing their sidewalks?
To all the people commenting about how they replaced a “fine” side walk. Remember he said that this property is a rental property, so I would assume the home tenants complained about the sidewalks. This is probably why the owner of the house is replacing it just in case anything would to happened like a fall or something. So he won’t get sued for being the homeowner and the one responsible.
Ryan in reference to your rebar laps at 21:32, im assuming by the looks it's #3 bar.. I detail rebar day in and day out.. Good rule of thumb is 48 bar diameters.. Which means 48 x 3/8 = 18" Keep up the awesome work, love the videos..
I know he’s not talked about much, but I love Eric/Erik. I just feel like he is a good guy. I’ve been rooting for him since he was originally hired, and I’m glad he came back.

Ryan, why do you continually let Darryl make you look like a fool ? Is he that important to the channel? Many people have asked this, can you respond? If not, then don’t cry about it in the videos, just deal with it.
Some people have to move a lot for work reasons and getting into a mortgage for a year or so just isn’t smart business. Also a lot of the times, these big corporations will pay you a moving expense which cuts a huge chunk of your rent away. Maybe that’s what is being done here. Also, right now buying a house isn’t the smartest move. They could be riding out some rent until the market tanks, which it will, and then they will buy. They are rich for a reason.

He'll often tell them they can leave once they finish certain things, then Ryan is left alone.
@@KyleAXIII Too uptight. It was a joke. You daryl fanboys know he's not good for thr crew and that's why you get so upset even when someone is joking.
Yea right they are blood that make a whole lot of different, positive reinforcement is good to your soul.
@@KyleAXIII but he's unreliable.. and constantly breaking stuff..
He's been fired and rehired a dozen times. How many chances does 1 get.
The best video I have watched in all time! Class act Ryan!
Nothing like removing a perfectly good sidewalk. These rich people are funny.
They aren’t that rich if they decided to not redo the drive also
@@saljablo2767 theres nothing wrong with driveway too
@@kosan2875 I tend to agree but as Ryan said it has some cracks, chips, lippage and sagging.
You are such a good person Ryan. Truly. Thanks for brightening my day with your videos. An inspiration to us all
I’ve been saying to my labourer that hard work is good for the soul thanks to you . Keep up the good work 💪💪
U r the laborer
Am not even into the concrete or want to do it, I just enjoy watching your videos 👍🏻, I watch all!
Alot of people would love to have Daryls job he should recognize that and treat it like so
@@moemanncann895 both of the Daryl’s are lazy and don’t actually work
I think their may be an alcohol or drug problem. If so sad.
Come on! Daryl just lost his dad! They're most probably going through a tough time. I know he should've let Ryan know prior to being a no show but you've got to consider what a loyal employee and friend he's been over the years!
Heck yes, I'd move up there in a heartbeat to try to get on his crew. My boss and coworkers jus use me where I'm at. And not getting paid very well for this kind of work. It really frustrates me
@@chadatkins9053 get a new job, if you have experience no point staying
Man these 3 guys are a great team once Bugs comes back its gona be even better. I love Darrell hes just not reliable. I bet its nice having Marcels to step into that Bugs role when Bugs not there. Marcel is a straight Warrior. Coming from somone in recovery hes is a inspiration foreal.
Francisco and Eric argue like a married couple 😂
My husband has been doing concrete work for the last 20 years. And I’ve never had any interest in it AT ALL! But I’ve been binging your channel the last week, and I love it! One day I’ll be better than he is! 🤣 you guys are awesome.
Was curious on the walkway it looked real nice on camera. What was wrong with it hard to tell? The driveway looked much worse had its issues we could clearly see. Nice job anyhoo!
I believe he said it was sinking
settling unevenly.
@@hmg8915 Oh I didnt hear that Okay!
The footage of the baby birds is pretty amazing. Love that you appreciate the animals. Great vids pal, cheers!
My most toxic trait is thinking that after 231 videos of watching you, that I could remove and build a driveway by myself 💀🤣
Coming to work when you feel like it... "I always feel like it." BEST ANSWER EVER!
Blows my mind that guys that work 6 months a year can afford to miss work.
Awesome video. Too bad Darryl is a no show. Great crew!!! Nice work!!!👍🏻
Finally, Eric gets the early bird bonus! That never would have happened last year. Thanks - from Victoria BC Canada. Just one question, why are so many people replacing their sidewalks?
He's gotten it a couple times this year.
Great Job once again. Not sure why they wanted it replaced. but that just means some "Easy Money: for the crew. a fan from CA
I'm going with that also.
depreciation expense
Now I know why they call him Captain Marcel. Mans been killing it! Big respect to him!
Once bugs comes back, Darryl has to go. It’s amazing he gets away with so much
Monday, Thursday, Sunday….it doesn’t matter what day you upload, its always a good day when you do!
Ryan in reference to your rebar laps at 21:32, im assuming by the looks it's #3 bar.. I detail rebar day in and day out.. Good rule of thumb is 48 bar diameters.. Which means 48 x 3/8 = 18" Keep up the awesome work, love the videos..
how much do you charge for detailing?
Marcel can be sick, injured and still show up man. Love to see the dedication.
I know he’s not talked about much, but I love Eric/Erik. I just feel like he is a good guy. I’ve been rooting for him since he was originally hired, and I’m glad he came back.
Slacks too much
Your new style of videos are great!! I love them! The intro's are the awesome!
Show marcel this comment “ marcel you’re a soldier, good work on staying clean and grafting you’re an inspiration brother “ from Nottingham England ❤️
Why did they want that sidewalk replaced? Looked perfectly fine
People are bleeding money. It’ll all end soon.
I thought the same thing
@@saljablo2767 what does that mean
@@brewsviews7870 it means people have a lot of money and nothing better to do than fix stuff that doesn't need to be fixed
@@brewsviews7870 It means people are choosing to spend their money rather than saving it with the country being as bleak as it is right now and the future not looking too bright for their investments or the economy. So you may as well spend your money now and do what you want to do rather than sitting on it where whatever you saved won't be worth nearly as much in the future anyway.
I really enjoy the fact that you are such an animal lover. Good Work!!!!
Nothing even wrong with that old sidewalk🤣🤷♂️
ThTs what I thought too, but maybe there were some surface imperfections that didn’t show up well on video. Now it’s a Victory sidewalk, and should be good for many years.
I was thinking the same thing lol
Drive way was messed up a little but the walkway looked fine
Eric is someone I know I can be friends with🤣 I feel like I know em personally 😂😂 keep up the good work my boy💯
"If Darryl hasn't flipped it you won't flip it trust me"....my first time loading/unloading back in the mid 2000s on a POS wooden trailer with ramps half as wide as the bobcat tires I thought I was gonna Darryl the bobcat as well haha
Edit: you should get Autumn and Hannah in a CDL class ASAP lol
I love the before and after shots at the end, what a huge improvement from the old sidewalk!!
Is amazes me how much you let these guys get away with no call no shows
it is not easy to get any help now a days and you need to use them when they do show up, we use to have lots of people looking for work and big stack of apps on the desk and when you did not like someone work you fired them and now we have none on the desk so you deal with what you get a body, i live in the Florida Keys and everyone is looking for help, the cost of living is so high and also no place to rent that is cheap enough, here $16 to $21 per hour and can not afford to live here without people sharing a place, sometimes 3 people to a place, until government cuts off welfare checks to people who can work it will never end
Your girls are doing a great job with the editing. Love the opening
Hey Daryl, you have great boss and a crew that counts on each other. Wake up and smell the coffee!!
I think he’s an alcoholic or something. And letting his son sit around not doing nothing ain’t good for his health….Ryan needs to say enough is enough I can’t do it anymore. Good luck in your future endeavors….
Great job! Love your videos. I hope one day me and my brother have a crew like yours. Our company is RM Olson Concrete Inc out of palatine IL. You telling old stories reminds me of me and brother. We’ve done some crazy stuff together. Keep up the great work!
It's time for a change and an education for Darryl, time to get rid of him. He has no respect for you Ryan or his fellow workers. He's taking advantage of lack of consequences.
if you need someone who can use a jackhammer then i will be your guy I ussed a jackhammer everyday for about two years for the council we had to repair and build new roads and pathways here in the UK so yes I am very experienced in the use of the jackhammer. I did not find it hard to use at all i was about 17 years of age when i was using the jackhammer then at night time I was working a 12 hou shift in a bakery I had to Start haveing every other night off as it was killing my energy as you can imagine. but in the end I loved it esp when I got two wage packets every week lol easy money. haha hehe. anyway guys work hard live well and be safe and happy god bless you all and have a wonderful season ie work wise love all your videos I never get bored watching your videos. Mr Ryan I have been watching y'all along time now y'all do some outstanding work as well as have a outstanding crew y'all are wonderful to watch I have been in the concert business along time we do mostly commercial & residential jobs mostly large jobs but we take on small jobs in the spring or in slow times
Your a real nice guy Ryan but at some point for the business, for your sanity, you need to cut the Daryl’s or they need to get on top of it
Agreed.. I been doing construction for16 years and I would not be able to work with those 2.. my boss usually asks me about the new guys we get and if I say to get rid of them then they are gone

I can’t believe daryl keeps letting you down after everything you’ve done for him .
Some people take advantage of everything they can. Almost like a addiction. will never change until the person decides one day they will stop.
Nothing worse than tearing out by hand with wire mesh in it. Another clean job! Keep it up!
Why not just fire Darryl? I get he's a friend but you have to protect your business...
Good job momma Robin bird... Good job Ryan taping the nest up... Good job Autumn [bull floating...] I like the before and after result photos... Good idea...
Ryan, why do you continually let Darryl make you look like a fool ? Is he that important to the channel? Many people have asked this, can you respond? If not, then don’t cry about it in the videos, just deal with it.
Marcel deserves a bonus he has stepped it up since last yr
Renter ? Sheesh might as well pay a mortgage lol
Right how's your 3200$ a month rent
Some people have to move a lot for work reasons and getting into a mortgage for a year or so just isn’t smart business. Also a lot of the times, these big corporations will pay you a moving expense which cuts a huge chunk of your rent away. Maybe that’s what is being done here. Also, right now buying a house isn’t the smartest move. They could be riding out some rent until the market tanks, which it will, and then they will buy. They are rich for a reason.
@@saljablo2767 well said sir, makes sense
