This trailer is the real Tekken. The new one with the heat system and combos they show cased look pretty much like T7 with features of SF for the sake of "Aggression" focus!
Always been a fan of partial manifestation/partial transformation because it typically indicates a heightened degree of control over your inner demon (or creature)- incorporating that aspect of their growth into the core gameplay makes for potentially wild possibilities too- so I’m hoping that’s a key aspect of the game henceforth. They already flirted with it in TTT1 with Kaz/Devil so evolving it and exploring it further is only natural.

@@joMan1060 the animation even feels very different, what we got at TGA feels like tekken 7. When the character is hit and is mid air the stance they do looks exactly like tekken 7.
It's been over 27 years since I came across Tekken 1 in a local video game parlour in my hometown. Us bunch of hillbilly kids from a small town in India didn't know how to pronounce Heihachi, so we called him "Hee-chee-chee". Fond memories.
I think it's such a nice contrast that Kazuya and Heihachi's final battle went on a fire filled vulcano, but here Kazuya and Jin's last battle is going on the middle of a storm!
Definitely a strong possibility with Tekken being a game known for being canonically correct and only one other anime movie that I know of besides the new Netflix bloodlines this year is going to go to Namco to be nominated for best game series
This does not look anything like actual gameplay. Actual gameplay visuals looks a little bit enhanced Tekken 7. Also there are so many annoying effects with each move. Here in trailer it looks plain yet effective and more impactful rather then just shoving your screen with rainbow colours. You see more effects on the screen rather then the actual characters and the arena.
As a fan of the series, I still think Dark Resurrection was the highest point of the series - but still, the games have been consistently high quality. 2 of my mains Asuka and Bryan will most likely return, but Heihachi? 😭

High hopes for this one. Mainly for the entire cast to be on equal footing when it comes to the narrative, this time around. As epic as the Mishima Saga was, it excluded 80% of the roster and demoted their stories to more or less side quests. Up to Tekken 6, the entire ensemble felt like they were actually competing in a tournament. Each character seemed to have an equal chance of winning and we'd see the end result. It felt great to climb to the top with my fighter, regardless of the ending. Whether it was decisive, suspenseful, or even silly, I generally felt like I earned that conclusion, even when the canon of the next game refuted it. Tekken 7 wanted to explore and conclude the feud between Heihachi and Kazuya. And it was a great experience, all around. But the Character Episodes generally feel like separate short stories with no effect to the main one or each other, rather than a bunch of stories that conjoin at the tournament, as done in previous titles. All in all, Tekken 7 is a masterpiece in its main narrative. But those outside the usual Mishima circle just needed a little more love. I'm holding out for Tekken 8 to make it so.
Hopefully we see more about Jun too. I would've loved to see the sub stories they wanted to explore in Tekken 5 but these were dropped. But hopefully we also have something more from the non Mishimas. I'm rooting for Paul Phoenix here, the man that was on par with the Mishimas without being one and posed a threat to Ogre.
Man, this sounds crazy. I loved the part that Jin has control of his demonic powers without turning into a Devil Jin is excited to see this in gameplay🔗🔥
Can’t wait to see his super devil form though. Plus an interview Harada said the chain breaking at the end symbolizes Jin has finally come to grips with his powers.
Guess by remembering his mom would finally be the way to help Jin take control. In Max Dood's words, basically Street Fighter 6 Ryu where he now controls Evil Ryu and uses Evil Ryu moves in his regular move set.
Yknow, comparing this to the mortal mom at 1 trailer makes me appreciate this one even more. It’s so simple and beautiful, no BS, no padding. It just shows you exactly what you came for
I am literally crying right now. Tekken is one my main inspiration to practice Martial Arts and grow. If the gameplay is anything like Tekken 7 then we have a masterpiece.

I think what they will do for Jin is kinda like what they did for Claudio. Like his semi devil form will appear for certain moves like Claudio's starburst moves and the devil form will disappear when he hits the move.
That sounds interesting.....

And Tag 2.
Well said.
Also street fighter x tekken had jin and Kazuya access part of the power with the wings manifesting as dark energy for the ultras
My boy got philosophical. Respect.
Kazuya can already control his while Jin is still coming to terms
The game better look like this or we need to boycott. This looks 10x more impressive than the recently released trailer. Whatever that was recently released was all over the place and not even a 1/4 as visually pleasing
this is the most important comment on youtube
It looks same. This is like 10 seonds of gameplay and the rest is cinematics.
Lol ..its look almost the same... this is Ultra graphics, the trailer is Mid graphic settings.

They are the storm that is approaching.

I feel like the leap with Tekken 8 feels like comparing Tekken 3 with 5!
Definitely a strong possibility with Tekken being a game known for being canonically correct and only one other anime movie that I know of besides the new Netflix bloodlines this year is going to go to Namco to be nominated for best game series
Interesting to see the difference between this and what's in the game
Execly. That teaser is superior or current game. The ilumination, shadows, Water... Everything is batter in this teaser
I've been playing Tekken since Tekken 2 and I have a feeling that this is going to put us at the edge of our seats

Tomorrow is December 8. I cant wait to see new trailer!!!!
how is it?
"Masterpiece"......??
Hopefully we see more about Jun too. I would've loved to see the sub stories they wanted to explore in Tekken 5 but these were dropped. But hopefully we also have something more from the non Mishimas.
I'm rooting for Paul Phoenix here, the man that was on par with the Mishimas without being one and posed a threat to Ogre.
Agreed with this, hoping its more well rounded. Some characters like eddy especially got scraps.
"Each character had an equal chance at winning"
Ah yes, Panda was always just a hair's breadth away from winning it all
@@bigboydancannon4325 Considering what happened in irl Tekken 7 tournament, that happened for real. A Panda player won a whole tournament.
@@resolvedfate1295 Yeah, he doesn't use a beam. He channels the power into his fist and attacks the way a regular human would. Unlike Kazuya
Meh
My only problem is that the final battle starts with a flying kick clash instead of this traditional right cross clash.
The rest is totally fine.
They did that because they wanted to use right cross clash for the final blow

I hope Heihachi somehow makes it into the game. He's my favorite character.

Nah that would ruin the whole game,
That’s what they should have as dlc and other characters as unlockables. Just make him non canon. Just have his move set and reused voicelines.
