Because Kazuya had 100% faith in himself and his own power before he ever transformed to devil. Kazuya has a stone mind, thanks to heihachis training and upbringing. A loss of anything, does not matter to someone like Kazuya.

Tekken for two straight games made final boss fight look and feel important like a boss fight should. Jin finding himself outside of his blindness for revenge and Kazuya becoming the man he hated most of his life. Definitely, a great storyline preformed correctly.
I don't think Kazuya becomes Heihachi. He's quite clear that he seeks power or fights to continue living. He has a better basis to be an ass. Literally his whole family and G-Corp tried killing him before he did anything to aggravate either of them. So he seems more like an extremely corrupt business hellbent on his survival...

I'm glad Jin has finally embraced his gentler side. I was worried he was essentially going to become a villain protagonist like his father. Gratned, it took, what, five or six games to get this far, but it's better than history repeating itself.
Jin Kazama finally remembered who he really was… the young man who everyone learned to love as the protagonist from Tekken 3 onwards. I like how Tekken 8 doesn’t shy away from how OOC Jin was in Tekken 6 (Seriously… the whole Jin turned evil thing felt like such bullcrap) and this whole thing is Jin making up for the mistakes he’s made, remembering that he’s more than what Heihachi and Kazuya made him into… he’s what his friends and Jun taught him to be as well. Love to see Jin redeem himself at last. (Must be the era of hero redemption because this also happened to Liu Kang in MK11 before he rebooted the series again)
@@maxrichards3881 True, but no one ever truly makes that distinction because everyone still calls Tekken 6 the game that turned Jin “evil”. (Even if it is inaccurate)
Its kinda fitting that Kazuya survived and (probably) will have a redemption arc since even after they tried to justified Heihachi's action, in the end, the true villain and the most evil Mishima was him alone after all, Kazuya and Jin were merely his victims.
Heihachi can never redeem himself from his sins. He was power hungry since the beginning imprisoning Jinpachi a good men into the depths of Hohmaru with no food and water. Kazumi knew Heihachi was an asshole
@@klockenberg2299Heihachi is the whole reason Jin even unlocked his devil gene, and put him on the path to remove it indirectly. Jin's method was his own, but every prior action put him into that position by the hand of Heihachi. Kazuya's got a similar situation, despite an entirely different and more malicious motive.
We know Jin and Kazuya obviously lost their devil forms and now Reina has her own but Jin never said anything about his angel form so it'd be cool if he can still use that... Only issue is he says both him and Kazuya are just mere humans now
Jin never had angel factor in blood before t8 to start with, haven't you seen the sequence where jun gives power to jin, jt is that which made his gene fuse with devil and angel
Angel is just purified Devil. Devil disappearing means Angel disappears. Though Jin's still a Kazama like Jun and Asuka so he should be able to use it against Reina's Devil.
@@klockenberg2299 i hope so, even if its a weaker version, like how its sorta the same as true devil kazuya... Also i dont rlly see anyone else keeping up with devil reina without devil/angel forms
I'm just relieved heihachi is gone because I was nervous if Tekken 8 would somehow bring him back and be the unwelcome third wheel to Jin vs Kazuya hype fight
@klockenberg2299 I know and it was the petfect end to his whole character, and pray going forward he just stay as a non canon appearance. But that's me I know kazuya ass kept coming back and his old ass survived a damn bombing 💣 to the face so I was a little nervous/annoyed if he somehow survived lava.
I kinda felt bad for Kazuya. Heihachi took forever to die in Tekken 7's campaign and here Jin isn't going down no many how many times they fight. He can't catch a break lol
Kazuya was kicking Jins ass a majority of the fight lol with over 10 cutscenes where Kazuya was victorious in most of them, with his own alternate ending what more do you want
Really appreciate this story mode puts so much detail like Jin's fighting style changes every round (Mishima x Kazama Style), different Rage Arts, and cutscene to gameplay transition (MKX inspired) Hell they even made NPC's character render and not reusing them (Azazel, Angel Jin, Human Kazuya, etc.)
Jin finally reached his "enlightenment" and now has reached his peak just like Ryu did back in SF5 because damn he's not afraid to use either Mishima and Kazama style now and the homage to his TK3 movesets and the Kazama style used by Jun and Asuka? Just P E A K... It's kinda lacking in Jun's involvement in this plot but seeing the last part... I think the DLC's will fill those holes soon?
With how much they hyped up Jun pre-release I was constantly expecting her to show up in every chapter in the second half or so, but hey at least that final tease shows Jun’s gonna be more prevalent in whatever story they make next, whether in DLC or Tekken 9
The difference is simple: Jin decided to stop making excuses and build a future for himself and those he cares for. Kazuya is still stuck in the past, letting his father's ghost haunt his life. If he’d had walked away from Hehachi as Jin did, he could have had a better life with Jun and Jin
It does look like the Eden scene where Seiya or the other Pegasus saints awoken their divine clothes. Partly to the theme, the wings, the colour and the flowery surroundings. You can definitely made the connection since it was very similar.
36:27 is the best part. Got to love two endings that caused people to argue in the comment section lmao Totally they took the MK 11 Aftermath route. Dorya.
The difference is you can’t play as Kaz. So people won’t pay that ending any mind. As it is obvious Jins is Canon. You could at least play as Shang Shung.
My question is that how is she a devil? Did Heihachi's experiments work or something like he finally got Orge's blood to make some person with that power in the modern day?
@@d-jams possible reasons - He clapped someone that harbors Devil Gene like Kazumi - Devil Gene experiments just like the dude on the Blood Vengeance movie - If He got Orge's power then it's not Devil Gene since Orge isn't related to Azazel in anyway
He didn't laugh and found no satisfaction. In the bad ending, sure he smiled but in the end he was pretty upset that he lost his Devil Gene. Also Kazuya felt more alone than ever and it's the opposite of Jin's ending where he reunited with Xiaoyu and everything felt happy.
Jin becoming angel is like ichigo becoming into his dangai form then the final getsugatensho with the exception that they (Jin and Kazuya) continued to fight after losing their respective angel and devil powers.
This is a better showing of the strength of bonds than any mainstream shounen anime today. Is it something that's been done a thousand times before? Yep. Was it awesome anyway? YES.
I shed a tear of joy as I watched this. I haven't played or seen any content since tekken 5. and I started playing Tekken with Tekken 2 and tekken 3 and tekken Tag.. so the nostalgia was so heavy. Tekken still has that epicnes about it. it still has that thing that puts you on the edge of your seat..
Devils were once angels until they are purified again. That is why JIn can transform into an angel because he inherited the Kazama Clan's power of PURIFICATION from his Mother Jun Kazama.
@@tuxeee meaning Jin and Kazuya feud is over but not the mishima saga. Jin will likely start a new journey with Xiaoyu and kazuya might return as a redeem mishima with the help of Jun. Reina might face off aganist kazuya and Jun but not Jin.
He wasn't turned into a good guy though? They literally show that Kazumi was trying to punish Heihachi for being evil, I don't know where you guys got this Idea that she was evil and Heihachi was the good guy from that interaction
@@bloody4558 Pretty much. You could argue that by that point, he was the LESSER evil compared to Kazuya, but he was still trash. He might have deluded himself into thinking otherwise (given he seemed to blame Kazumi trying to kill him on her devil gene, rather than....you know.....him being trash. Lmao), but it doesn't change the reality that he was an awful person who did bad shit his whole life, and created most problems in the series. Like, if anyone thought he was a good guy from that, I'm confused as to how they reached that conclusion. He was just a tool who didn't want to acknowledge his own shortcomings and blamed everyone else for the things that happened instead. He wasn't being painted as a good guy, just a flawed person who in his own mind didn't think he was THAT bad.
I have a feeling Jun will awaken the human emotions Kazuya abolished when he took reign over the devil gene, since it’s been destroyed from him by Angel Jin. By spending time with her and remembering there are good sides of life besides power, control, “and a very fleek shoe collection,” he will no doubt have to acknowledge Jin, since he literally defeated him in this game.
Here my oppinion : 1. Jin and devil jin bond similiar to ichigo and zangetsu 2. Angel jin looks like saint seiya character 3. Jin finally use mishima and kazama martial arts 4. Jin rage arts evolve to punch and rider kick 5. Devil reina appear
I was feeling that Fallen Destiny was the same meteor of Into the Stratosphere that crashed back on Earth lol. By the way, this was so epic man, holy shit. I wonder if they will do a Composite Jin Kazama for DLC Him doing Kazama Style, Mishima Style, and Kyokushin Karate was so badass 😊
It's also a homage to JJBA Battle Tendency's final battle between Joesph and Kars. The land they were on got shot into the Atmosphere, partially in space, and then fell back to Earth.
I think they should make an option to choose Jin's fighting style at the select screen. 5 options: pure karate, karate+devil moves, pure Mishima style, pure Kazama style and the last one - style mix.

@@trevinodude
Jin was never evil, he was a proactive anti-hero.

Kazumi knew Heihachi was an asshole
you can be both victim and oppressor smh Kazuya and Jin attacks people that has nothing to do with Heihachi
@@klockenberg2299Heihachi is the whole reason Jin even unlocked his devil gene, and put him on the path to remove it indirectly. Jinpachi was locked away after kazumi’s death. The hachijos were going on prophecy, and they unwittingly fulfilled it.
I just love jin using every tekken series movement for him
We know Jin and Kazuya obviously lost their devil forms and now Reina has her own but Jin never said anything about his angel form so it'd be cool if he can still use that... Only issue is he says both him and Kazuya are just mere humans now

Angel is just purified Devil. Devil disappearing means Angel disappears. Though Jin's still a Kazama like Jun and Asuka so he should be able to use it against Reina's Devil.

The difference is simple: Jin decided to stop making excuses and build a future for himself and those he cares for. Kazuya is still stuck in the past, letting his father's ghost haunt his life. If he’d had walked away from Hehachi as Jin did, he could have had a better life with Jun and Jin
Good point but if Kaz had walked away, Heihachi would never stop hunting him. Kazuya would've had to confront Heihachi eventually.

This is a better showing of the strength of bonds than any mainstream shounen anime today. Is it something that's been done a thousand times before? Yep. Was it awesome anyway? YES.
Even after losing their alter forms, Jin and Kazuya are still badass fighting with their raw abilities.
I shed a tear of joy as I watched this. I haven't played or seen any content since tekken 5. and I started playing Tekken with Tekken 2 and tekken 3 and tekken Tag.. so the nostalgia was so heavy. Pretty much.
