I dont understand why he looks so different though, maybe because Isu Odin is dead as we know it?
The Odin Eivor sees is based on their conception of their beliefs, not the 'real' Odin. So, the more they take control the more Odin would be perceived as something resembling themselves.

I've called them "warriors creed" both on a narrative level and gameplay. In origin, odyssey, Valhalla you are literally warriors who moonlight as assassins. "Bullet" sponge enemies with heavy emphasis on fighting not assassinating.

Are y'all literally forgetting all this shit happened because Odin didn't keep his word? Loki never intended for his child to hurt odin, or do any harm to Asgard, he knew the giants would do no damage to asgard as it's protectors were mighty
he simply needed a distraction to keep his son safe, Odin lied constantly and was the reson Tyr's arm was ripped off, Fenrir meant no harm and was rather fond of Tyr, but in binding him broke their promise
despite what y'all think, Loki was never the villain, yea in viking times he still holds a huge grudge, but can you blame him?
Odin was the villain. It's very hard for people to get that but it's true at least you see that. I mean odin was the tyrant of the isu world. He started a civil war with the isu durning the 10 year human war. Used humans and punch bags or ammunition. In the DLC's it's stated that multiple times the isu gaints we're just trying to fight back against odin because he was such a tyrant. Plus him and Juno work together and they respected each other's power they were both dark tyrants of their times.
Loki I believe is an antagonist as well. In my opinion I don't blame him. His son was the chosen one to defeat the dark Lord and that made odin pissed off. I thought of it is just a giant power struggle between the isu. Of who would be the next ruler or who would be this and who would be that.
Loki was plotting against Asgard since before he tried letting Fenrir in. A note you read states his loyalty is to Jotunheim. Both Odin and Loki had their reasons, but I know Loki was the one who started the entire thing with the Builder

Hiriokon or juno Is the main protagonist of the entire series so logically. When she was in it she was also the main villain.
So in total you had three villains.
But he's protagonist in Mirage
This doesn't explain anything. Just sets up the narrative of Basim's story. Maybe then we'll learn what Eivor was doing in Vinland, and what Odin needed them there for. We're made to think the Basim/Loki have orchestrated this whole thing but I think that he’s just another pawn.

This is the Odin i wanna try and remember, one who learned from his mistakes, who gained wisdom through others teachings. Not what God of War painted him as. Look at him in the way that even our gods can learn from mortals.
Maybe Jehovah took over peoples beliefs in the future, but maybe even he will die out in the future belief of a new god. Just remember the good qualities of the gods we know and love.
I do love this interpretation of Odin but the god of war interpretation is good also. This version and GOW version is like two Sides to the same Odin, in the real myth because he is neither bad or good honestly if u merge AC Odin and GOW Odin u kinda get the true Odin more or less

my first time playing Assassin's creed valhalla and I think I finished all of asgard I got to then end when you find out that the king was a member of the order of ancients. then nothing no ending I didn't know what to do I traveled around I got irritated and stopped playing it. I got back into it and the data was corrupt so I had to delete it and reinstall I had to restart the game. I just got to the point where you find out about the king did the married part and then went to the kings hidden room

I truly wish that Layla was not screwed over as badly as she was. But instead of giving us a complex and driven woman was a lead they practically Fridged her and brought back a man who is clearly a bad guy!
Basim/Loki only cares about bringing his wife Alethia back to life from the Staff of Hermes and finding his lost children. That’s almost the exact same plot as they tried to do with Juno, and that was resolved COMPLETELY OFF SCREEN IN A COMIC! Honestly I was hoping that the Assassin’s would wisen up and instead of just letting him roam free among their ranks actually restrain Basim/Loki, use his DNA to find out when and how Loki took complete possession of Basim’s body, bring the real Basim back, destroy Loki and Alethia, and find a way to bring Layla back to life.
No... that might be part of his motivation. Not all of it. He does truly believe in the Assassin's Creed but he ALSO believes that Odin/Eivor was due some payback for the nonsense he did to Loki/Basim's children. Remember: Canonically Basim was the first to awaken his Isu memories.

And also it’s been clearly established that Loki had completely taken over Basim’s personality at the end. And the ONLY reason Loki would have to want to meet William Miles face to face would be to get close enough to kill him. But Bill saw that coming and forces Loki to give his blood so they can search him memories to find his real motivation.

It's a glitch. My golden eyepatch also gets removed during certain cutscenes. But the original black leather eyepatch always stays on.

Two things that bothered me about the ending.
The designers tailored parts of it for the female Eivor only.
The ending was so disjointed and parts of it were a real pain in the ass to figure out, like where the hell Alfred’s study was.
Okay I can actually understand Eivor wanting to leave and be by herself to learn everything from Odin but what I can’t understand is 1. When did she realise what was actually happening because in the temple she was confused as hell and still thought they were just visions. 2. She went to do all this learning but didn’t leave anything behind for the information to be passed on. Shame.
In another note, William Miles is way too calm talking to an Isu considering the past experiences he’s had…
I still dont understand why the norse ISU didn't look like the greek ISU. Or why they didnt call themselves ISU at all. Like how did alethia get in contact with loki or in love? I have so many questions.

Eivor sees the ISU history with a "viking lore" lens because it's what makes the most sense to him. These are visions, not simulations, after all.

I Think ist still a good ending with all the nostalgic memories while saying goodbye to your friends and the epic scene with the ezios family track. Still worth it

@@HyperAhmedX21 I just guessed since previous installments you simply lay on a bed and instantly get the memories. Like in black flad they re-designed the animus from a bed to a bunch of visors hooked up to computer monitors. Also when you die in previous games it's says desynchronize like as if the memory it's self was synchronized to the brain in order to transfer the memory.

They are coming out with 4 more games with mirage being one of them
ac codename red coming out next year and its another rpg type ac game set in feudal japan where they already said were gnna have two protagonist where the female character a shinobi assassin and the male character gnna have a warrior type combat most likely gnna be a samurai but i hope their gnna be apart of the brotherhood unlike eivor and kassandra where they were never part of it and i hope the parkour and stealth is much better in that game since ubisoft said its gnna be the first true next gen ac game for this generation plus its also based on characters you would think have faster reflexes and movement compared to bayak,kassandra and eivor who seem more like brute warriors from their background and culture unlike japans focus on bein quick and precise in combat instead of being brutal and messy

Either they gonna make him relive his past so Basim will regain control over Loki and be a supporting character after that or another assassin will experience his life through animus so the assassin's will understand his intentions. Either way I think we're gonna get a new protagonist. And let's hope he/she gonna be better than Layla

It was confirmed last year I wanna say that female Eivor is canon, another small issue I had was they changed my Eivor's costume for this final chapter.
@@TheNikobellic1 No drama too... But I honestly find those decision of theirs to create a "canon" character a very idiotic thing. It's simply a lazy dev approach, after all there is the mc of AC:Odyssey that has a legit influence in modern times in the end (and having the same sex that you are playing). But somehow they changed their mindset of player choice and put Cassandra in Valhalla (in the crossover update) and female Eivor in the ending without player freedom to choose who is its character...
So fucking stupid.
Having a female evior out of nowhere after 120+ hours made me so confused.
It only destroys the story telling for no actual reason.
Even more annoying after I was playing as Cassandra when they afterwards say that the brother was the "canon character"

There is a letter in evior room addressing her as daughter of whatever her father's name was ( I forgot) in Norse. This is also the reason basim thought sigurd was Odin because evior was female. Also this why u can choose male or female anytime but if u let animus decide it's female for most part and male for her memories as Odin.
@@pratardanhegde5776 The problem is to have a canon inside the game. This is a game, nothing really stop them from having two parallel dimensions with male or female mc. Out of the game, with merchandise or complementar material, they can use a canon and that is not a problem and probably is even better to do with canon. But inside the game is a different story, if they would create such poor design for male eivor, would be better to only have female eivor.

Please can anyone explain me the ending in simpler words
throughout the games you learn visla Asgard and Animus anomalies that Eivor- Sigurd and Basim are all descendants / they carry the souls of ancient gods. Odin is /in eivor. Basim : loki, Sigurd - Tyr since they both have only 1 arm.
Basim (loki) thought Sigurd was the re incarnation of Odin and he wanted revenge for Odind actions on Fenrir, the wolf. Fenrir is Lokis child.
Basim/ loki reakize that Odin is actually Eivor and try to fight you at the end obviously. He lose, but once hes in the Isu machine, he lures Layla to comes to her. he traps Leyla in the machine in his place and Basim/ Loki now is in control of Eivor and not Layla.
So,, you can make an argument that Layla was manipulated all along by Loki spirit' / Basim all because he wants to optain her Staff of Hermes to heal his son Fenrir and ressucitates his wife the ice giant from Jonuhtheim.

then we see Basim looking into the Animus' future for the memories of future Eivor./Odin. Eivor sets out for Vinland ( america) and eventuallu dies there. thats why his corpse his found in america in present-day next to Layla cabins. So Basim waits from the 9th century to the 21st century inside the animua machine and now in the next game Basim will be the main character that we will control

I’ll be honest I didn’t like this ending. It’s just I don’t like that he left everything else
He basically did the opposite of the original ending and chose Odin over everyone else. If he came back to his people that would be different but this is Eivors final resting place.
Where will eivor go? What do you think? Egypt? America? Japan? Konstantin? Middle East? I think this was female. And I think she went Peru.
Shame i will never see the ending myself. I can' t enjoy Valhalla. Tried it often enough. The last proper AC was Syndicate.

You have to finish every quest that's releated to the story. (meaning conquer all england etc) then you get a 3 or 4 locations quest where Basim infiltrates anomalies which shows Eivor's last moments before she(Eivor is a woman in original) begans her journey to "find herself".
(conversations between Guthrum, King Alfred etc) this is the last quest.

played the base game and sadly it's one of the worse gameplay experience and really bad story compare to every other AC game. Going from odyssey to this was huge downgrade, so couldn't bother playing DLCs. this video helps a lot before Mirage drops.
