I'm not interested in grief groups , since I have lost my son to go to a group and just sit and dwell on that and talk about it right now Is not my favorite thing... I get emotional in a very private way. But when I know somebody else is grieving from their loss? I get real huggy and teary eyed with them. It's the strangest thing
I just looked into a grief group. It begins in a few weeks. I’m not into groups and am not a group person really but I’m trying to change lots of things about myself and my life because my life has been turned upside down and I need a reset. I know, too, that I don’t like bonding with people on loss and defeat/ feeling like we’re connecting on the ways we’re victims and have joining a club (of suffering) that I never wanted or signed up for so I’m really not sure if I’ll do this. Will see
@@noble604 but grief groups can be very helpful to some! Everyone is so different ...do what is going to be best for your "healing" journey...take care💖
RF1972 - they are highly recommended, you’re right about that. And I need to branch out intentionally and try new things. I’d rather pick up a hobby and meet new people who do that but this starts soon and I can give it a try. Thank you.

Totally understand! I'm not really a group person either. But my empathy is through the roof.

I guess the worst that can happen is that you don't like it and you stop going! It definitely takes some trial and error figuring out what helps. ❤️

brooke - you’re right. I’ve heard good things about the groups. I won’t know for myself unless I go. I agree.
