Man Utd fan here... Justice for the 96. Never buy the S*n. This Mancunian heart is with you all. No--one should ever go to a football match and never return. #JFT96
Another Manc here, another Man Utd fan... the injustice of the Hillsborough disaster will stay with me forever. Peace and love to the families of the 96 this Christmas. XXX
i read the reports at University, i tell u the police, Thatcher and the s** are completely repugnant! as a football fan who went for years, my heart goes out to Liverpool, a great city full of life & humour, culture & talent, you suffered so much but none of us will forgive or forget those injustices. 💯🙏
To all those who say let it rest, remember this - the Hillsborough story is not just one of tragic loss. It is a sickening tale of slander, deceit, institutional corruption, corporate exploitation, public revulsion, and above all, unnecessary and tragic loss of human life. JFT96 is about more than just memory. It is about justice and truth.
I'm a Chelsea fan and I just bought the single. The unfortunate families deserve all the support they get and much more for the horrific tragedy and injustice they suffered.
At last , we are finally getting justice for the Hillsborough Disaster, the road has been too long, bless all those who care about it all and gave their time for this music video. Esther and ben
Our not-for-profit works to find jobs for ex-offenders, and there is no better music to describe how we feel about them. Can you tell us whom to contact to get permission to use this recording in our public service campaign?
Was listening to this song this morning from a lad who grow up in Liverpool and lost people I was thinking today about justice and the injustice that post officers had suffered were there is injustice always fight for justice
It's 2020, but even now listening to this fills me with so much emotion, it brings back the memories of my fellow Liverpool fans losing their lives, it also brings bad even sadder memories of my own brother dieing of cancer at only 33, god bless each and every one of them, Justice For The 96 and Love For A Brother
This brings me it tears every time, I try not to listen unless I’m alone. It’s always been a favourite song of mine, but in this context… I can’t take it JFT 97 ❤❤❤❤❤
It doesn't matter how long it takes, right is right and wrong is wrong. Shame on those who sought to avoid and pervert justice and didn't have any human decency for their fellow man. For you the day of reckoning is near. This song illustrates the meaning of true love and character on so many levels. If this song moves you to tears and emotion like it does me then you can be sure you are a human being. I dedicate this song to my brother, for the way he has carried me along my road.
I just watched this today , so tragic , but what an amazing group of musicians , & what a powerful & truly beautiful song & we really need this now in 2025 ❤ - Thank you & Take Care ! ROBBIE - Australia .
I wasn't alive at this moment of time but, when my dad showed it put a tear in my eye because all evertonians and scousers dead. Hope everyone who lost their family can live life peacefully. myself, I'm a liverpool supporter. Don't go to a lot of matches but definitely watch them. Justice for all of the 96 sleeping peacefully right now please pray for them. Thank you so much for who actually made this music vid: Justice collective. You've inspired me to believe in justice all around the world :)
To all that are posting bad comments, get a reality check. I list a good close friend at Hillsborough. Never a day goes by that I don't think of him. R.I.P. never to be forgotten.
+Ben Hammett just for correction everyone needs to unite behind #prayforparis nobody deserves to perish while enjoying the music they love. Or while they are with friends and loved ones having a peaceful night out. Thoughts should be with the family and friends of those affected. x
Its nice all the families of the 96 are in everybodys thoughts this christmas after so many years of injustice. i hope you all find some comfort from this song
A brilliant collective effort for 96 INNOCENT football fans who lost their lives going to watch a team they love play a game of football...no matter which team's badge you wear on your shirt, we all share the same love for the beautiful game and this must never be allowed to happen again. Justice for the 96 R.I.P - an NUFC fan
I was there that day and the memory of what happened will stay with me for all of my life. Rest in Peace now the 96 and may this beautiful song make it to the top of the Xmas chart
I remember the first game back after the break in respect of all those who died that day. It was a home match against Everton; I remember the wreaths given to the Everton fans by the Spurs fans. An eerie silence that befell the refs whistle at kick off, something I had never experienced before. It was fully 20 minutes before there was any noise from either sets of supporters, no one knew how to react. Like thousands in the crowd it brought tears to my eyes then, as it is now thinking about it.
Mel c is such a good singer. Love her harmonies too. I lost a good friend that terrible day. Will definately buy this. Such a fabulous performance by everyone. Well done to u al!!!
Still just as great as when I first heard it over a year ago. That terrible afternoon in 1989 still awaits justice and we shall never forget or rest until justice is done.
Way late to the game but my reaction then would not have been as appreciative and thankful as I am today to hear this awesome rendition of this timeless song, thank you! 🙏❤️🤙
my uncle dies in the hilsborough disaster and this is a great song with strong meaning as it was the last song james aspinall gave his mother before he died
Man City fan here. Downloaded this from iTunes, and I hope millions more do the same. I hope you find justice for your loved ones. Every single person in the land that loves football is behind you. R.I.P. 96.
this is so moving, I just watched it 3 times in a row - I'd never heard it before. I am from the US and really only recognized a few in the video. Paul, Shane, Mel and maybe a couple more. And I just read about the backstory where 97 souls were lost. - I must have known about it in 1989 when it happened but, honestly, it is a faded memory. BUT this goes to show you how powerful music can be... I hope the affected families benefitted in some way. Cheers to all who put this thing together.
Liverpool fan here...... Leicester City you are not only football fans you are fans in mourning. You are welcome to join us as football fans and brothers in arms
Only knew the Hollies singin it ,just read the original story behind the song,so heartwarming. Now found this collaboration of awesome artists...,brilliantly recorded.Tears in my eyes... Thx so much...
People, it doesn't matter if you support Liverpool or Everton, Arsenal or Tottenham, United or City, Hearts or Hibs, Southampton or Portsmouth, Wednesday or United, Celtic or Rangers, Millwall or West Ham, Cardiff or Swansea, Villa or Birmingham, Newcastle or Middlesborough or even if you don't support a football team - if you believe in true justice go and buy this song, make it Christmas Number 1 and send the loudest possible message that the whole country is with the families of the 96.
This is the 2nd time I've listened to this song ad it already gives me goosebumps already. And I'm a Arsenal fan, goes to show how powerful lyrics and football can unite fans of all teams together. JFT96
This is a beautiful rendition of a classic song, and such an appropriate choice for the given cause. I hadn't known who was involved before seeing the video, so it was an unexpected treat when each person turned up. Cheeky unexpected appearances from Holly Johnson, John Power and Mick Jones were great enough, and then the Reverend Jon McClure turned up! Please buy this.
sick of people saying they should 'get over it, it was a long time ago'...you lose a loved one, worse a child, and you know the people at fault refuse to take the blame, that questions are unanswered, fault unacknowleged, in some cases the victims themselves blamed, you neve get over it. anyone who has felt the loss of a child, or someone they love can surely empathise with that. losing my dad crushed me, but if he had died when he shouldnt have, before his time...i would never accept that.
This is fantastic rduced to tears, may God bless you all, I watched the game and seen it happening live, I am disgusted that some people can have a dislike to anything that has involved so much for so many people in this way, its about the cover up not just a football team, May God rest all their souls at last.
Best wishes and support to the courage of of Justice for the 96, the people of Liverpool and against State police corruption and lies, from a West Ham United supporter
Im a Man Utd fan do i dont like Liverpool BUT i am all for this song as its for a great cause. Time like this the families need justice. If only Cilla Black was alive and also offered to join in this very moving and emotional song. Being a Coventry City aka Sky Blues fan we should all unite for all the innocent fans and supporters both young and old who sadly never returned home to their loved ones. My thoughts and prayers and my respect to the friends and families who.tried to save as many people. We will always be by your side in getting justice for the beloved 96. I bought the CD and I have also downloaded it, sadly Spotify won't let me play this version, so I save this on my you tube playing list and my Google play music app. We will never forget and we will always remember all who never returned home on that day, they will always be with you/family and friends. 🙏⚽💙🕯️96🕯️❤️⚽🙏
