i read the reports at University, i tell u the police, Thatcher and the s** are completely repugnant! as a football fan who went for years, my heart goes out to Liverpool, a great city full of life & humour, culture & talent, you suffered so much but none of us will forgive or forget those injustices. 💯🙏

To all those who say let it rest, remember this - the Hillsborough story is not just one of tragic loss. It is a sickening tale of slander, deceit, institutional corruption, corporate exploitation, public revulsion, and above all, unnecessary and tragic loss of human life. JFT96 is about more than just memory. It is about justice and truth.
By far the one of the most touching songs ever written.
This brings me it tears every time, I try not to listen unless I’m alone. It’s always been a favourite song of mine, but in this context… I can’t take it JFT 97 ❤❤❤❤❤
It's 2020, but even now listening to this fills me with so much emotion, it brings back the memories of my fellow Liverpool fans losing their lives, it also brings bad even sadder memories of my own brother dieing of cancer at only 33, god bless each and every one of them, Justice For The 96 and Love For A Brother

It doesn't matter how long it takes, right is right and wrong is wrong. Shame on those who sought to avoid and pervert justice and didn't have any human decency for their fellow man. For you the day of reckoning is near. This song illustrates the meaning of true love and character on so many levels. If this song moves you to tears and emotion like it does me then you can be sure you are a human being. I dedicate this song to my brother, for the way he has carried me along my road.

I wasn't alive at this moment of time but, when my dad showed it put a tear in my eye because all evertonians and scousers dead. Hope everyone who lost their family can live life peacefully. myself, I'm a liverpool supporter. Don't go to a lot of matches but definitely watch them. I was there that day and the memory of what happened will stay with me for all of my life. Rest in Peace now the 96 and may this beautiful song make it to the top of the Xmas chart

I remember the first game back after the break in respect of all those who died that day. It was a home match against Everton; I remember the wreaths given to the Everton fans by the Spurs fans. An eerie silence that befell the refs whistle at kick off, something I had never experienced before. It was fully 20 minutes before there was any noise from either sets of supporters, no one knew how to react. Like thousands in the crowd it brought tears to my eyes then, as it is now thinking about it.

Absolutely superb update of this classic song. In some ways it transcends The Hollies version or at least stands shoulder to shoulder with it.

this is so moving, I just watched it 3 times in a row - I'd never heard it before. I am from the US and really only recognized a few in the video. Paul, Shane, Mel and maybe a couple more. And I just read about the backstory where 97 souls were lost. - I must have known about it in 1989 when it happened but, honestly, it is a faded memory. BUT this goes to show you how powerful music can be... I hope the affected families benefitted in some way. Cheers to all who put this thing together.
