I remember when my Dad was dying of cancer. This song came on in the living room and Dad was in his bed watching TV. It was as if time stood still. I had to stop everything right there and just listen. To this day I struggle to listen to this song without instant tears as it transports me back to that moment of knowing that I had limited time with my Dad. My father is now my spiritual guardian and I'm to be married in a few days. x

It accompanied her right through to her final moments. This song isn’t about “nice or comforting ideas” it is the actual Truth.

We chose this music for our mum's funeral, it played as we all came into the church. The FGTH original will never be beaten but this is a simply magnificent, spine tingling version. I visit this page often to listen again and to take me back to that send off we gave her. A mixture of raw sadness and remembering happy memories. Now that Reign ended I'm kind of just listening to all the songs to remember all the scenes they were playing in. Ugh they're wedding 😭. I'm so happy that she gets to spend eternity with Francis and share each other's love and happiness but I'm still kind of unsettled. I wanted to know all that was happening in France and in Scotland during her execution. And maybe it would happen if the finale was an hour and 20 minutes or something but I knew they couldn't waste screen time. I still cry every time I watch the ending seen with the flashbacks and even that song! I will miss you Reign!

Gabrielle came to Brazil in 2016 for a concert in São Paulo because the song "Home" was part of the soundtrack of a soap opera and was playing a lot around here. It was probably the best show I've ever seen, she sang a lot of songs from English Rain and Light Up the Dark and everyone knew all the lyrics. In the end we took a picture and I had a quick chat with her, we exchanged a hug and I said that she was one of my favorite singers and she thanked me. Thank you for everything Gabrielle ❤

folkosire well yeah it wasn’t made to be historically accurate Ofc if you watch the whole show Ofc we aren’t gonna know everything that happened in their lives it’s fictional and made for EnTeRtAiNmEnT and the show itself was very entertaining accurate or not it’s not “worthless” just because it’s inaccurate you don’t have to like the show but saying it’s rubbish for not being accurate when it wasn’t really meant to be is just a bit pointless 🤷🏼♀️ (idk if you can tell but I’m a big fan of the FICTIONAL show)
