That’s so refreshing honestly. I think one of the keys to happiness is being able to be happy for other people. Keep spreading the good vibes! Lots of love form the Tiny Home Adventure crew!
Wish you all the best sir
Would cost you 100k just for that car here in Australia without the camper conversion.
So true, second that from SoFlo!

From the start, Ryan was very helpful and is continuing to be helpful about his ruclips.net/user/postUgkxGqOCINHE0Z0E5gxzSdNi9NWGugRY5Hm2 Plans . Also, they have answered all the questions I have asked & I got outstanding support from his My Shed Plans full package.

My guess is its this instead of a house right??
We live in a country of 360,000,000. There really aren’t that many young people with such expensive builds.
Americans have a very different idea of what the word tiny means to everyone else, this thing is huge

I work on those engines all the time. They're so damn touchy but all they need is fresh oil all the time and replacing a gallon or two of coolant every 6k or 9k miles. I got plenty of customers running them with 500k-800k miles running day and night. They're excellent workhorses so long as you treat them like a trophy wife.
"On a budget" - if you don't value your time or, even if you enjoy it, factor in your time to build, good will of volunteers and the cost of ongoing bespoke maintenance... 🙂 It's a great build, sure, but spending $200K on a ready built isn't " $150K " of profit for them....
Hey! You did a amazing job on this build! I’m a mechanic I specialize in the 6.0s if your ever in pa and have a break down I’m sure I can get you fixed up correctly and more then likely have the part In stock. Super stoked someone built somthing like this around the 6.0 platform!! Congrats!

"It's a budget build... so, anyway, I spent 50k on the camper alone..."
Compared to an Earth Roamer, sure, but don't call that a budget build.

@@user-un8dr7kz2w Starbucks in US is like 3 times local coffee shop. There in Indo it goes from 10 or 20 times the local shop price. US price aren't by any mean cheap, but quite reasonable since you can order crazy stuff with 10 mix of ingredients from a choice of many. But here in developing country, they go as a Luxury Brand that priced even more expensive from US.
For example tall latte is $2.75 in US but in Indonesia which is 2nd most expensive Starbucks price in the world, a whopping $8.21

Is it though? @@giantkylec What a great answer to Tyler's original question you've provided, what a piece of work you are.
Not sure Tyler I think it depends on the center of gravity and exactly how much excessive weight there is above that, but I have to agree it's not something I would want to put to much lateral motion or side incline to find out...
Most all the earth roamer type trucks look top-heavy but they are driven all over the world on dirt, sand, and gravel roads, but as Kyle succinctly put it, not necessarily off-road. They have large, low-slung fuel and water tanks which helps.
@@RustyCas999 ah so I guess it would be mostly a tactful way of driving. So still going off paved roads but not getting in extremely rugged terrains. That makes sense.
Yeah this is definitely a very cool build! I wasn’t trying to dog on it. Mostly just curious. I personally think I’d prefer a lower center of gravity but I understand now how to be conscious of what your setup is and how to travel.

2 hard working people without many expenses or debt, smart with their money, saving $100k cash is not that difficult to do. Most people spend the money they make on things they don’t really need, or they don’t invest it.
@@Sonnyjune69 ok so you go do it? But the fact is that a vast majority of people aren’t going to be able have the up front cash for a project like this. And few banks are going offer 100k+ loans for vehicle builds. All I was I getting at was that this isn’t an undertaking that is easily done (hence the quote in my last sentence).
@@jakenelton1322 Sure, maybe not easily done, but not extremely difficult either, especially for 2 working people together. Maybe can't immediately do this, but with some planning, "pushing yourself" to do this is reasonably attainable. Not if you have credit card debt coming out of your ears and eating at restaurants every day and paying for 15 monthly subscriptions... For couples that are wise with aggressively paying off any debt they have and saving the majority of their expendable cash, this project is more attainable than people assume it to be.
Many of the products used in the building of your camper are very interesting. It would have been nice to include links to these products. I had to rewind the video several times on different occasions to get the name of a product then I had to search for it by name, not always finding what I was looking for.... just an FYI.
Great video!
You can build this too.
All you need is $60,000...A family with a huge shop and tools...a bunch of friends with manufacturing skills....and a hot blonde gf (who really is just there for support)
Is there anything wrong with you?
I’m sorry but this video feels way more like a professionally produced advertising piece than something real. The cost of this build would have to be much, much more expensive than they claimed - just add up the cost of all the very expensive, high-end components. Also, the product placement is insane - notice how many BIG companies got their products perfectly placed in the video. Production and film values are very high - and sophisticated. The editing is so good you don’t notice it. This whole video just feels too perfect to be true. Discuss and confirm or disabuse me from this notion.
He says at the beginning that the truck was 10k and the box was 50k. I don’t think that 50k includes the cost of the appliances and infrastructure stuff, just the cost to make the box, insulate it and make the furniture inside it. Neither does the 10k for the truck include the modifications such as the tires, suspension, bumpers, and whatever he did to the engine. I wouldn’t be surprised if the finished product was another 40k on top of the 60k he mentioned. That’s still 1/6 of the price of an Earthroamer.
from all the designs of various camper vans, this one stands out with a lot of storage space and the ability to carry a lot of equipment.
Dude you guys killed it. It’s hard enough to think about building a livable interior space on the back of a pickup truck, but the comprehension of the systems and optimal storage is next level. Amazing work guys

A very nice word, greetings to you from the country of Iraq
That's a high quality build! But it's made me realise that a lot of the Earth Roamer's huge price is for the mechanical quality. The adjustable beefed up suspension, the adjustable tire pressure system, all the pulleys and wiring, the upgraded engine to accommodate the massive weight increase... It'd be a shame if you bent the frame or blew the engine or gearbox after spending so much already. Amazing build all the same!
For the most part Earthroamer doesn't make any mechanical changes. They don't want to void the warranty so that the customer can go to a dealership for maintenance if they want. That's why they choose bigger platforms from the start so that they can keep almost everything stock.
@@Frodo_Shaggins yeah the only thing they change is put their custom map system in the middle of the dashboard

GOOD JOB !!! Really thrilled with our video, the two of you are amazing! Love your dog too! Good job with the editing but most of all the build of your RV is remarkable. I have had a lot of experience in building things in my 60 years on this planet and I have to say, what you have done is quite remarkable. The walk through your rig was a real treat and I was amazed with the detail of your design. The storage and the practical design of the unit as a truly functional liveaboard was fantastic. I have watched a ton videos of big money A class etc. units available on the market in the high 6 figures and you haven't missed the mark. It's too bad that we can't get a vehicle that gets better mileage, but this is the crap that has been given to us from the big manufacturers. This will change as the world wakes up to its true spiritual potential and people start living for the betterment of all rather than self centered greed and bowing to big oil. I enjoyed your video, thank you for sharing your ideas and creative dream with us.
i think its so funny that she said towards the end more than once how women say things like "i could never" and the thing holding me back from doing this is a man who is scared lol
My wife said she would never, I guess she's keeping the house. 😉
@@dallascole8200 🤣 you just gone leave her
@@MegatronTexas In my defense, she's turned out to be as mean as a rattlesnake. (Shivers) 😅🐍💀

Wait, 32gal. of diesel, at 10mpg. 320 miles, its an overlander not a Honda.
So what are you going to do when you lose your head gaskets? You know the cab has to come off, right?
