For what it's worth, as someone who also can't wear makeup, I'm always in absolute awe of yours... so the comfort sacrifice is appreciated, every bit as much as the wonderful creative projects!
Scrumptious! I'll have to look into the fancy element ear wires you mentioned, I haven't been able to wear any metal but gold or surgical steel for years. Tierra Cast is pricey but their findings are so gorgeous.
Thank you for the respite. I am in the middle of cooking and cleaning and you have just saved what little was left of my sanity! I need to find a good bead store close to me. There are some wholesale places, but I don't intend to start selling my work. It's for Me! Being able to look at a picture of a necklace and figuring out how to make it is a divine gift! It looks lovely as do the earrings that you thought up. As for the switch up with beading, some sweet soul once said that a change can sometimes be as good as a vacation. I have found that to be true several times in my life. Blessings on all of your endeavors!🧚♀️🖖🎃🐈⬛🐓🫖📚✨️
Well the divine Miss B, I’ve been binge watching you for the last 3 days as I’ve just discovered you. Could not love your channel more. I know I’ll be with you for the long hall. Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
It's lovely! Beading videos are just as good as sewing ones, I'll watch whatever you post! Or rather, I'll listen to whatever you post while occasionally glancing up from my hand sewing.
Right before clicking this video I thought, I am so living for your current beading craze right now!! Of course I love your sewing videos but I also really love this! I am looking forward to more beads ✨✨ and maybe trying out some of these designs for my magpie self :D
Oh wow, bravo! In the former Czechoslovakia I had bought some necklaces, plain rounds, and those boho necklaces with a lot of bead strings twirled together, you know from the 80ies. I think this is an good way for reuse, since I’m not wearing them in their current state, but quality and color is excellent. That’s what I’ll do 🎉
Literally just found your channel and am so impressed! I love your style, but also, I have been trying to find beading tutorials like this forever!! Thank you ❤😁
This is stunning! I so enjoy your beading videos, not that I don't enjoy everything else, but beading mesmerising! I haven't done beading in years but that may change soon! I was given a bunch of beautiful beads last year so there's a lot of beading ideas floating around my brain. Your videos keep adding to them!
that looks so fantastic, Ms. B!! can't wait to see what you've got planned! sorry about your makeup troubles, but thanx for looking SENSATIONAL in every video!!!💖💖💖
Very pretty! And this I think I actually dare trying to make 🙂 I have a ton of blood red seed beads and some black faceted beads that I think could look good for this. Thanks for the inspiration.
After years of using my fingers and (mostly) my fingernails to open jump rings, I finally bought a jump ring Ring. They aren't expensive and, provided I put it on, it really makes opening jumps easier. I don't know if you're like me, but I can have every dang plier I own in front of me, and I will still try to open a jump ring by finger. Wearing the jump ring Ring, I can feel stupid the first time I do that cuz, psht, it's on my finger, may as well use it. Then I just go ahead and use it for the rest. They can be found under Jump ring openers on the place named after the large river in South America. Lovely necklace. The three long beads on the drapes remind me of dinosaur claws. And that is sending me down a whole different rabbit hole necklace wise . . .
It came out amazing! My sister is thinking of making jewelry and I linked her your account to give her an idea of a type she could do. I am myself, trying, to resist temptation in this particular instance. At least for now. Certification first, hobbies second. Right? Right. 😅 Thank you for sharing!
I love the beading, it looks so complex. I made a crochet mermaid and used beads to look like she was holding pearls. Not a patch on yours but its a start xx
Yep your patience wins. I love your makes I'm just not patient enough to replicate them myself. I'll just know it's worth paying someone for their labor if i really want one.
You are so talented. I especially love your clothing and watching you making it. I used to make all of my clothing and loved doing it. Your beadwork is stunning!
Sterling silver & surgical steel are the two options I have found for earring findings that don't irritate my skin. I will have to try the one you mentioned. Love all the bead projects. 🤩
Im lucky that i had very easy access to a specialty bead shop in colorado springs, White Rabbit beads was fantastic! They also do costume jewelry repairs, which is so nice to get clipons replaced with posts easily. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area! Now i need to find a bead store in my new town
I so enjoy the breading , I’m likely to try beading before sewing. I do need to take my great grandmother’s singer to be serviced and get some lessons on how to use and care for it.
Omg I am always sooo amazed at how you do all your makes. I am still very new to sewing clothes and enjoy watching all of your videos. I am hoping to try beading sometime in the future 😊
Been loving the beading! I love love love your sewing videos as always but as someone who knows basically nothing about sewing (i'm a knitter/crocheter) it's nice to know what you're actually talking about, which I do with these beading videos 😂
I thought it was going to be asymmetrical when you started out, but then the pattern started coming together. I don't see many asymmetrical necklaces. I'm one of the few that like them I guess. It's a beautiful necklace. Love how wide it is.
Absolutely gorgeous! I am loving all the jewelry, and it just means that i will be even more excited for the next sewing peoject. It's all about anticipation. 😊❤
Hi Bianca! My friend also has problems with eye makeup, but loves everything at Sephora. Not sure if it's an option for you, but thought I'd share 😊 The necklace is gorgeous, as all of your crafty things are. 🧡
Well, I found this tutorial because it was beading and now I'm bummed to hear you're mostly sewing haha but I loved this tutorial and I love your candid candor and fun words for things, that I also probably would use myself. Thanks so much for sharing both the tutorial and the personal information!!
The necklaces both look so beautiful! As far as the makeup allergies go, have you tried Silk Naturals? They describe themselves as clean beauty and skincare, and have a lot of bold eye make up options including duochrome shades. I have a few eyeshadows from them that I like.
You look beautiful- your makeup looks particularly lovely (hope you didn’t suffer too much). Maybe it’s the shade of lipstick? The necklace is stunning. ❤️❤️
This is one of those hobbies that has been on my radar for years now haha it looks so fun and the results can be so beautiful! One day I will do it.. in the mean time I will be absorbing these videos of yours as future inspiration ;D
I am very interested in jewelry making and I appreciate any that you do. I am currently, unsuccessfully trying to make an Aes Sedai ring 😆, which is almost silly of me. I would rather watch you make jewelry and learn from that, than float around trying to find someone else that is as interesting to watch as you are.
It is a sad, sad comment about the state of my heart that when i heard you say you lost the pin you were working.... I smiled. I was reasured that i am indeed part human and not totally alien couch surfer. I can and do lose things, physical and digital quite often. It is So frustrating! You are a dear as well as a treasure, a fount of inspiration, education and entertainment all wrapoed in one lovely young lady.
I don't do much beading (despite a ridiculous stash of beads) One of the first necklaces I made looked very much like this only it was a collar rather than a choker (and I skipped the dangly pieces) Got to dig out the bead stuff (get new glasses prescription too)
I always love seeing your mastery with eyeshadow. Always so stunning! My mom is also allergic to a lot of eyeshadows. She's allergic to the soy lecithin and beeswax, which are used in a lot of makeup brands. When removing your makeup, do you use a makeup cleansing wipe or a cleansing balm? I may not be allergic to my makeup, but I noticed that when I used a cleansing wipe my eyes would be super irritated. After I switched to a cleansing balm I can wear makeup whenever I want no problem since the balm breaks up the makeup gently without having to scrub. The balm might feel better with your makeup sensitivity.
If you have a windows computer and you close a browser tab by accident, you can hit ctrl+shift+T and it will reopen the tab that you just closed. Hopefully that helps you or someone else at some point :)
This turned out beautifully! But I must say your makeup at the beginning stole the video for me. I've never seen those ones so nicely sparkly before. Could you please tell me what brand you use?
Very lovely. As someone who makes beaded jewelry a lot I would like to share a term for one of the techniques you used. The motifs you called quatrefoils are called Right Angle Weave or RAW. There are a couple of types of RAW which, of course, I can't remember at the moment. Also, did you know you can use different sized of beads to make some really beautiful effects? I have one necklace I made that started with 3mm round glass beads in the first round, then three 4mm rounds, and then 6mm rounds. It was a pattern I got a while ago. Oh, and did you know there are two very good bead companies that sell beads and beading supplies on the internet? I've dealt with both and find them to have a very good selections. They are Fire Mountain Gems and Potomac Bead Company. Fire Mountain has been around for 50 years and has a huge selection of just about everything. Potomac is has not been around quite as long and doesn't have as much of a selection as Fire Mountain, but they are just as good in different ways. Unfortunately, Fire Mountain doesn't carry charlottes. Potomac does, though I'm not sure if it's a very big selection. You'd be a better judge of than me.
Question: when you're creating something like this for the first time, how do you know what length or size thread/wire to start with? If it's too long it might be inclined to tangle or knot; but if it's too short you risk running out?
Absolutely lovely and making me wanna break out my beading again. Also I don't know if you've ever tried makeup from E.L.F. but they're very afforable and vegan/cruelty-free. Not saying that you wouldn't be allergic to it but at the least it wouldn't cost you a ton of money for something you don't wear often. (I buy ELF cuz my adhd makes me lose makeup and I dont wanna spend a lot on something that I'll lose)
Having to make a lot of my own eye pins out of other *stainless steel or titanium* head or eye pins, I feel your hand pain. I love the beauty of your work! Do you use an acrylic spray on your beads with a metallic finish so it doesn’t come off over time? Also, what brand of round nose pliers are you using to make your eye pins? I recently wore mine out after 10 years and they don’t make them anymore.
This is my second of your videos and if I’m correct that your voiceover is sped up slightly I would like to say that’s genius. I struggle with speaking quickly without having a script but then sound inauthentic with a script. So i guess even if that’s your natural speed then thanks for the inspo
While I do speed up the video bits, the voice over is all just how fast I talk...and people complain that I talk too fast allll the time 😅 But for most videos I watch, I set them to 1.5 or 2 times speed so 😂 I have a sorta weird stunted yet fast speech pattern I suppose, it works for some people and turns others away, but I gotta be me!
@@TheClosetHistorian absolutely gotta be you! I’ve mainly attempted v/o for reels so trying to cram authenticity entertainment and accuracy into 30 sec or less is a journey. Thanks!
@@TheClosetHistorian Yes, by all means you must be you. However, what all of you "speed talkers" don't realize is that speaking 100 MPH makes it sooo difficult for those of us that are hearing impaired to understand what you are saying and, not only frustrating but, also such a strain that it can make some of us physically sick. Just thought you might want to know. I have been watching your videos for awhile now so what I have to do is slow the play back speed down to 75 or sometimes even 50 and engage the CC. You sound a little drunk but at least I don't get as frustrated.
I'm curious. Do you know the ingredient you're reacting to with your eyeshadow and foundation? Do you know if youre allergic to the pigment or an ingredient. As a fellow sparkle makeup enthusiast my mind is looking for solutions. Like if your skin managed the base mica powder better, then you could find a mixing medium and an alternate tacky base to make them work. I've seen some amazing duo and multichrome mica powders out there
Your beaded necklaces are so fun. Thanks so much for making these!
For what it's worth, as someone who also can't wear makeup, I'm always in absolute awe of yours... so the comfort sacrifice is appreciated, every bit as much as the wonderful creative projects!
Look into the brand 100% Pure if it's an allergy thing.
No need to apologise for the lack of sewing! Watching you create these gorgeous pieces is just as satisfying!
I agree. It's a whole wardrobe, the beading (and everything else) is all about building a wardrobe "closet"
Absolutely.
That necklace layering option is sooo smart! Allows for more versatility while also a total WOW factor if you wish
Wow,I'm hook you have such a beautiful spirit 🎉
Gorgeous! Sometimes we just get in moods to do certain crafts. Apparently, you're in a beading mood and I'm not complaining.
Scrumptious! I'll have to look into the fancy element ear wires you mentioned, I haven't been able to wear any metal but gold or surgical steel for years. Tierra Cast is pricey but their findings are so gorgeous.
Wow, you're on a roll with your jewelry making! Looks amazing, a real piece of art 👏👏👏

Bianca Gurl!! you worked this, of course! fabulous dahlin! FABULOUS!! Beautiful work!
I enjoy the narrative!! You always make me laugh- so thank you. I can totally relate to your high heels story

Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
The beading shakes things up a bit and I like it. Thanks for showing us how you do things.
Your technical terms: floopy. 😁 The set you wear in your intro, and that choker pattern: stunning.
It's lovely!

I love your rambling voice overs.
Crimp covers--who knew? Love these beading videos, Nice results.

So beautiful! You are truly an artist. 🧡💜🧡💜
Love the sewing, love the beading ❤
I’m very looking forward to seeing your full mourning set, all of the black silk crepe taffeta delicious rustling magic.
Those beading videos are so relaxing

If you can crochet a mermaid, you've got plenty to be proud of! Cute idea adding pearls
This looks like something from the Mummy movie! Looks fantastic!
Always right on time with the distraction! I don’t know who exactly talked me into teaching 6th grade this year… Beautiful necklaces. 🌈🌈🦋🦋

Beautiful work. Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble with makeup. The looks are so lovely, I wish looking good would feel good too.

I'm going to make this as a bracelet without the drop/fringe row at the bottom. Love it! Thanks.

18:50 Niob?
