I love Rose so much! Her personality is so infectious!!! Thank you for the great video ♥️♥️♥️♥️
She's great! You are so welcome and thanks for watching.
Please make more videos with Rose, I love her!
I soooo could for sure seeing a 20 something yr old wearing that blue necklace... anyone into boho style would love that 😀
YES! Not everyone follows "trends", thank goodness!!
The thing about trends is, they come back. This could have been a beloved vintage in another decade.
I love to upcycle and would enjoy sitting across a table from you Rose and working on upcycling, drinking a beverage and eating a cookie or two, and laughing quite a lot. You are a fun person Rose.
Your a happy soul Rose, thanks, I up cycle jewelry as much as possible also.
I love how gleefully you took things apart before repurposing them. I’m looking forward to taking apart some of my existing jewelry.
I repurpose junk jewelry all the time. Haha!! Thank you for sharing your skills and ideas...I am glad to see one of ultimate favorite bead retailers doing videos on RUclips. I am late in the game!
Rose you are so entertaining and enthusiastic, this was really fun to watch and get inspired from!
Rose, you're a gem yourself. I enjoyed your video immensly. :-)
I totally agree. I had some really cool chunky belts that were my mom’s after she passed away and I turned them into beautiful necklaces for my sister and I.
First time i have seen Rose and I love her already.....
We love Rose too! Thank you for watching! ❤
So enjoyed your video Rose, love your energy and ideas. 💐
That was fun Rose! I like to re-purpose jewelry too. I have made pendants out of orphaned earrings. I am thinking of making a lost earring bracelet with all the small orphaned earrings. Lets do this again. =)
Great idea!❤
I love to recycle old pieces of jewelry! You were so fun to listen to and watch! Your sense of humor reminds me of myself!❤
So glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!
You are adorable. Quite a coincidence; right now I’m upcycling some leftover polyester fiberfill and my daughter’s (19yo) unused toddler socks with some squeakers, making some toys for the next Westie rescue online auction and for our local rescues!
That is awesome!
Gosh Rose…THANK YOU watching from Trinidad….so many ideas going through my head
Love your ethos about doubling up on dessert!!!❤❤❤ big lo e from the 🇬🇧
Hello Rose, how are you. My name is Lorena I am a platinum buyer of FMG as of 2020. Always a pleasure to watch your videos.
This was so much fun! Love ❤ your presentation and you! I've been upcyling jewelry for years and having so much fun doing it! Got my sister hooked now! We started making bee charms and selling them, to raise money to help save the bees. Been calling them 'Angel Bees'! 20% of the sales is donated to save the bees 🐝.
Wonderful! Love that!
Yeah, save the bees.
You're funny in a very delightful way!
I love her. She has a great personality 😃
Thank you. I have many beads to upcycle. Tina, Al's wife

I am watching you for the first time. I'm from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. I didn't know there was upcycaling! I'm not well and am indoors alot. I have bought jewelry bags first time in years. You remind me of someone I knew and miss. Take care of. Yourself, your so interesting to watch and learn, I am a fan for sure.
Hi Linda and welcome to the channel!
Thank you for your kind words. I am sorry about your friend. Maybe I remind you of her because we are related? I have lots of family throughout Canada including Regina. Happy Beading. - Rose

You are very pleasant, and I love your laughter! And love your ideas, I am itching to make some myself now!
Have fun!
Love your positivity and light and humor Rose. Truly a beautiful person who brings knowledge and positive vibes! Thanks lovely Rose❤️🌹❤️
Just awesome Rose! We have been shopping at thrift store jewelry counters for years and have accumulated a diverse collection. Now, we know what to do with them. Upcycling is another way to give new life to beautiful jewelry pieces and certainly gain a profit with their new life.
I love this!! I’m so glad I stumbled on this content this exactly what I do at home. I’m glad that she mentions that we’re not married to the pieces and that the pieces aren’t currently trending and that styles change 😊
LOVELY !!! Thank you
This is so cool Rose! I love it!

Rose is the best! 🥰
Rose, I am a long time customer of FMG💕💕 going back to 2004, when I was in college. I made and sold jewelry to my friends. Love the selections I found. My last purchase was in June 2023. I've only seen 1 other video of yours, please make more. I love to upcycle the "old stuff" into new.
Thank you for your support! We have a number of videos with Rose if you check out our full channel, especially the seed beading tutorials. Here is the link to our full channel: www.youtube.com/@FireMountainGems
Thank you for sharing this idea. I have plenty of old jewelry that can be upcycled.
I love taken old jewelry & re-creating something new, I call it renewed or refurbished jewelry ( example- taking clip on earrings & upcycle them to pendants , pierced earring.)
Great idea! Upcycling can be such a great way to use your creativity!
I love this!! ❤❤ I have been going to thrift stores and have a lot of old stuff or " seasoned " stuff! Love how you make these!!!

Thank you💝💎
You are so welcome!
❤very very nice
I buy jewelry at the thrift store and recycle it into barrettes to hold the back of my mullet in a twist on the back of my head. My hair is thinning (I'm 73 & on blood thinners) so I need a lot of fullness on top of my head but I don't like the"cut" look at the nape. I use both 3" French Barrettes and 1 1/2".
wow wow wow first time I've seen this...I'm heading to the thrift store today!!!!!
Good luck! We hope you find some hidden treasures to upcycle!
One of my favorite upcycling jewelry pieces, was using the ear bud wires to do the double wrapped bracelets.
So cool!
Need to see your Treasure
#Love from Thailand
Getting there
I know it's a little late but the silver broaches would look cute as earrings and put some drop beads from the bottom
Definitely! Great idea!
Add a few small dangles to the choker.
Was that necklace real turquoise ‽ doesn't matter really, what lovely pieces you have made already and sooo much more to play with you lu ķythiñg LOL
too fun =-)
Cute video but what about just making weeks long pieces that are family heirlooms ? Or to sell.
Great idea!
hi ma'am can you upcycle a jewelry to make a crown or a tiara?
Hello. You can upcycle jewelry into many different things, including a crown or tiara.
Did you remove the wire on the other side of the leather choker? Or, put replacements where you had cut the other sides off?? 😮
For the sake of video time, it was just left on the one side, but you could do it both ways! Either add wire back to the other side, or remove the wire altogether.
Such a beautiful necklace destroyed .
I made some drop earrings, bracelets, necklaces but the wire, the jump rings and all of the other connectors, tarnished and I am allergic to the metal they are made of, So I stop making jewelery. HELP!!!
Hi there. All metals have the potential to tarnish over time and based on wear and care. You might try using silver filled components in your jewelry. Sterling silver filled components that we offer have an anti-tarnish coating to preserve their beauty. If using gold, karat gold might be best with your allergic reaction.
😻🙏🏽
What's a finding?
A jewelry-making term for any metal component used to connect and/or assemble jewelry. Findings are materials used to thread through, glue on, hook into, link onto or otherwise attach beads and components together. Findings include jumprings, clasps, bails, headpins, ear wires and charms, to name a few.
I now feel like shopping at goodwill to up scale my next jewelry art
I don't think so
I like quite a bit of this video however, I didn’t like the part where she put that face and the curly cue hair on a cheap looking chain. 7:11 I think the chain should be more classy than that
Does anyone else think that that tree-head thing was a little creepy?
