No disrespect, but this kind of cruise did not seem like Kyle and Casey’s thing. It was definitely a party boat, and you guys seemed very out of place. Not saying that you guys can’t be cruising anymore but you guys are more family cruises. Jojo is the party drinker boat type. Everyone has their space and that wasn’t yours

I just spent that same amount on a 10 day cruise! They can keep their over priced 3-4 day mega ship cruises.

I like your cruise content, but it has been a little too much the same lately. I know you want to tour the new ships, but the tours seem pretty much the same. I would love to see you guys touring ports and maybe doing an excursion on the longer cruises.
I completely agree! I love Kyle's content but there have been so many cruises and its getting repetitive. I skipped most of the videos from this series. I'd love to see Kyle do something different...Disneyland? Aulani?

The railroad dinner experience I am told is only able to accommodate 300 guests per sailing which is disappointing since the ship can hold 6000 passengers so it would be difficult to get a reservation.

The freestyle machines DO NOT have Dr. Pepper unfortunately!!
Dr. Pepper isn’t a coke product, it’s owned by Keurig.
Freestyle machines where I am have dr. Pepper.
The ones on Utopia have Mr. Pibb, which is Coke's version of Dr. Pepper.
I have to be honest, your cruise content is getting boring. Would love to see you go to places other than the Bahamas or the cruise lines private islands. Take longer cruises, go to different Islands, go on excursions. Would rather see the destination then just the boat.
Every ship is like the same, every cruise room is the same yet you spend time filming the exact same stuff.

Fact check.. I’m going on a cruise in December on Utopia and the Utopia station opened up beginning of August and it’s already sold out for my December cruise.. got me a spot!
Food truck uses premade third party frozen food. Not very original.
Seems like a party ship and booze cruise. These shorter cruises are geared for the party crowd. Nothing wrong with that except that for first time cruisers sailing on Royal it might give them a misleading opinion on the RCL cruising experience on other RCL ships. If you’re looking for a party, this would be fun. I’ll take a more relaxed cruise experience any day.

He's not wrong. Cruising preferences are highly subjective which is why there are many different cruise lines available. These types of videos helps others decide if this particular line or ship is right for them.

No way would I set foot on a Virgin voyage cruise. Not for me.
Msc drinks and wifi included and carnival sometimes we get drinks included & princess premium all are better deals than a royal cruise not worth it. I'm a chiller not a slider.

I have a question or questions, how much do you love cruising, and when is your next one?
My opinion about an Oasis class ship is you need at least 7 days to really experience that large a ship. Maybe a back to back would be the way to go? It seems to me RC is doing these 3-4 day trips to make money. You might buy the drink package for 3-4 days but 7 days gets really expensive. Also they are trying to get a younger crowd. As you said trying to get the Virgin crowd. Don't think it will work. Virgin is now advertizing adults can bring their adult children 18-26 yrs free!! Now that is hard ri beat.

Kyle...you make me smile with your comments about old people..i am 65 and i would love the silent disco...remember we grew up with disco....and rock and hard rock, pop....we were hippies, nerds and jocks...lol. we have partied too much in many cases. Don't get me wrong...i have experienced so much in my life....Disney is my cruise ship of choice now but i might have been partying with jojo when younger😂 l love your vlogs but remember us old people have lived and are living an amazing and full life.

Age is just a number! I can run circles around girls Casey’s age! We have been at many silent discos and there are people of all ages having fun!! Sometimes, the older crowd seems to be having more fun!!😂There is also a separate family silent disco earlier in the evening on Royal! We love Disney too! And Celebrity!

I don’t drink & I’m taking my kids on a 4 day cruise in November. I really don’t think the 4 day cruises will be as much as a party vibe. I hope anyway! However, to answer your question. Stay away from Carnival ships & do a Royal Oasis class that’s a longer sailing.

I'm not a big drinker or partier and love Virgin Voyages. It's what you make it. I simply rested, didn't have to deal with unruly kids, had the best food at sea, loved the ports and met great people.
@@TravelsByHollieI'm also taking my wife and 2 kids in November. It's only a party ship if you choose to go to those events. From videos I've seen, you can just avoid them pretty easily. My kids are pumped about splashaway bay, mini golf and the playscape.
With carnival only xl class ships and msc Evo class ships, all carnival and msc other ships waste of money.
what I’m saying is there’s so many other RC ships that are for children. I’m glad to see leaning more towards adults on this ship.

We really enjoyed the cruise content. Our family is newer to cruising and appreciate the detailed tours. We also rely on you for all the Disney Park tips and hacks! 😊

We never sailed Royal. You mentioned "no power cords." My devices (phone, laptop, camera, etc) all charge with a power cord. OR ... are you referring to a "surge protector"???
you can use regular power cords but no surge protectors or extension cords
FYI. Time magazine just released their 100 greatest places in July 2024 issue and #1 was Icon of the Seas.
I was thinking to take my 15 and 16 year old on the aug 12-16th sailing. Its like $680 per person for the 4 day cruise in a balcony room. My family has never been on a cruise before. Is that expensive comparatively?

Planning is excellent. We just did a heavy port mediterranean cruise on a large ship. We did everything we wanted but 1 slide. Planning made it so stress free!!!

We're old and decrepit, we never go to the parties on the pool deck, there are tons of other places for sailaway, I'd be in Solarium for that anyways.

If you avoid the pool parties, you'll be able to escape most of the "party atmosphere" because the rest are confined to designated times and spaces.
Same. Bringing the family Dec 27-30. Not overly worried as they won't be up at midnight and we will just skip the pool when it is wild. So much to do on the pool.

The ship was beautiful with lots to do. I'm not sure if I'd pay the money for a solo cruise but definitely worth going with a grouo of friends. Great series.

At the beginning, you mentioned Universal. That is very exciting because I think the two of you would be awesome spending a little more time reviewing Universal and of course upcoming Epic Universe! Disney is going downhill and your take on the Universal Parks, lodging and food costs would be very interesting to hear. Until WDW gets new leadership, it’s going to continue the downward spiral.
I feel like short weekend or short get-away cruises should also not be too expensive.

Drink package worth it if speciality coffee is included. Also nothing says you cant have virgin bar drinks.

I’m taking my 9 & 10 year olds in November on a 4 day. It was a great price. Hopefully, we can stay away from the party people.
I honestly honestly think it would be better if it was a 7 night itinerary they make more money. That’s just my opinion.

3:40 I agree ☝️ with Casey I think it’s weird to bring a hair dryer since they already provide one in the ship 🚢 and then to get it taken away and having to pick it up when it’s time to depart the end of the cruise sounds like a hassle and too much work in my opinion

Please do some research in regard to SW. We hope you don’t support SW by visiting the animal/mammal attractions and stick to the rides only if you feel pressured into going. We’ve been very loyal supporters up until the SW video. It is a deal breaker. We really love you and your family!! ❤
I'm sad that it's not super family friendly. We personally don't like the party atmosphere. We love going on Disney because it is super kid friendly. Is Icon a party atmosphere? We would love to try Royal but not sure.
We sail with Royal a lot (usually the newer ships). Honestly, we have always experienced a very family friendly atmosphere. Sometimes too many kids everywhere having fun 😂 but there are a few areas like the Solarium, for adults only. Even then, Royal will make exceptions to accommodate families! It will be interesting for us to experience Utopia and Icon in a few months to experience ourselves! 😊 I was under the impression that Icon has a lot of family friendly areas especially!! 😊
Honestly, there are a ton of events for families as well including parties on the Boardwalk, Studio B, etc. You can easily avoid the parties with families.
The icon had the whole end of the ship and other areas for children. The kids still have their own separate area. I have kids and grandkids and sometimes I felt like RC was just catering to the kids🤷♀️

Dr. Pepper is actually a Snapple product. I know all the other freestyle machines on Royal has Dr. Pepper because that is my drink of choice and have gotten it on the other ships.
I hope you go back to Disney and Universal. I was thoroughly unimpressed with the cruise. Every vlogger I watch was shut out of the only dining experience on the ship.
Views and Queues hit the railroad car dining. You had to go straight there since it was the first cruise. Sounds like you can book ahead in future.
The only downfall of Royal doing short 3 & 4 day trips with this ship. Doesn't leave many available "slots" to get people in to experience the Railway dining. I imagine you'll be fighting to get a slot for quite some time. Even when you can start booking it ahead.

Question: Are you guys planning to go to Carnvial Private Port of Celebration Key when it opens in the summer of 2025? I believe the first sailing to the private port is July 12th on the Vista and will stop there on 19th.
