Still wear SPF even when it's cloudy. You can still get sunburnt on a cloudy day. My mom got the worst sunburn of her life at a waterpark on a cloudy day.
I was just going to post that as soon as Kyle said it but you beat me too it. Some times the burn can be much worse.
Literally came here to make sure someone said it. I learned this lesson the hard way as a kid😅
Yes you should be wearing sunscreen all the time Kyle what you do or don’t do can affect you later in life I’ve had Melanoma and basil cell you do NOT want it just take care of your skin and living in Florida sunscreen every day for sure
Coming from a fair skinned red head. You still need sunscreen even when it’s overcast. And you should reapply every 2 hours and/or after you get wet. Trust me you will appreciate protecting your skin so much the older you get. I wish I could go back a few years and be more vigilant!!

We will be at Coco Cay next Saturday (5/25). I enjoyed seeing all that there is to do on the island. Not sure, though, if I want to go into the pool ... too cold.

Alexa should advise you that you can still get sunburn with the clouds. Be careful with the overcast days.
We’ve had a few jellyfish stings snorkeling! We’ve encountered jellies, nurse sharks, and baby barracudas just a few feet into the water at Cococay! Never stops us from swimming! Always a perfect Day at CocoCay (unless a baby does a number in the pool…happened to us at the Coco Beach Club last week! Pool closed at 10:45am and did not reopen!) Still a great time at CocoCay!!

I highly encourage you to go snorkeling at Discovery Cove. It is the perfect(controlled) place to gain your confidence at snorkeling.
A comment on sunscreen. Many years ago, we were on a cruise & I would smell the nicest scent. Finally asked the woman next to us what she was using, it was Australian Gold. I went right down to the ship’s store & bought a bottle. To this day it is the only sunscreen we use. I have to order via Amazon because we live in NYS & our stores don’t usually carry that brand. It smells divine, no coconut smell!

We books our cruise on allure for this July a year in advance and when I went to book the water park it was $199pp! I was like oh heck no.. I finally was ok with not going for that price but as time went on they kept lowering it. I finally booked it for $83pp and this last week it was on sale again for $63pp so I feel much better about the cost. So booking in advance is not always the best deal, you just have to keep watch in it as it gets closer to your sail date
Kyle you can still get sunburn on an overcast day! I used to assume the same thing and paid the price at Castaway Cay one year!! Also, my dermatologist was mad at me lol!
