I have to say that Jeep is much nicer to TFL than any other manufacturer (Ford). It is great getting to see you three at this Jeep event and Andre at the Detroit Auto Show. Great entertainment for us vehicle enthusiasts.
Now people are gonna start chopping the beds on their Gladiators lol. Very cool build though! Definitely better for you departure angle if you're going to be doing a lot of off-roading. Love the orange every too!
I always wanted them to make an avalanche style gladiator where the bed is 4’ but extends into the cab making it 6’ . Really maximize utility and off road performance. Though I’m quite happy loading up the 5’ bed and cab, so I suppose it’s doing a great job already.
I guess why have a bed that short? why not just an enclosed Unlimited cabin? That said I think you could do a 70 series style 'canopy' with that short bed

IMO The ONLY reason to buy a JT over any other Wrangler is to have a FUNCTIONAL truck bed. Well, that’s gone. But Jeep never actually produces any of their EJS concepts so it’s all for fun anyway. One of the best features on this is factory OBA but Jeep could have offered that years ago.
Only? No My Diesel effortlessly pulls 6k, is fully capable on stupid obstacles on 39s and the gvrw is high enough that its a write off. Plus its way less common.
I will just add another vote for the 2 door short bed gladiator. They promised it in '05 on a TJ base and we are still waiting. The current Gladiator has all the Jeep attributes of a truck, and all the truck attributes of a jeep.😐

Maybe it has JT towing capacity. It certainly doesn't have JLU pass-thru ability for long cargo. It doesn't look like it could fit a quad or dirt bike or 2 in the bed.
What's the point? A JLU with a swingate-to-tailgate conversion is probably more useful than this as a pickup...unless you're towing 3500lb+. Remove the rear seat and you'd have a decent "bed". This bob likely can't even fit a dirt bike in the bed.

So this is cool but honestly my favorite concept was the blue 2 door gladiator they did with the longer bed. I’m really surprised they did make that.

@@mattbrew11 how much weight did the lift and 39s cut into your GVWR?
@@ALMX5DP I used aluminum control arms and bumpers to keep weight down. Maybe 125lbs added vs stock. The 39s are 86lbs and the stock tires were 52
