I have a Diahatsu HiJet. It has a low range, rear locker, a two inch lift, and knobby tires. It makes a world of difference in the snow. I have it set up in a similar way that you have the Polaris with the snow plow. It is a work horse. The Honda Acty is more of a street oriented Kei truck vs. the other models.

He dropped back from the truck, which was in the inside. lane, then accelerated as fast as he could in the middle lane until he hit he pressure wave, then popped into the third lane effectively side stepping the pressure wave and drove on. I think the kei truck for me is a really good option, because of all the practical utility it has a that I don't really need anything that big. I believe one should pick a truck based on what they need it for. If you have really heavy loads to carry and pull around, the dodge should be the pick, for light duty utility, doors, lumber, home improvement stuff, like maybe hauling your own kitchen appliances, the kei truck meets all of my needs. I'm never gonna be hauling around thousands of pounds of concrete or pulling heavy trailers so that little Honda would be everything I need. I would probably want a kei truck with about 80 horsepower though. Otherwise it's perfect for me. I use my sedan to haul lumber and stuff in though as it is, just for big boxy items that simply won't fit in a Toyota Corolla, the kei truck would handle it all. Considering that it's easy enough to load a refrigerator in the back and drive it home, it's all the truck I would ever need.

The reason they are fighting these vehicles is because of safety? Here, I figured it was cheap, reliable transportation. Would that ever burn the American car markets a**. The fact is that federal law states that after 25 years, they can be imported without restriction. There are various tax laws regulating newer than 25 years. Thanks LBJ 🤬 but I digress. The bottom line those states outright banning them are in breach of federal regulation. Those limiting them to non-highway use are using a gray area that is semi-valid, though slightly misguided. Are they beasts that should be on a highway at 70 mph? They could, in theory, do it, but as responsible adults we should understand the difference between should and could. If our overinflated, obese, fat cat, $140,000 truck auto manufacturers did a little market research, they might realize a small economically efficient cost-effective truck priced at around $10,000 - $12,000 new would sell like hotcakes. This is why the American auto marcket is failing at design, sales, retention, and overall business. They are bleeding green, be it from debt, regulation, or sheer obstinance. The rise in popularity and import should give them a market idea, let alone public reactions, in general, with most finding these vehicles "cute." So why aren't they getting a hint that a truck designed to fail and having no dealer support after 10 years, that goes from $140,000 to $70,000 the second your name goes on the title. Is a terrible business model? Dont even get me started on electrics. On that note, maybe I should casually and quickly put my soap box away. Peace be with you all and enjoy what you like. we should all have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Between this and the behind the scenes footage of this some time ago, I think this presentation was the better of the 2. While the behind the scenes video of this video was not horrific per se, one can certainly appreciate the editing done on this product. Which one of the 2 do I like better? Wish you had not asked. lol Both have their use case scenario where they would excel in. Obviously since you cannot legalize that Kei truck for the streets, Kase truck wins. (in so many ways)

The only things keeping this sort of vehicle out of the States as new, assuming the marketing teams estimated they'd sell enough to make it worth their while, is the shadow of the consumer safety hand-wringing over the Suzuki Samurai in the late '80s as well as the Chicken Tax.

Y’all should try putting the engine from a Honda CB650R or from a CBR1000RR in the Acty, much more torque and horsepower
