Just to clarify, no, I'm not quitting (I'm not sure where this rumor started) - I think some people may have taken it out of context on my stream, I was talking about seriously quitting my actual job (as they were forcing people back into office), though that has folded and I get to stay working remote anyway! Anyways, I'll be streaming my Gnonno pulls as soon as she's out tomorrow (or as soon as I get up, anyway), so make sure to catch me at twitch.tv/maygii ! Also as usual, I'll update with any clarifications/fixes here. "What's with the 2x 561K on max investment" woops, the bar for Lan should be topping out at 517K. "So triple physical is useless then" it's not useless per-se, the rotation is just really clunky and awkward but can totally pump out some viable damage. With the Umi bugfix it might actually see a lot of power with Umi main DPS, we'll have to see.
And don't forget the most important contribution of this character. The hyperactive tentacle girl with pizza cutter teaches us that it is possible to swim in the deep sea with high heels.
I’m really happy with this. All I wanted was a charger for my Umi so I can play her more consistently and she does exactly that, but it seems she does more now and I can actually pair her with my Lan and Altered team. I can’t wait to get her!!
Thanks for all your hard work once again Maygi! I was reluctant to pull for gnoochi, but seeing how useful she is for both physical AND altered team means that she’s perfect for my account. Thanks for the guide and number-crunching, and hope you rest well after seeing physical rise up again! :)

Gnonno's release will be the most important release for Physical mains who are still around and haven't given up playing ToF yet, because as you know (you're a Phy main yourself haha), Umi was powercrept during her own banner (by Fenrir) by a super large margin, resulting in subsequent characters Lan and Icarus also having to powercreep by a large margin to match up to Fenrir's power gap. Since Fenrir's release, Physical mains have been literally left behind while the rest of the game moved on, many either converted to play support with their Lyra (Lyra/Fiona/Lin) or quitted altogether as they felt they wasted their money to max out Umi. It may be too late for those that have quitted but for those Phy mains who are still around, Gunonno is a must-pull to get back on track.

For me the team thats giving me the most fun and best dmg yet is Gnonno, Lan, and Claudia. Its so bursty and the team has really good synergy. I even got to hit mvp on challenge raid today! Haboela 4pc has been a blessing to my dmg output. And also, I highly recommend you use Gnonno's trait if you can get used to using her skill to 2 octopus. That buff is very good and is easy to keep active when you learn the timing.

Just wondering if you took into consideration (or even know about it) there was a bug in test server where dimension level was affecting cactus stats, so you could deal ALOT more damage to them at lvl 10, decreasing on every upgrade until lvl 90. Parses were all over the place considering this bug can make Gnonno feel over/under powered depending on dimension lvl. You cant really compare previous tests of all other elements where the bug wasn't present, unless you had access to those weapons in test server in order to check the numbers again IMO. I appreciate the effort you put on every video, but i won't jump into conclusions until I test it on live servers. **Also thumbnail says "Gnunno", just in case you didn't notice and want to fix it ^-^ **

All with 0 stars. I want to replace 2 purple matrices and I have 160 yellow matrices-cashback. Advise me please what is better for me to take: 2 Frigg for an 8% frost attack that will work anywhere. Or take 2 Claudia? and then... far in the future... take another +2 Claudia. And give all 4 to Icarus.
Eventually working towards 4Claudia would definitely be the better long-term option! Frigg 2pc isn't bad, but Claudia has a lot more value with Icarus/Alyss ~

Umi A5, Fiona A1, Gunono A0 (coming soon A1) I think it's a good composition. But as for the matrices I use with crow and Samir, is Samir and shiro better? Since with Fiona I have 4/4 of shiro so I have doubts about that
how to do rotation with с3 lin correctly in altered team, I constantly have a field with a cooldown of 3 seconds, because of this I lose a lot of time. if I stay on gunono longer, then the tentacle stacks end. with any layouts with с3 lin, there is no normal rotation, or maybe I don't understand something?

As mentioned in the disclaimers, there was a bug with Umi main DPS in the test server that made it unplayable. However, Umi main DPS at A6 is actually better to use than Gnonno. I'll be uploading a follow-up rotation guide shortly ~
For someone who skipped Fiona is Lin Umi Guno good or Claudia Umi Guno is better all A6? Ready to take the hardest rotation but no idea how for these lineup.
Why not annabella with lan gnonno you charge really fast with annabella and you have two ammo units with flamereso and balance reso to buff both flame and phy you also get grievous on the flame team.
Gnonno provides much more damage than Claudia (it's a completely different damage focus, doing mainly physical damage), though the Claudia altered team is still useful for sequential
Gunonoo altered you're doing mostly physical damage (same with fenrir altered). With Claudia, altered dmg is the main dmg sources with Claudia buffing alter dmg even more. So both of them has different use case.
hello maygi so I managed to get lucky and I get Fiona and Lin both at A0 atm. I also now have Claudia at A2.. should i pull for gnono or should i pull for fiona and Lin instead? should I tried to A1 Fiona then A3 Lin?

You want to use Claudia's discharge only half the time, because every time you do, you'll also gain charge with her skill, and end up discharging to Fiona as well, and won't be able to discharge into Gnonno. You'll alternate so then you can use Gnonno discharge and not run out of Octowhip.

You have like permanent grievous anyway from GNN's hold attack so it's not an issue - also the reason you go to Fiona first is because you can use Fiona's skill at 99% charge without even reaching full charge, meaning you actually do proc Grievous on your other weapon anyway
I hope Garnett’s little brother will be another flame tank. Most likely going to be DPS but I need a flame tank that synergize well with Lan and Huma is not it.
@@bytes021 we just need more tanks and supports in general. As of right now roles don’t really synergize well with each other. Most chars are just one man army DPS.

@@bytes021 indeed, which just points to the overall bigger problem of mis management of content pacing in this game. Adding more tanks and supports is only a temporary bandaid. In order to fix the root problem, they’d have to revamp the entire role system, rebalance all characters and re adjust the difficulty of enemies and mechanics. Of course that is far too late at this point in the game, so best they can do is shape the game in a way that benefits the current systems in place and the player’s interest in mind.
Not useless, the rotation is just ultra awkward - it would work a lot better with Umi as main DPS, which we'll have to test when the servers go live tomorrow!
Its the passive exclusively for physical weapons. Like freeze for frost, burning for flame and paralyzed for volt. Grievous is for physical. It gives you a 20% dmg boost which is the best passive of all elements. You activate these passives by hitting enemies while having full charge on ur discharge

With some investment yes. And with investment i mean fiona. Claudia a6 or Umi A3. If you dont have Umi a3. Claudia a6 and Gunonno will outperform Fenrir.
That should be the case since Gunonno has good charge and good shatter. Also shiro is kinda clunky to use bc of her long cd on her skill and bad discharge.
She is the most f2p phys unit out of all. (Finally). But it still depends on your support weapons. Fiona is fine at A0 but either Umi needs to be a3 or your Claudia needs to be a6. Umi is a must at a3. But claudia is usable at a1. However the more advancements you have on claudia the stronger gnonno becomes

It's hard to recommend pulling Lin at this point. Gnonno is a pretty strong pickup, I'd pick her up then run Claudia + Fiona + GNN

If you don't have Fiona, definitely try to grab 1 copy! She does wonders for Physical because Maelstrom is so op ~

Not really - it's not a discharge damage focused team, it's still essentially mainly focusing on Gnonno's output!

Every team is better with Fiona so that's not saying much
Meanwhile Lin was a must for every comp when she 1st released. And Fiona replaced lin in almost any comp
Would A0 be worth it over A6 shiro (currently A6 Shiro, A3 Fiona, A6 Claudia)?
If not i‘m ditching phys alltogether.
That should be the case since Gunonno has good charge and good shatter. Also shiro is kinda clunky to use bc of her long cd on her skill and bad discharge.

She is the most f2p phys unit out of all. (Finally). But it still depends on your support weapons. Fiona is fine at A0 but either Umi needs to be a3 or your Claudia needs to be a6. Umi is a must at a3. But claudia is usable at a1. However the more advancements you have on claudia the stronger gnonno becomes

Nice Gunono rotations, team variations, shieldbreak/damage/offfield/grievUtility. All good. But. That spraying pink sh*t with white number explosions over all screen... Eugh, that dev colorist must have some pink trauma to push that much PINK for Ice-Volt-Phys in male-oriented game. -_-
