right. I was talking to my daughter about this yesterday. She was talking about how school food is so gross. I told her, that’s all I ate when I was younger. But school food was wayyyyy better 20 years ago. I loved it. 😆 made sure I ate it all.

I feel you Loni, we ate once a day too! My father would keep all the government money and he didn’t buy food. He didn’t work. My siblings and I had a horrible childhood.

Me and my sisters were so hungry one time we sat in our little chairs in front of the wall and ate peeled paint. Some of us have really sad stories from child poverty. Child poverty is a huge problem.

Improper nourishment in your youth can have devastating, long-term consequences to health, both mental and physical. Let’s champion responsible parenting, with both parents present in a stable financial, emotional, and physical environment. That is what children deserve!

In my family EVERYONE had a bar in their home. I mean a fully stocked, beer on tap bar. When a friend came over, she was shocked. I remember saying " your parents don't have a bar? How do you make extra money if you don't play bartender and make drinks at your parents party?" 😖🤦🏽♀️🤣🤣🤣..all of my cousins could make you just about any drink by the time we were 10ish 🤷🏽♀️
