They need to make the 3rd one about green goblin with a symbiote side story slowly evolving around carnage. Have the original symbiote find its way to Harry and reviving him in time when Carnage is at large. Carnage being to powerful for both Miles and Peter have Venom be playable again and save both of their lives fighting Carnage. That could easily top this game. Have new villians like chameleon and morbius introduced.
Red Goblin would be a VERY good idea to go for as well. Have Norman fail against Spiderman and then go Red Venom after Carnage chooses to become the Red Goblin and leave Cletus. Though it seems like they teased Knull a LOT in this game, so its possible that is 'end game'
I want either red goblin or absolute carnage(since insomniac pull off a king of black inspired invasion in this game)
@@BelfrostStudios red goblin would be soo dope. I feel like Knull should be left for a Venom spin off game he doesn’t seem popular enough to be the villian for spiderman to end the franchise. But then again neither was Mr Negative but here we are.

Why do people even want to see carnage in the third game? Is everyone really so eager to see yet another shitty rendition of pegi 13 carnage with no blood who just goes around knocking people out? Nerd culture is fucking dead, all you people need is to see the shit you recognise from the comic books on the screen, doesn't even matter if it's done well, just as long as sony keeps jingling those keys in front of your face you're entertained.
They sorta kinda turned Venom into General Zod in a way, didnt they? Like the whole plot is he wants to take over earth to "cure" it and turn it into a Symbiote Utopia. Thats kinda what Zod wants for Krypton and Earth in DC. Except Venom basically turns people into Zombies to make his ends meet, as well as terraforming, rather than just full blown nuking earth like Zod would.
Unrelated too but I loved how they really upped the body horror aspects of Venom for this game. Made him into a John Carpenter movie monster, and that's fucking amazing because the original Venom was meant to be something similar, it's no longer a CGI mess or just a black liquid that slowly turns into a costume. It's a parasitic alien that actually moves with the animalistic tendancies of a parasite. Fuckin great.

@@lucasbroome1048 How so? Spiderman 2 is a major upgraded version of all previous Spiderman games combined altogether.
@@mavvynne444 The combat feels a whole lot slower and intense than Web of Shadows. Some of the slo mo in PS4/PS5 I felt throughout the games would be a little awkwardly timed. For WOS, there was intensity
Also, I think the choreography for the combat was better
@@mavvynne444they didn’t take much from web of shadows, no Air combat, wall combat, switching symbiotes without menu, swinging mechanics.
It would have been cool to keep Scream around. Remember the Ultimate Spider-Woman? That could have been done here, allowing us to play as Peter, Miles, AND Mary Jane in the final battle. The cure, the lightning, and the monster versus the devil that took over Manhattan. It would have been awesome.
That was a neat easter egg with the ice cream truck that read Scream on it.

I really hate Knull but man, I trust Insomniac so if they decide to expand on that I'm open to seeing where they take it.
I agree. Knull feels like a symbol of everything that's gone wrong with Symbiotes in the comics of the 21st Century. Just really overly complicated and trying too hard to be edgy. BUT I also trust Insomniac to make the right choice.
I don't think they'll do Knull though, unless we get a Venom or Toxin spin-off game.

He isn't dead. They made it appear that way. But he's not dead. They establish in this game that just like in the comics, part of the symbiote remains bonded to its host permanently at the cellular level. Harry definitely has Venom still in him, but a dormant version, or dormant offspring of the original Venom. This will likely, imo, lead to Harry becoming Agent Venom, Eddie Brock getting a symbiote and becoming a villain for a short period before becoming the lethal protector, and multiple symbiotes and Spider-People fighting Red Goblin in the 4th game.
Low-key also unrelated but I hope Spider-Man 3 gives a reason for Miles to not be around so that Peter can fight Green Goblin all on his own.

MJ was such a boring and cry baby of a character. The only thing that made her a character was that she was in a relationship with Spider-Man. As Scream all she said was “life is hard” and “I should be more important” and “Spider-Man can save everyone AFTER he saves ME”
The whole point of that is that the symbiote amplifies all of your negative aspects. She doesn't completely believe that. The symbiote just takes those intrusive thoughts and lets them control you. Also MJ did a lot of stuff in this game. She was right there facing off against Venom at the end with the two Spider-Men
