I LOVED "Fast X", but I really do hope they do it as a 2-parter rather than trilogy. I would much prefer an AMAZING 11th film to close everything out than to prolong it for two more movies over presumably 5 years. I guess the box office will make that decision for them.
I would actually like the second part of this trilogy be a sequel to Hobbs and Shaw because it was pretty well set up since they are the only major characters confirmed alive. Shaw needs Hobbs’ help to find his mom and Hobbs needs Shaw’s help because Dante has his daughter probably. I would like to see a return for Owen and hattie Shaw and Roman reigns ofc. After this all of that could lead to Dante winning and the aftermath of both losses dealt in fast x part 2 where they reunite with dom and his family
@jaimehra8222 ngl, that's actually a very solid idea! But I think that if they are gonna make a trilogy out of it, then they need to make the other 2 parts in 3 years, cause for me. Leaving it too long won't be good for the audience cause they would just lose interest. Fast X part 2 is a guarantee no matter what, that's what we know right? But part 3 is more up in the air rather than it being confirmed. Box office numbers would probably decide. But let's just say they do 3 parts. Personally part 2 should come next year but not as early as you think. Possibly in September October period should be fine. But 6 months-8 months more than that, it's way too long. And part 3 coming anywhere during 2026 or hell, even late 2025. Shoot them.back to back! Why the f not.
@@jaimehra8222 that’s a great idea. I agree with not dragging this story out over 3 movies but a high action part 2. But we need a Hobbs and Shaw sequel and that idea would be a great story.
Man Tokyo drift is easily one of the best movies in the franchise... Its literally the Karate kid, but with cars. My top 3 in order are: Fast Five, The Fast and the furious, and Tokyo drift. They're all "unique", in that they're carbon copies of other great films, but with fast cars. And that's somehow just so much fun.
It's weird. He says he doesn't like that it's too much about racing and belongs in a different franchise but it's in the same universe. Like Ant man compared to winter soldier. Rank it on its own!
Am I the only one that misses when the movies were actually about street racing and car culture? I don’t know a single thing about cars, but to me I just preferred the first few movies over the newer ones. 1 and 3 are tied for the best for me, and while it’s definitely not about racing, Fast Five is very entertaining and enjoyable to watch
Nah I miss it too. Although I enjoy the whackiness, I prefer the series most when it’s grounded and about racing. Tokyo is my favorite and the first one is my second favorite 👍
Yes, but it could only continue for so long and where they went in fast five was a natural progression for the franchise. However I don't like the fact that they seem to need to push boundaries and get more ridiculous with each movie
Most definitely, the 6th movie needs a full blown actor panel on what made it culminate as “third” chapter in the prequel series of the franchise. I’ve always looked at the franchise as 1, 2, 4 5, 6, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10. But with 4, 5, 6, and 7 as it’s own mythos with Hobbs being the teams villain and the Shaw family becoming their archenemies families against familes. The only thing where that got disjointed is with the 8th film basically doing a 180 with the character backstories with Elena and Dom. It made sense but the writers and even Vin tried to retcon and make the franchise about Dom, Letty and Elena. The OG made sure that Brian Dom Mia and Letty were the original backstory, that’s what sets up the story for 4 5 and 6 but it was made more about Brian and Lettys sidebarish relationship that put the team in London and now it’s about Mother Shaw and Dom.
i hate what did they did with sean and his gang in fast 9. from a top dog of the underground street racing scene in japan turned into a hopeless amateur rocket scientist with a pontiac fiero
Furious 6 is the best of the franchise imo. I think it does everything from over the top action sequences to character moments at its best of the franchise. Followed by Fast Five and the original. I actually enjoy this franchise tremendously and they are great guilty pleasures. However, it is running out of gas and i hope the next one is the last.
@@thehahvokexperience While nobody has an exact ranking as one another, I feel like there are some general areas of where things tend to gravitate towards on people's orders
As the years go by, the more I appreciate fast five. One of my favourite heist films but it is the perfect tone for the series. The right amount of really stupid stuff but also just a well made film with well realized characters and stakes. The opening action scene is stellar work. Every time I watch it I always forget Letty is not in it which I guess goes to show how disposable I find her character Nice to see another Hobbs and shaw enjoyer. I’ve seen a lot of hate for it but I always enjoy Dwayne and Statham’s chemistry. The movie is so stupid but I still enjoy that.
Fast X was really good. Gotta realize it’s a Part 2 coming soon. Plus Jason Momoa, Brie Larson and Daniela Melchior were amazing in the movie. Bravo to Vin Diesel choose those people
People keep bringing up Dom not mentioning his brother as a plot hole, but he practically disowned his brother after finding out he caused their father's death. So, why would he mention him if he wants to forget about him? And characters like Mia and Letty would know that bringing up Jakob would just upset Dom.
5, 6 and 7 are the only three i like rewatching and they are the most entertaining for me. 8 is also quite good although a step down from the previous ones.
@@SeanChandlerTalksAbout Most fans have no clue there was another movie called "Better Luck Tomorrow" featuring Han Lue. It is absolutely apart of the franchise and should be on the list. Watch it but also check the career of the director. He's directed several of these movies.

Also, for some reason now every time I rewatch Tokyo Drift I’m reminded of Initial D and one of my favorite mangas, Holyland. Just wanted to say that too 😂 (def recommended for those interested 👍)

As a point of reference, I rewatched and took notes on all of these movies over the last two and a half months. These are my updated thoughts on all of these films 11. F9: The Fast Saga-While the action is bigger and the soap opera is more outlandish, I basically hate this movie for making its action so overblown that none of it is exciting or enjoyable in the slightest amount 10. Fast X-I can’t say that this movie was a true return to form for this franchise, but because my expectations were very low, I was able to have an okay time with this movie because of actually feeling like people were in danger and events actually mattered to what was happening As a point of reference, I genuinely enjoy and would go positive on the rest of these movies 9. Fast & Furious-I don’t think that this movie has aged all that well when it comes to its structure and action sequences, but it’s still enjoyable for it being the movie where the family is fully formed 8. The Fate of the Furious-This is definitely where the franchise started to lose its way, but I still have a good time with all of the silly action sequences and enjoyable actors playing enjoyable characters 7. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift-Even though it definitely has a certain Straight-to-Video quality to it and it’s the oddball in this series, that’s kind of the reason why I like this movie and find it endearing in a lot of ways 6. 2 Fast 2 Furious-It’s definitely the Fast & Furious equivalent of cotton candy, but I’ve always had a good time with this movie for the lightweight entertainment that it is 5. Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw-It’s not quite as enjoyable as several of the actual Fast & Furious films, but I still have a lot of fun with this movie for the pairing of the leads and the ridiculous action sequences 4. Furious 7-It has all of the ridiculousness of the previous two films, but it’s mixed together quite well with a very heartfelt send-off for Paul Walker that honors him in a great way 3. The Fast and the Furious-Even though it’s very much a film from the early 2000’s, I’ve really enjoyed going back to this movie over the years for its characters and how this franchise has expanded and evolved in the past twenty two years 2. Fast & Furious 6-A movie that builds upon the previous film’s ridiculous action sequences, soap opera conflict, and charismatic stars, making this a highly entertaining entry to this franchise 1. Fast Five-It has great scenery, great car stunts, fantastic family dynamic, a solid story structure, and the perfect mix of grounded and stupid, so when you put it all together, this is far from a perfect movie, but it’s the perfect Fast & Furious film, which makes for the best movie in this franchise, and it’s not even close
1. Furious 7: When I was young I never watched these movies, I hated on them because of the low review scores. It wasn’t until I saw the first trailer for this movie in front of Interstellar that I became interested in seeing this movie. The skydriving scene is my favorite action sequence in the entire series and the Abu Dhabi tower Jump isn’t far behind. The ending for Paul Walker was one of the greatest endings of any movie, very emotional. This movie means the most to me so it gets #1. #2. Fast Five: This is definitely the best film in the saga, but as I haven’t seen it in theaters I don’t have quite the attachment to this movie that I do to Furious 7. This is the film where you get the most of what makes this franchise great. Almost every important character in the entire saga appears in this movie, and you feel the excitement when they start coming together. Excellent movie. 3. The Fate Of The Furious: A movie I enjoy more than most people. It released around my birthday and I had a really good day the day I went to see it. I usually like my F&F movies to be more over the top than the originals street racing films, and this film’s action is some of my favorite. The wrecking ball, the zombie cars, the baby fight. I’m also a fan of snow based locations for action scenes so that final battle was right up my alley. I really enjoy the Hobbs/Shaw dynamic. I think Charlize Theron was best used in this movie, and it’s awesome to see Furiosa be a part of this world. I think this movie is awesome. 4. Fast & Furious 6: The First F&F movie I ever saw, because it was the first one I had access to. I could really use a rewatch of it now that I’m fully caught up, which I plan to do tonight. I remember thoroughly enjoying the action of this movie, but none of the emotion, settings or set pieces measure up to the movies I ranked ahead of it. The tank battle and runway chase are really well done I just find the Submarine battle more interesting to look at for instance. 5. Fast X: Jason Momoa is outstanding in this movie. John Cena is used way better here than he was in F9. Daniela Melchior’s character was a nice inclusion in my opinion, and it was nice to see Elena get a reverent moment in the movie. This is another movie that really benefits from choosing a great location. Having the early action sequence set in Rome really heightened things for me as a huge Assassin’s Creed fan. We got a race, and a decent cliffhanger that we’ll have to wait a decent while to see resolved. 6. F&F Presents: Hobbs & Shaw: This is a really awesome movie in and of itself. As a F&F movie it feels really out of universe with some really wild shit happening even for the world they inhabit. But it is an awesome time and like I said for Fate of the Furious, I really enjoy the Hobbs/Shaw dynamic. Vanessa Kirby is also a great addition to the franchise I hope we see in F11. 7. Fast & Furious: I had avoided this movie for a long time because of the poor reputation I saw online. I finally saw it this year before Fast X and I gotta say I enjoyed watching it. The tanker heist is better than any action scene from the previous three movies. Basically this movie doesn’t feel as dated as the ones before it so I have it ranked a little higher. 8. The Fast And The Furious: This movie really nailed the casting. Without nailing the cast there wouldn’t be this huge franchise. The story is Point Break with cars and honestly it does look very dated. I didn’t grow up with this movie, so I don’t have nostalgia for it, but I do enjoy it every time I’ve watched it. 9. 2 Fast 2 Furious: Same story as F&F. I avoided this movie until this year, and when I watched it I had a really good time. It was just great to see some Brian, Roman, and Tej at their beginning. The driving and action was way better in this one than the original but the original had a better story and Dom so this one narrowly loses the spot above. 10. F9: The Fast Saga: I love my F&F over the top, but for some reason this movie didn’t do it for me. I love John Cena in a lot of his stuff but this felt like just making him act like a boring tough guy, none of his personality got to shine through. I’m glad they fixed it in Fast X because I am glad to have Cena around…The rope swing and the magnet cars are cool to see but the locations aren’t really memorable for me here. I love Han but the way they brought him back made absolutely no sense at all and he hasn’t really gotten to do much now that he’s been back. I do like that this movie worked the Tokyo Drift crew into the family as it made that movie all the more connected to the Saga. Space was cool to see but I guess it was cooler as a what if because it wasn’t as cool as I thought it would be. 11. Tokyo Drift: I can watch and enjoy this movie, but it’s the one I feel the need to rewatch the least. Han is an awesome character and it’s great to spend some time with him here, but the way they presented his death here definitely conflicts with future movies.
When I watch the Fate of the Furious I follow the plot and know that Dom is still the lead and never was the villain, it's a great action movie that goes next level
My personal ranking, as a fan of this franchise since the age of 8: 11. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift There is a big gap between my no. 11 and my number 10. All of the following ones I rewatch at least once a year 10. The Fast and the Furious 9. Hobbs & Shaw 8. Fast & Furious 7. 2 Fast 2 Furious 6. The Fate of the Furious 5. F9 4. Fast X The next 3 are all in my top 10 favorite action movies 3. Furious 7 The team dynamic is what pushes these last 2 to the top, so I am beyond excited for Fast 11, now that we essentially have the entire team back. 2. Fast & Furious 6 1. Fast Five I'll be honest, over the years I've heard a lot of criticisms about this franchise, but what it means to me as a movie fan, and as a person in general will never be undermined. The fact that this group of people keep delivering to the fans of this franchise, without concerning themselves with the general public per se is something I really appreciate. Also, I think the appeal these movies have for international audiences, which I am a part of, is not talked about enough. Fate of the Furious had like more than 80% of its box-office from international markets. I believe that being able to speak to such a diverse group, with social and cultural backgrounds that are nothing alike speaks a lot in terms of the messaging and themes of these movies that people make fun of all the time
@@EazyRocko true, but once again, F&F 5,6, and 7 are among my favorite action films of all time, so I don't set that kind of expectation walking into a new one, just like I don't set Lord of the Rings level expectations on the Dune movies

Why am i so sure that in the next ranking sean will put fast x at the bottom half and is going to say: "and on these most recent rewatch i started to see that the franchise at this time had way too many characters that really aren't necessary to such a straight race plot like this and so you are forced to split them into multiple sidequest and the problem is you lose momentum and it becomes hard to follow, also for a franchise that has this amount of money behind it the effects look at times unforgivably silly, and when you end on a cliffhanger you don't deliver a satisfying conclusion, so this time it dropped hard"
Maybe. These movies play well in theaters But Moving to the back half literally only means scooting back one spot. 🤷🏻♀️ F9 dropped hard. Hobbes and Shaw has stayed in 2nd. Fate of the Furious was always pretty low. F9 is the only one where time pushed it way down.

It’s funnny but once you pass that 35 age I find most people don’t like Tokyo Drift. Definitely think it’s a generational thing as well how much you like that movie
I noticed that as well. Millennials and Gen X don’t seem to be big fans of that entry. Personally, it’s my favorite but I am 23 so it might have something to do with that.
@@jayfreeman5117: I think you’re thinking Gen Z bud which I just qualify in the older bracket I believe at 26. I honestly almost had a heart attack seeing the 11th pick, I feel like the franchise went from the best car centric racing movies to being among the worst spy films around and i enjoy a good spy movie but i would rather watch any other spy movie just about or even Cars 2 over anything after Fast Five. I do agree with you about 2 Fast 2 Furious it was a bit silly, very funny and the characters are amazing and I much prefer a cops/robbers with cars type plot than the racers turned globetrotting space invading international spies.
I always look forward to your franchise ranking videos. It's very possible that 6 thru 2 completely change on the next re-watch. I really enjoyed Fast & Furious (2009) after re-watching it recently. My List 1. Fast Five What can I say one of the greatest action movies ever. Everything here clicked 2. Fast & Furious 6 similarly to 5 just a blast to watch insane action sequences that stay with you 3. Fast X might because it was my first one in theaters but I had a BLAST watching this with an audience also Momoa just chews up the scenery easily the best villain in the franchise with a clear and personal motive 4. Furious 7 it’s mostly ranked this high cuz of the Paul tribute because as a film it’s abit messy it’s got 2 plots clashing with one another 5. Fast & Furious I know this has always been the forgettable one and even I can admit that but I don’t know I enjoyed the more serious tone to this one and the focus on character 6. The Fast & The Furious The OG I love it but that final act always has been kinda meh to me the chase with Johnny Tran feels anticlimactic in hindsight compared to the rest of the franchise 7. 2 Fast 2 Furious My Personal Favorite grew up watching it constantly I can probably quote the entire script 8. F9 I actually don’t hate this one as much as everyone else the flashback sequences wit Dom and Jakob were a nice touch 9. Hobbs & Shaw it’s a fun turn your brain off film but ion know I enjoyed Hobbs & Shaw’s dynamic in tiny doses more than an entire runtime 10. Tokyo Drift love the OST and the location of Japan but besides Han I don’t care about anyone in the film the lead actor just doesn’t cut it 11. Fate of the Furious outside of the opening part in Cuba the setting being in the US and then a CG Russia made for a boring looking movie this is the most boring in the franchise to me

Fast 5 and 7 are the only ones worth watching. Hobbs & Shaw felt so generic. Can't wait for your Indiana Jones ranking, Sean. I expect it to be 1, 3, 2, 4, and 5.

I haven't seen a couple of the earlier installments, but I'd rank the ones I have seen thus: 1. Furious 7 (Great way to send off Paul Walker's character and should have been the end of the franchise IMO) 2. Hobbs & Shaw (Something different than the main series films, but very entertaining with lots of comedic elements and solid action sequences, plus the characters play off each other very well) 3. Fast & Furious 6 (Some of the best action sequences and one of the strongest from a story perspective) 4. The Fate of the Furious (Very entertaining, but starting to feel stale) 5. The Fast and the Furious (Good initial entry of the franchise) 6. Fast Five (Action was great in this one, but the story was weak even by this franchise's standards) 7. Tokyo Drift (Not horrible, but not really good either) 8. Fast X (Felt like it was grasping for anything to extend the life of the franchise and had a very abrupt, unsatisfying ending) 9. F9 (Too over the top ridiculous to take at all seriously)
Tokyo drift has fantastic, realistic action that isn’t driven a straight line. Real rivalries and connections. Way better than the newer movies which are more about guns then cars
I agree with him about the main characters in Tokyo Drift being in high school that just didn’t seem realistic and was probably the ONLY thing about the movie that bothered me a little, but besides that I don’t think it should be in last place
My list… 1. The fast and the furious 2. Fast and furious 6 3. Fast five 4. Furious 7 5. Tokyo drift 6. Fast x 7. F9 8. Hobbs & Shaw 9. 2 Fast 2 Furious 10. Fate of the furious 11. Fast and furious 4
Just want idris to come back as Brixton. He deserves his shine in a huge, billion dollar blockbuster like the fast movies. And after fast x, anything is on the table for returns 😂 PS: if fast and furious really fumbles the bag on the greatest potential on screen fight in the franchise (won’t say who for fast x spoilers) that would be unbelievable, sitting right there after fast 9
Tokyo drifting is probably in the top 3 of this franchise. I mean, there is drifting, good looking cars, dope race scenes and a dope final boss battle. I mean what would you want more?
I'm rewatching these movies before I watch fast X. I used to be critical of these movies, but I forgot how enjoyable these movies are. Currently, I'm halfway through fast five. After I'm done watching all of them, I will rank these movies. So, to quote Arnold Schwarzenegger "I'll be back."
My ranking of the franchise: 1) Furious 7 2) Fast Five 3) Hobbs and Shaw 4) The Fast and the furious 5) Fast Six 6) The Fate of the Furious 7) Fast X 8) 2 fast 2 Furious 9) Fast and Furious 10) F9 11) Tokyo Drift
@@jaimehra8222 that’s an awesome idea
@@jasonnewman1118 movies take a while to make. With the writing strike, I doubt we’ll get it by next year
Man Tokyo drift is easily one of the best movies in the franchise... Its literally the Karate kid, but with cars. My top 3 in order are: Fast Five, The Fast and the furious, and Tokyo drift.
They're all "unique", in that they're carbon copies of other great films, but with fast cars. And that's somehow just so much fun.
Yeah, I didn't care much fornit when I saw a few years back, but on rewatch it's one of my favs of the franchise.
It's weird. He says he doesn't like that it's too much about racing and belongs in a different franchise but it's in the same universe. Like Ant man compared to winter soldier. Rank it on its own!
its alright
W ranking, as a movie itself i think Tokyo Drift is farily average, but an average movie in general means a great movie for Fast and Furious
I do to but let’s be honest do we want an entire franchise of just street racing
That would have no legs in Hollywood a franchise had to evolve
Yes, but it could only continue for so long and where they went in fast five was a natural progression for the franchise. However I don't like the fact that they seem to need to push boundaries and get more ridiculous with each movie
Me too
Finally someone respects fast and furious 6
It's my favourite
No, the ending is unforgivable. Second best race tho
@@DanielHall-rm4fx mine too
People love that movie Wym lol
With solid direction and a great final scene, I think 'Furious 7' is going to *DRIVE* it's way to #1
Or 5 that seems to be the most popular
"Solid direction" you're kidding right?
I'm sorry if I sounded like a jerk but Furious 7 is not a well-directed movie I'm sorry it just isn't.
Bet it’s not even top 3. Maybe 4 or 5

i hate what did they did with sean and his gang in fast 9. from a top dog of the underground street racing scene in japan turned into a hopeless amateur rocket scientist with a pontiac fiero
Fast X was better than Fast 9... Still though, the franchise has gone off the rails....
I think it's better than Fate of the Furious as well
I enjoyed it more then 8,9, and the one Letty dies in.
@@domokun8644 4,8, and 9 are my least favorite F&F movies as well
F7 is by far my favorite. Aside from the dumb street fight ending, everything about that movie is GOATED

As the years go by, the more I appreciate fast five. One of my favourite heist films but it is the perfect tone for the series. The right amount of really stupid stuff but also just a well made film with well realized characters and stakes. The opening action scene is stellar work. Every time I watch it I always forget Letty is not in it which I guess goes to show how disposable I find her character
Nice to see another Hobbs and shaw enjoyer. I’ve seen a lot of hate for it but I always enjoy Dwayne and Statham’s chemistry. The movie is so stupid but I still enjoy that.
Wow I just realized letty isn’t even in it 😂. It’s self contained to other characters
this franchise has been riding the high off of Fast Five for 13 years, that's how important and awesome that film was.
12 years
How can you love something so damn bad lol. Wish the franchise stopped after Furious 7.
There's one thing riding on Tokyo Drift: it has the most grounded driving/action stunts, which - in a movie about cars - is a huge up.
Fast X was really good. Gotta realize it’s a Part 2 coming soon. Plus Jason Momoa, Brie Larson and Daniela Melchior were amazing in the movie. Bravo to Vin Diesel choose those people

@@ricknash730 He's definitely a Brie Larson hater.
People keep bringing up Dom not mentioning his brother as a plot hole, but he practically disowned his brother after finding out he caused their father's death. So, why would he mention him if he wants to forget about him? And characters like Mia and Letty would know that bringing up Jakob would just upset Dom.
Exactly, like why would Dom want to talk about someone he blames for his father's death

As a point of reference, I rewatched and took notes on all of these movies over the last two and a half months. These are my updated thoughts on all of these films
11. F9: The Fast Saga-While the action is bigger and the soap opera is more outlandish, I basically hate this movie for making its action so overblown that none of it is exciting or enjoyable in the slightest amount
10. Fast X-I can’t say that this movie was a true return to form for this franchise, but because my expectations were very low, I was able to have an okay time with this movie because of actually feeling like people were in danger and events actually mattered to what was happening
As a point of reference, I genuinely enjoy and would go positive on the rest of these movies
9. Fast & Furious-I don’t think that this movie has aged all that well when it comes to its structure and action sequences, but it’s still enjoyable for it being the movie where the family is fully formed
8. The Fate of the Furious-This is definitely where the franchise started to lose its way, but I still have a good time with all of the silly action sequences and enjoyable actors playing enjoyable characters
7. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift-Even though it definitely has a certain Straight-to-Video quality to it and it’s the oddball in this series, that’s kind of the reason why I like this movie and find it endearing in a lot of ways
6. 2 Fast 2 Furious-It’s definitely the Fast & Furious equivalent of cotton candy, but I’ve always had a good time with this movie for the lightweight entertainment that it is
5. Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw-It’s not quite as enjoyable as several of the actual Fast & Furious films, but I still have a lot of fun with this movie for the pairing of the leads and the ridiculous action sequences
4. Furious 7-It has all of the ridiculousness of the previous two films, but it’s mixed together quite well with a very heartfelt send-off for Paul Walker that honors him in a great way
3. The Fast and the Furious-Even though it’s very much a film from the early 2000’s, I’ve really enjoyed going back to this movie over the years for its characters and how this franchise has expanded and evolved in the past twenty two years
2. Fast & Furious 6-A movie that builds upon the previous film’s ridiculous action sequences, soap opera conflict, and charismatic stars, making this a highly entertaining entry to this franchise
1. Fast Five-It has great scenery, great car stunts, fantastic family dynamic, a solid story structure, and the perfect mix of grounded and stupid, so when you put it all together, this is far from a perfect movie, but it’s the perfect Fast & Furious film, which makes for the best movie in this franchise, and it’s not even close
boy thank god for that
Drift being last is ridiculous man lol but I respect it I guess
Ya that's the only one I really like lol

I'll be honest, over the years I've heard a lot of criticisms about this franchise, but what it means to me as a movie fan, and as a person in general will never be undermined.

Maybe. These movies play well in theaters
But Moving to the back half literally only means scooting back one spot. 🤷🏻♀️
F9 dropped hard. Hobbes and Shaw has stayed in 2nd. Fate of the Furious was always pretty low. F9 is the only one where time pushed it way down.
@@SeanChandlerTalksAboutST X IS THE BEST ONE SO FAR COMPLETELY OVERALL!!! ITS GROUNDED DENSE STORY AND INSANE ACTION AND CLIFFHANGER AND TWISTS AND CAMEOS AND LETTY, MMM, V CYPHER AND DOM V DONTE AND THE SCORE AND VISUAL LOOK AND RETURN TO THE RACING AND ELEVATINGLY AMPING UP OF THE SAGA RIGHT HERE MAKE IT THE 100% BEST ONE FAST X!!!! THE TIE WITH FAST FIVE IS THE ICINGONTHECAKE!!
6 and 7 are the best
The amount of times he says wacky is wild
1,5, and 7 are just golden
I haven’t seen Fast X yet so i didn’t include it, but this is my ranking

5. Fast and Furious 6
6. F8
7. Fast and Furious
8. 2 Fast 2 Furious
9. Hobbs & Shaw
10. F9
Furious 7 still remains as my favorite, as it has my favorite action sequences, some of my favorite cars, and it has my favorite character as the villain. Not to mention the emotionally perfect ending which speaks for itself. I also thoroughly enjoy Fast and Furious 6, Fast Five, and Hobbs and Shaw.
Gotta be honest tho… wasn’t a big fan of Fast X, for a few reasons but mainly cus of Dante. A Joker/Jack Sparrow knockoff just doesn’t work in this universe for me. I enjoy villains that are a fun balance of funny yet threatening, but he was just downright deranged and unpleasant to watch with the exception of a couple lines of his dialogue.
Great ranking Sean. I still have to watch Fast X but as of now my ranking from my favorite to my least favorite Is

If you really put 5 as number 1 you don't know what you're talking about. Part 1 and Tokyo Drift are by far the best
@@DarthRaider That's a good top 3 but I think Fast 5 is better than Tokyo Drift
@@booboo4ever24 the only bad thing about part 3 was the replacement of the actors. Story and racing wise it was excellent
I’ve only seen each once (except for Furious 7, which I’ve seen twice), and most of them I saw six years ago, but here is my ranking:
1.) Furious 7
2.) Fast & Furious 6
3.) Fast Five
4.) F9
5.) Hobbs & Shaw
6.) The Fate of the Furious
7.) The Fast and the Furious
8.) 2 Fast 2 Furious

9. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
10. 2 Fast 2 Furious
11. F9
As the son of a mechanic, I absolutely adore the car culture in the first three movies. Afterward, eh... Maybe I'll like them.
11: Fast & Furious 4 - I dont really remember anything of it.
10: 2 Fast 2 Furious - No Dom, unintersting plot, totally unforgettable.
9: Tokyo Drift - Just Han saves this.
8: Hobbs & Shaw - Fresh air, but not really necessary.
7: Furious 6 - Opens up the new era of the FF-Franchise.
6: Fast & Furious 8 - Dom as a shorttime-villain wasnt a great idea, but the ice racing was pretty fun.
5: Fast X - Leterriers Style puts a new style in the franchise, yet the ideas are not that innovative.
4: The Fast and the Furious - Great start to a action franchise.
3: F9 - I enjoyed the magnet sequences.
2: Fast & Furious 7 - Maybe one of the best goodbyes.
1: Fast Five - The Heist-element is what makes this the best one for me.
My List:
11. Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift
10. 2 Fast 2 Furious
09. F9: The Fast Saga
08. Fast & Furious
07. The Fate Of The Furious
06. The Fast And The Furious
05. Fast X

02. Furious 7
01. Fast Five
It’s funnny but once you pass that 35 age I find most people don’t like Tokyo Drift. Definitely think it’s a generational thing as well how much you like that movie
I think it’s arguably the 3rd or 4th best film of the franchise
I noticed that as well. Millennials and Gen X don’t seem to be big fans of that entry.
Personally, it’s my favorite but I am 23 so it might have something to do with that.
@@jayfreeman5117: I think you’re thinking Gen Z bud which I just qualify in the older bracket I believe at 26.
But yeah, defo find it’s mainly last year Melenials and younger that really rate Tokyo Drift and I don’t see many people older that actually like it and they all have the same critique which is the high school element
I do love Sean’s reviews but the old Boomer is off on this one lol 😂
Not bad for a second generation fan, i actually (and very surprisingly) agree with most of your take. Good job dude
Sorry, I haven't been a fan of 2 Fast 2 Furious, but maybe in a few years, my opinion changes. It's weird cause last time I ranked these Fast & Furious 6 was my favorite.
11. 2 Fast 2 Furious
10. F9 The Fast Saga
09. Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs and Shaw
08. Fate of the Furious

04. Fast & Furious 4
03. Fast X
02. Furious 7
01. Fast Five
I don’t consider Hobbs and Shaw to be a fast and furious movie
My hopes is that it’s a trilogy because part two is Hobbs and Shaw two and then part three can be everybody together and put an end to the whole thing.
People saying f&f was about street racing is like saying point break was about surfing.
The series should have ended after the seventh.
1. Tokyo Drift
2. The Fast and the Furious
3. Fast and Furious 5
4. 2 Fast 2 Furious
5. Fast and Furious 7
Fast1 is the greatest car movie ever made
Probably the highest rating Hobbs vs shaws ever gotten
Was a gd movie though
My List
1. Fast Five What can I say one of the greatest action movies ever. Everything here clicked
2. Fast & Furious 6 similarly to 5 just a blast to watch insane action sequences that stay with you
3. Fast X might because it was my first one in theaters but I had a BLAST
watching this with an audience also Momoa just chews up the scenery easily the best villain in the franchise with a clear and personal motive
4. Furious 7 it’s mostly ranked this high cuz of the Paul tribute because as a film it’s abit messy it’s got 2 plots clashing with one another
5. Fast & Furious I know this has always been the forgettable one and even I can admit that but I don’t know I enjoyed the more serious tone to this one and the focus on character
6. The Fast & The Furious The OG I love it but that final act always has been kinda meh to me the chase with Johnny Tran feels anticlimactic in hindsight compared to the rest of the franchise
7. 2 Fast 2 Furious My Personal Favorite grew up watching it constantly I can probably quote the entire script
8. F9 I actually don’t hate this one as much as everyone else the flashback sequences wit Dom and Jakob were a nice touch
9. Hobbs & Shaw it’s a fun turn your brain off film but ion know I enjoyed Hobbs & Shaw’s dynamic in tiny doses more than an entire runtime
10. Tokyo Drift love the OST and the location of Japan but besides Han I don’t care about anyone in the film the lead actor just doesn’t cut it
11. Fate of the Furious outside of the opening part in Cuba the setting being in the US and then a CG Russia made for a boring looking movie this is the most boring in the franchise to me

Also Hobbs and Shaw was directed by the co director on John wick and Deadpool and bullet train
David Leitch. He also directed Atomic Blonde.
Take a drink every time Sean says, " CARS IN SPACE!". Spoiler: You'll be unconscious!
lol
I think that Hobbs and Shaw is the best film ever in the whole series. One of the reason is that my favorite car, McLaren 720S is the feature car in the movie 😁.

I’m still waiting to see Fast X
Sean why do you think the Fast Franchise kept bringing back Justin Lin as director even though his first couple of films weren't that great?
He made fast five and 6 which are the best ones in the franchise. By the time of F9 he must have got tired and couldnt deliver. Could b a reason he left fast x.

Fast 5 and 7 are the only ones worth watching. Hobbs & Shaw felt so generic. Can't wait for your Indiana Jones ranking, Sean. I expect it to be 1, 3, 2, 4, and 5.
People need to stop. Fast and Furious was never about cars. It is about a group of loner criminals joining a family. They complete hiest in the first movie

I haven't seen a couple of the earlier installments, but I'd rank the ones I have seen thus:
1. Furious 7 (Great way to send off Paul Walker's character and should have been the end of the franchise IMO)
2. Hobbs & Shaw (Something different than the main series films, but very entertaining with lots of comedic elements and solid action sequences, plus the characters play off each other very well)
3. Fast & Furious 6 (Some of the best action sequences and one of the strongest from a story perspective)
4. The Fate of the Furious (Very entertaining, but starting to feel stale)
5. The Fast and the Furious (Good initial entry of the franchise)
6. Fast Five (Action was great in this one, but the story was weak even by this franchise's standards)
7. Tokyo Drift (Not horrible, but not really good either)
8. Fast X (Felt like it was grasping for anything to extend the life of the franchise and had a very abrupt, unsatisfying ending)
9. F9 (Too over the top ridiculous to take at all seriously)
Dude. You forgot to rank the 4th one?
Tokyo drift has fantastic, realistic action that isn’t driven a straight line. Real rivalries and connections. Way better than the newer movies which are more about guns then cars
I agree with him about the main characters in Tokyo Drift being in high school that just didn’t seem realistic and was probably the ONLY thing about the movie that bothered me a little, but besides that I don’t think it should be in last place
1. The Fast And The Furious

8. Hobbs & Shaw
9. 2 Fast 2 Furious
10. Fate of the furious
11. Fast and furious 4
Just want idris to come back as Brixton. He deserves his shine in a huge, billion dollar blockbuster like the fast movies. And after fast x, anything is on the table for returns 😂
PS: if fast and furious really fumbles the bag on the greatest potential on screen fight in the franchise (won’t say who for fast x spoilers) that would be unbelievable, sitting right there after fast 9
Isn’t there a movie in the franchise called Better Luck Tomorrow? I remember Han was in it
Am I the only one who like Fate of the Furious? Lol
I loved Tokyo Drift way more than 1, 2 and specially 4. (Untill 5 came out, it was my favorite in the franchise)
My ranking of the franchise:
1) Furious 7
2) Fast Five
3) Hobbs and Shaw

6) The Fate of the Furious
7) Fast X
8) 2 fast 2 Furious
9) Fast and Furious
10) F9

I enjoy Tokyo drift, but not as a fast and furious movie. Also I love furious 7.
