How on earth did this woman ever get to be known as a world famous "Psychic"? Can anybody tell me what (if any) of her "predictions" actually came true?
Because she continuously and constantly promoted herself over so many years. And, apparently, enough gullible people bought into her (and at least some of her works, such as at least some of her books), with apparent favorability. This became to the extent that she basically became sort of regarded by enough people, I guess, like the queen of psychics or perhaps one of the supposed top-notch psychics around the world, or at least in the western world.
In 1978 my mother and for a visit with her because she was nervous about getting a divorce. At that time she was behind the Walgreens on Winchester and San Jose. At this building. My mom walked in and Sylvia looked at her and said "somebody's here is getting a divorce!". She also knew my mom had quite a few kids, even the color my mom's house would be describing it to inside of room. She was real deal as my mom says. Edit mom's distinguished retired doctor. People still don't always believe so she doesn't tell everyone. But in those days there was no way to look up on the Internet how many kids my mom had before she came in, mom didn't tell anyone in a divorcing my dad which she did. My mom also got a lot of healing out of attending some of the sessions Sylvia did teaching. I only found out about this a couple years ago.

This will tell you the family tree and the children of everyone, and what they where doing. Match the "Biblical Timelines" (years) to world history, because you can better know who was doing what by time. I remember watching her on Montel along time ago and she predicted that the year 2020 wouldn't be the end of the world, but the end of the world as we know it. I searched her looking specifically for that clip. Does anyone remember her saying that?
Back in the late 70s, my family used to get a reading with her and Sylvia was really good at that time and was accurate about her readings about my family. But as she got more famous, especially when she appeared in Montel more often, she seemed to let fame and money get to her so much that her own abilities diminished tremendously. All she's doing is mainly guessing without any intuition or having spiritual power and she had done this out of her own selfishness. If it wasnt for fame and greed, i feel she wouldve lived longer and healthier and she wouldve been a great medium.
She says her psychic powers come from God - when the Bible is firm that we should not dabble in the occult. The Bible also says that we cannot communicate with the dead. We can, however, communicate with demons - though I don't recommend it. I suspect that may be what she's doing.

What I do is I go to nursing homes,and play and sing music there. I feel in my heart that's what I was put on this earth for. I don't charge anything. It's all voluntary. Just a very good feeling to know that I am bringing those people in these places some joy and entertainment ☺ Most of the residents there are so lonely. It's very sad 😞 So,I just try my hardest to brighten up their day the best I can. Some people are right about 80% of their predictions, some people are right about 20%, some people are right about 0%, this is arbitrary. In this respect what do we base real or fake on? The amount of correct predictions? One thing she was wrong about is the broad statement of psychics not being able to read themselves, the problem is not that people can't read themselves, it's that we generally view ourselves from a first person subjective viewpoint, this viewpoint is often miopic and does not include seeing ourselves from the perspectives of the people whom we are impacted by and make impact upon. However, there are life experiences where that can happen as well, and when it does happen you can read your own life better than you'll read anyone elses. In 1978 my mother and for a visit with her because she was nervous about getting a divorce. At that time she was behind the Walgreens on Winchester and San Jose. At this building. My mom walked in and Sylvia looked at her and said "somebody's here is getting a divorce!". She also knew my mom had quite a few kids, even the color my mom's house would be describing it to inside of room. She was real deal as my mom says.

If she was a REAL psychic she would know that everyone has psychic abilities. Everyone has the gift to communicate with the other side, but it takes practice and meditation.
