That was interesting! As a 73 year old, I’ve been PowerLifting for the last 5 years. Last year I did deadlift 380 lbs, bench 220, and squat 260. It has really helped working with a certified personal trainer to correct my technique. I encourage, no matter your age, get up and do it.

After some family tragedies, loss of employment, I am now back to trying to get into shape and be healthy again. This time I decided to take a personalized diet plan from Onlymeal. I love my e z curl bar. Honestly I have never done many hammer curls over the years. I am actually making a video about that this week. I do chins, ten, to start then 7 sets of 6, then 8 sets of 4, for 84 altogether, then I do 3 sets of 13 concentration curls with a 30 pound dumb bell, this tires the muscle completely, which you shouldnt do with chin ups, the reason I do low reps for 8 sets to finish, I am building towards 8 sets of 10, which is what I did before an illness set me back
Great explanation ! Yes feeling your muscles as they work is very important, and then adjusting. Do you recommend full range of motion? As in moving the elbows rearwards to assist for the long head that crosses the shoulder joint?
@markkirkman8456 thak you. Sure or leaning forward slightly seems to work better for me. At 60 I am careful with full range of motion.
