Great video. I just purchased a Kymera board. What do you think about it so far? how is the battery life?
Thanks Louie! The battery life isn’t as long as I was hoping for. I get about 20-30 minutes and I weigh about 185 lbs. Probably would last longer for someone who weighs less but I haven’t tested that yet. It drops to a slower speed around 35% of charge still left. It is a lot of fun though. My battery charges much quicker than I thought it would however. After 2-3 hours of charging I can run it again. How long before you receive yours?
@@RichallenrealtorPA I should be receiving it in 6 weeks just in time to take it on vacation. When you say 20-30 min do you mean it’s full speeds for that time than it hits 35% and goes to slower speeds? Are you planning on putting any video of you riding it?
Yes full speed for about 20-30 minutes then it cuts out at 35% at a slower speed to get back where you need to go. I will be putting out more videos eventually, have some footage and just need to edit it!

@@RichallenrealtorPA do you find that you need to use your feet to steer? I tried leaning and seems to do nothing. If I put might right foot in the water I can go right and left to go left. Is there something I am doing wrong? I thought you leaned to turn. What’s your experience.

Hi Andrew, I can get close to 20 minutes on a single charge if I run it full throttle non-stop. Your typically not going to do that though so run times last longer!

The river I’m on is tough to have a jet ski, can get real shallow so this works good 👍

Base price in summer of 2020 was $3,895, then they had a preorder special where I got it for $400 off and I had to wait until early 2021 to receive it.

Do you have any kind of problems?
The only problem I’ve had was my battery did not charge to 100%, it only got to 92%. But Kymera sent me a box to send my battery back to them, they inspected my battery, fixed the problem, and sent it back.
@@RichallenrealtorPA Yeah my battery did the same thing and lost long at all! It cuts into safe mode after 15 minutes of riding. Also, I had to rebuild the whole drive system, now it is perfect after so many problems and headaches with Jason Wood. The had problems the first week I had it. Problems: Faulty throttle, motor caught on fire, and then the battery.

Nice! Yes I would recommend. This is my first season with it and I’m having a lot of fun with it! Wife and kids like it too. Much better if you live near a lake or river. Mine charges in about 2 hours so we can get 3 uses out of it in a day.

Not sure what everyone is seeing on Instagram, the Kymera Board is the real deal though!
@@dannylopez2660 if you purchased from kymera.com it is legit. The boards are $3900 currently with a spring 2022 discount. If you purchased from an add for under $3300 it is a scam. You may want to file a cc or paypal dispute.
