HGLTech emailed me about their electric body board, the 'Sea Rover' and asked if I wanted to test one here on the channel. My inner 12 year old boy couldn't resist the idea of an electric jet powered body board and so of course I had to try one out!

It's a super thing, imagine that with big waves at the beach and for children it's also a great toy. Must be the kind of people that mostly relate to him, wannabe rockers 30+ can't find a girlfriend/ commit to children middleage wearing biker jakets we'll criticize everybody that's not like us kind of type. It kinda doesn't know what it's trying to be. Is it for travelling over the surface, or for diving? Either way it's far from perfect, and at 3k it's 2.5k too much!

Yeah I think I’m essence it’s a glorified pool toy and you can make it dive if you want, but it’s certainly not engineered for that. $200-300 would be about right in my eyes.

I think $3000 for that electric body board is ridiculous. That kind of money would buy a decent used water toy.
The design of that electric body board hasn't been thought through. It's too short causing your body act like a big dragging anchor. It needs to be longer to get your lower torso and legs out of the water. It would be faster that way and have room for more batteries too. The way it is now would be an OK pool toy for around $99.

Absolutely no details on their website about the battery power, which is the part that costs the most, so you have no idea of it’s quality. In addition it’s actually on sale at $3000 and it’s usually $4000! Vastly overpriced!
