amazing flight from Sao Paulo Guarulhos to Munich, excellent views of Sao Paulo after take-off, great views from 32000 feet on Rio de Janeiro including Copacabana, Christo, Ipanema, Sugar Loaf, nice sunset near Salvador de Bahia and then nice sunrise over the alps upon descent into Munich in the vicinity of Innsbruck.
Overall one of my all time favourite videos.

... flying over iguassu and then over rio de janeiro is sensational... i cry when i travel because i realise that i can never afford to go to the same place twice... traveling for me is goodbye.

It is interesting how the cold air in Germany changes the sound of the engines for better.

Yep, an A340 usually needs a very long take off run, typical for this type. But it's a great aircraft, I love it!!
Nice video. Must be a HUGE contrast to depart from a country bathing in nice hot summer weather only to land a few hours later in a snow covered, bitterly cold country.
Very interesting and gives passengers an idea of the performance of this marvellous aircraft. Flying with Lufthansa must be a good and pleasant experience.

Yes. A week ago, I rode on an airplane for the first time in 7 years. It was from Washington D.C. to Orlando, Florida. It was a short and okay experience, but you must get used to turbelence. When you experience turbulence, DON'T worry. The planes were made to go through over thousands and thousands of miles of turbulence. Other than that, you have nothing to worry about. Flying is the safest form of transportation if that helps. Plus, once you're up there, it's quite a gorgeous view!

Superb! So steady, and the contrast between sunny, exuberant Brazil and snowy, orderly Germany could not be better demonstrated. If only all flights could be like this!
