- I enjoyed a beautiful trip on the Lufthansa A340-600 with a beautiful view and an amazing aircraft. It's such a shame that this aircraft is no longer widely used, but it was amazing to have the opportunity to fly on it!
Extra info:
Date: August 22, 2017
Flight no.: Lufthansa 481
Aircraft: Airbus A340-642
Registration Code: D-AIHB
Departure gate: A37
Seat no.: 6K
Props to the world’s longest single decker airliner! Well technically I shouldn’t say “props” because it’s a jet and not a prop but you know what I’m talking about!👍
Wonderful. And its in service again.
I'm a big Boeing fan since childhood, having flown on 707's to Europe as a kid.
But in my opinion the a340 is Airbus' slickest looking aircraft. Just a thought.
I'm taking this flight Tuesday to Munich. Thanks for the preview!!
Excelent!! I like this type of aircraft.
Awesome!!
The slow climb may have been due to ATC, other aircraft in the area.
Dam that took a long time, I thought they were going to drive to Munich
You have got to remember that the altitude in Denver is 5280 feet above sea level !
No political Correctness What does that have to do with the taxi time? Not trying to sound like an ass lol sorry
I thought you were talking about the takeoff roll!
DIA is one of the most sprawling airports in the U.S. It's enormous. The land area it occupies is staggering, actually. It's so big, they built it way outside the city on the plains. It's about 30-40 minutes outside Denver.
Evan Brace it’s a lot like Amsterdam airport the taxi ways seem to go on for miles and miles ,, enormous airport expansions will never be an issue
Great video . Really surprised how long it took to taxi to their berth . From where it landed . Such a big airport though .
I like the A340. But not with the cfm engines look too small. These engines look great. :)
They do, I loved the sound as well!
It was the quietest commercial jet aircraft during cruise and landing until the introduction of the Engine Alliance powered A380 and GEnX powered B747-8i, both of which have slightly quieter cabins during cruise (about 0.9 dB and 0.8 dB quieter) but are slightly louder at landing. Four engined jets make the best sounds at take off, look the coolest, are the safest, and have the benefit of being quieter than twin engine aircraft! I love the A340, B747 and A380!
Imagine the A340 200 with these Trents... and not the 55,000lb Trents from the 500, the 61,900lb Trents from the 600...
Holy damn I think I was on this flight
This Sound ja werry werry nice
I thought they were driving to Munich LOL. I once flew into Denver from Frankfurt on a 747 but I don't remember to be driving 1/3 of the way. Too bad it was so hazy, which covered the beautiful Rocky Mauntain range. Full flight Denver - Munich? I want to take that trip the next time since it only takes 25:31 min.!
I miss Denver! My Home! My job transferred me to St. Louis. How long is that flight from Denver to Munich? Wheels up to wheels down?
About 9:30
What time they arrive from Denver to Munich
25-minute video, 20 of it staring at the right two engines!?

...Sad to see the Airbus 340-500 and -600 series are NO longer in DLH service....The Original 340-200/300 were nice...But not with those Skinny engines...
Huh?? DLH never had A345s and they still have plenty of A346s.
world longest taxi way to reach the runway
Truly felt like it!
Take off on 34L??
Surprised you guys took that runway, was 34L/16R being used for landings??
10:58
Never did like Denver airport it's runways are too far.
It’s designed so you don’t hav to wait to takeoff
