Austin's Outdoors, I am enjoying the videos. But I am going to make a comment that you may not like. Trust me, I am not a "hater". I am a 3rd generation coyote hunter. Both my grandpa & my dad chased coyotes here in KS with greyhounds. Myself, I began riding along with my dad in 1972. And we chased coyotes together until 1995....Since 1995, I have called coyotes instead of chasing them, as it's cheaper.....I said all that, to say this: I am assuming that the driver might be your dad[?]...If had ever bossed my dad (about when to turn out; or where to drive; ect) like I am hearing you doing, even at your age, he would've tanned my hide & would've left me at home a few times.....I totally understand getting excited. And I understand that there are times that you kids may see the coyote first, & need to tell him where it is. And, yes, I understand you are trying to make the video interesting. But giving the driver information is one thing. Explaining to your viewers is one thing. But, telling the driver to "Turn 'em out! Turn 'em out!", or where to drive, is IMHO (as an older gent), not cool.....Obviously you can take my opinion as you see fit. I simply feel that, especially if the driver is your dad, you need to show him just a bit more respect. But if he is OK with how things are, then please ignore this old man's comments. Keep up the coyote hunting!
@@willhorting5317 Are you sure was that your experience, what about 45mph some people say they clocked them going those speeds. I was wondering if you had any experience with a red fox too running?
Counter Strike, yes. I have no reason to give false info. The 40mph answer I gave you, is from a "study" and can be found by doing a simple online search. Is it possible that some coyotes may be able to run a few mph faster? Yes. It's also a fact that some cannot run even 35mph (haha). As for first hand experiences, it has been a rarity for me to actually look at the speedometer while after a coyote. But when I have, it's been right around 40mph (and I/we were running parallel [sp] to the coyote, on a road). Chasing one across a pasture, generally is not the best time to look at gauges. And you are also driving faster, trying to catch up to the coyote and overtake it. Hahaha
Your homes are way too close to Coyotes. Don't forget they are an important part of ecosystem balance. You are on their territory. Without Coyotes you can expect many more pest animals (which the coyotes kindly keep at bay).
