Monstaline a Jeep (start to finish) Rolled on

Today Kyle, Tyler, Jake and I painted the jeep orange with Monstaliner.
The color we used was called Roadrash

More beers would have definitely helped.
Monstaliner recommends doing all prep work the day before so you have the entire next day to paint so you aren't applying the finish coat in the dark, and also so you can have time for the first coat to partially cure before the second coat, but not cure overnight which would require the first coat to be scuff sanded so the second coat will adhere.
I'm old and have no mojo, so I've been slowly prepping my Hijet mini truck for Monstaliner for the past week. I'm almost ready. Rust spots sanded out, residual light crevice rust has been converted to iron phosphate with Ospho, all converted rust and bare metal have been primed with gray two part epoxy primer (SprayMax 3680033), and all painted surfaces have been scuffed dull with ScothBrite. It's late afternoon, so I'll spend the rest of the day getting the remaining materials together such as a bucket, plastic drop cloth, paper to mask the windows, etc. Much as I hate to delay any more, I'll wait until next week when I have two days of dry weather to mask in the evening, set an alarm, and paint the Monstaliner starting at 9 AM the next morning.
I bought three gallons of Monstaliner for the mini truck because I plan to paint it inside and out, as well as painting large ammo cans as toolboxes, inside and out. I gave up on trying to paint everything in a day. I'll do the outside one day and the inside and toolboxes the next week. And no beers while painting. 🙂
