Johnathon writes “I would like to tell you my experiences. I grew up in a small town or village (depends on how you define Either or ) Slana, Alaska. Growing up me and my family didn’t have power or running water.
My first experience was when I was 7 so to get water for the house we would have to load buckets in to the old station wagon drive down to the river. My job was to sit in the back and hold the jugs so they don’t tip over not like hold them on my lap but just hold them still. I remember pulling out of the pullout at the river and looking out the back window and seeing a (as I put it to my parents) big hairy dude stand up out of the ditch on the other side of the ditch. He had vary thick brown and dirty wight hair on his chest and on what we would consider his beard.
Of course my parents didn’t believe me said I was just imagining things.
The scary experience is what I’m really hear to tell you about to say nothing ever tried to interact with us would be a misrepresentation of the reality of living out there. From small things like sitting in the outhouse and having acorns thrown at you to coming home to find something has ripped your door off the hinges taken all your food and trashed your cabin (normally blamed on bears) witch is rare but does happen.
One day my friend mat came to visit me and my family from the city so me and my sister decided to take him camping up in the mountains. Me and my sister packed up with a shotgun an SKS with her dog Lucius food and couple tents set off. to get to the trail it was a 2 hour drive plus a 3 hour walk to get to where we wanted to camp. When we got to the clearing we noticed moose bones but we thought it was just a hunter’s camp but now looking back Hunter’s wouldn’t have left the antlers. We set up the camp and it was an uneventful day the dog was happy running around it wasn’t tell we all laid down for the night it was me and mat in one tent my sister and her dog in the other tent. It was about midnight when I woke up to branches breaking outside of my tent I called over to my sister did you hear that she called back that I was just hearing things then it sounded like something ripped a tree down. We jumped out of the tent we could hear things circling the clearing we were in running around. We could tell that they were on two lags it’s a varey distinct sound but at the time we were thinking wolves trying to get the dog so we built up the fire and shot off a couple rounds from the SKS cuz we had bear slugs in the shotgun.
It dies down for about 15 minutes then it starts up again just running around the camp then we realized that they were not making any noise no barking or growling bears and wolves make lots of noise when they are hunting.so we fired off a bunch more rounds but they didn’t leave this time mat came running over saying something was touching the tent he was in we ran over and we found the dog in the tent he had peed on himself and refused to come out he is a big boy to pit bull American bulldog cross about 90 pounds was still young at the time. He has been around bears wolves and links nothing has scared him but now he won’t move. So we decided it was time to leave we packed up the camp we went to the tree we put are food in then we could see shadows in the fire we never heard them walk up on us it was like the running was just a destruction. I had to carry the dog so my sister had the shotgun mat had the pots and pans and the SKS my sister was up front with the flashlight and mat was in the back with a flashlight so me and the dog were in the middle so nothing could try and grab him.we could hear them following us all the way down the mountain but half way down we had to take a break when mat put the pack down it made a loud clang then we heard something Sprint off it was standing only about three feet away from mat and we had no clue it was there. The dog never stopped crying but they seemed more interested in mat we made it back to the car and drove away very fast.
We never got a good look at what they were and we shot at the noise but I don’t think we hit any thing. I think we accidentally walked in to where they were staying for the night. There is more experiences but this email is already long winded so thank you for your time.”
Fox is my second guest. He comes to us from Florida and will be sharing an encounter he had camping with friends, and some strange things that happened to him while hunting.

WOW! I absolutely love the second fellow who is a Christian. Proud of Wes for his kindness in just listening and letting him speak. God bless you both.
Hello I'm First Nation Cree from Canada we were told if we see our ancestors was a sign of long life n prosperity
... and if you see a Bigfoot it means you've been drinking antifreeze again.
Well as usual when it comes to orally handed down gobbledygook - you've been misinformed. They are not your ancestors and they will rip your head off and shit down your neck. FACT.
Thank you.Have always been interested In the paranormal, Sasquatch and u f o's, I have experienced hundreds of paranormals, Forty sightings of u f o's and I think I was chased by A sasquatch.
Late at night out on a country road.
And and thank god whatever it was did not catch up with me. My adrenaline kicked in and I think that's what's saved me. I am 86 now.
And it all started when I was fifteen. Thanks for reading this.Whoever and god bless you
Jim it could of been a dogmas
I know thats crazy but I'm serious. Thank God it didn't catch up to you.
I agree with the 2nd guest, Wes has a very respectful way about him...I really appreciate that about him and how he doesn't interrupt, asks pertinent, not idiotic, questions. Never thought I'd ever listen to anything sasquatch when after watching a show about them when I was a little girl, my brother jumped out at me from behind a chair in the dark with my moms fur coat on, scaring the ever loving crap out of me and destroying my nerves for life, but here I am!!🤷😁
You gotta love a good sibling scare! Despite the fact that it stayed with you for your whole adult life!!!
Well here's to help you made him make amends for that! LOL
correction: "hope"… I hate my phone!
When Fox mentioned "Piney Ridge Rooters" that was the first time I've heard that phrase since childhood. I was raised for the most part of my life within walking distance of the Ogeechee River, in fact it flows under I-16 now just west of the Old River Road exit. My cousins and Uncles used to hunt those pigs with white pitbulls and a white mule. They used the tail hairs of the mule to stitch the dogs up when they would get the business end of the tusks...I could hardly wait to hear the stories and see the hogs they brought home. Those are some of the most vicious animals to hunt that I know of. Thanks Fox for the memories !!!
Piney wood rooter.
I still get excited when I hear my State having our Ancestors of Old 🥰❤️
Woooop Woop!! Go Florida!!
They ain't your ancestors.
WOW! Happened upon your show and this episode...What incredible encounters and what an AMAZING guest Fox was!...Clearly speaks the truth and what an honorable man..HE is truly an inspiration...recovering myself from reconstructive spine surgery also as a result of career ending MVA where an individual slammed into me... he truly speaks the truth because he talks about "avoiding pain" activities (I call it distraction therapy..ha ha) rather than take narcotics....Many blessings to you both… And Fox, I wish you, and pray, for continued healing and comfort from THE ULTIMATE PHYSICIAN

In my opinion, This is one of your best shows! Fox is my inspiration for everything I have been going through. Thanks for what you do Wes and thank you for having Fox on your show! He deserves all the success in the world and as a Floridian myself, I will get in touch with him and see how me and my family can help. Thanks again Fox and Wes! Fox, keep staying strong brother! It’s amazing to see!
Why would you and your family need to help Fox he is his own small business and lives in Florida one of the highest costing states in America so I think he's probably doing okay and it just got free advertisement on a RUclips channel. How did this go from learning about Bigfoot to a heart string pulling I'm going to go help a guy in Florida is living his days out towards retirement? I mean I get it I get it and inspirational story the world so bad. I'm sorry people I see right through the bulshit

@@zombielover317able Not that you dare but I have to agree w/ andrea. Why be such a wanker? Fox is a great guy, nobody is impressed that you "see through the bs".
That was a very wonderful story I loved it and I pray for Fox for his healing
Yeah but it was so pointless to tell a whole damn story about an accident and brain aneurysm that has literally NOTHING to do with bigfoot. It's a bit aggravating when people do that.
@@mattjack3983 his story is super inspiring and i appreciate him telling it.. he said he listened to alot of this content when he was bed ridden and thats what got him looking into bigfoot to begin with!! it was a couple minutes long.. there are dozens of hours of just bigfoot content for you to watch
Les, thanks for putting these videos on your channel.. it gets the subject of Sasquatch out to more people... These creatures/ human tribes living in the forests are going to show themselves more and more as time passes, and i feel it's important the public knows of there existence to better deal with encountering them.
🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, it lets people know that with all his expertise in the woods, he can't find one either, but is willing to say anything for a buck.

Been listening for about a week and binge listening. You are also my lullaby at the end of the night. This is so far my most favorite of your stories. Fox is amazing. I loved hearing his story and hope he goes on to be blessed for the rest of his life. I live in Florida now. Been here 8 years. I'll never forget this guy. If I ever needed a pest guy I'll remember Fox.
Another great episode is Chewabaca Man. It's an earlier one. I highly recommend it 😊
That guys story of getting back to life, after being in a accident. I feel for him and I can relate. I was in a similar accident, except the couple was going 60 mph, when all traffic was stopped and they nailed me. I can only imagine what the man has gone through and trying to get back to life. God Bless him please. 🙏👊👍
Yes god bless him.
blessings to you, friend and continued healing from the ULTIMATE PHYSICIAN💞
He's an Animal Killer... I dnt feel for him one bit. What makes people think they have the right to just kill a living being for sport. It's mother and family would be worried 😟 etc. It's not right! Humans dnt need to kill for proteins!!!!🤬
@@bobbyrice2205 oh please!
harvesting, or in your words killing, animals for food is not irresponsible… Pretending like you can get every bit of protein you ever needed from plants alone (unless you want to spend every waking hour, and way more money than any average citizen can spend,) buying OR Growing and harvesting your own plant protein… that sir, is irresponsible… I am an absolute animal lover… Support just about every animal foundation on the earth financially and otherwise… But I'm not under the misconception that I can grow organically everything I need without considerable expense and time… If we do not harvest animals for food, the bottom line is they will starve to death and suffer immensely… Perhaps you would prefer that? There's a lot more that goes into it than just eating "plants" For protein and to suggest otherwise, Is ignorance at its best… A balanced diet is what it's about… Our species did not evolve, and our brains grow to the extent that they have, by eating plants ONLY!
I am also, not suggesting that we only eat meat… It is a balanced approach that is healthy… It is harvesting animals in a humane and responsible way, which I agree is not always the case... you won't get an argument from me there… we need to do better...But we can only be responsible for ourselves and the responsibility rests with all of us To take care of our planet, the animals that populate It, and human beings that need to take careful aapproach in sustaining the same.
@@andreagabel5589 Self righteous individuals like Bobby here are too ignorant to realize just how many living creatures die to cultivate the many, many acres and square miles of land it takes to grow his plants to feed his sorry ass.
I had a work accident back in 2016 same as that second guy. I’ve been battling it for seven years now. I almost died numerous times. I’ve fought my way back enough. I’ve done ok. I’ve even hosted my own TV show on history channel. I’ve been pretty 🍀 lucky.

Wes, I believe you are thinking of the abandoned village of Portlock, Alaska. Blessings and thank you for doing these interviews 💜
I saw a documentary type video on Portlock a few months ago
@@mattjack3983 it sure is an eerily beautiful area! What were your thoughts on the documentary you saw?
This first guy is clearly NOT from Alaska at all, the way he can only speak about things in a general manner for example, while Alaska DOES have permafrost it isn't around the entire state like he seems to imply, that's only above and close to the arctic circle. Really disappointed in his guest research...
While I worked in Alaska for a year, I dated a nice native girl who's family lived in Portlock, she also had an encounter.
This is my absolute favorite episode. I love this guy. Hope he does amazing and got some business. I'm in Florida, but further of from him I believe bieng in Stuart. Love this guy. So nice you gave him time for his business. This is the second time I listened to this episode.
Fox had a great few stories & I feel for his cousin.. happy Fox survived his accident & the brain aneurysm & is on the mend & doing well.
It's been a long road & these stories can be therapeutic, this I know personally & since, COVID it's affected us each differently but, finding this channel kinda saved me from a bad patch I was goin' through this past year or, so with all that is changing in our world around us all.. & I thank ya Wes for continuing with the program. I believe what I am hearing recounted from most these encounters.. some may be fibbing or, embellish a bit but, for the most part the sense I get is that what many of these people is seeing is real & they need a place to vent their experiences free of ridicule & being ostracized.
Keep it up buddy, we appreciate it more than you know!
From: north woods Wisconsin-(big foot country.. or, so I been told by local legend & the Indian story tellers)-(?)-(I don't ever wanna find out personally!)
The aneurysm guy God bless his soul but I thought he was gonna start describing the clothes & shoes everybody was wearing on that night they camped. Wow he didn't miss a detail
Less have you seen the Russian guy that went out into the stark wilderness? He encounters something like I’ve never heard before. Idk if he ever seen them but they were right on top of him. He climbed trees to escape them. They were banging on old pots or pans or something speaking gibberish like that those guys heard on that missing 411 episode. I had fear watching it. If he hadn’t fired his weapon like he did I think they’d have took or killed him.
WOW!! Those were Incredible encounters with Sasquatch!! 💃🏻🙏🏽🕊💪🏽❤️
Thanks Fox, love you, stay well. Boneyard story, Wow, glad they made it home safe. Great stories.
YES!!!!!!! My "late", best friend, would for sure approve of this! He took a photo of himself with a hawk on his arm. From the local Nature Center.
My late dear friend was an actor who worked with a large female grizzly bear named Bozo. His son became a falconer, and there are many cool pics out there . Just google Dan Haggerty
I am so so very thankful that that man found the Lord and found Grace and healing in Jesus name!❤️🙏👍
This platform is interesting compared to other narrative perspectives. Hearing the actual person talk who witnessed these beings is more captivating. Thanks for sharing these stories. I have always believed in these beings and have never had an experience myself. I had almost forgot about the Theodore Roosevelt encounter.

I have been within inches of Sasquatch, as a whitewater rafting canoe guide in drop camps in northern Manitoba . My experience was one of total peace, he checked me out I bowed my head expecting to have my head torn off .then I heard a twig snap bout 20 yds away. The night before all my clients were in they’re tents and a pack of beautiful timber wolves showed up! Couple years later bout10 kilometres from the same location I was at, a cabin full of hunters had their cabin attacked with boulders thrown!
I haven't seen a Sasquatch, but I and My Nephew encountered what We can only describe as a Dogman or a Werewolf in the Pocomoke Maryland area.

This was very cool listening to some aliveness and honesty appreciation and kindness... plus frightening stories amongst it all.
What was the honest part of the story sir? Was it the part where they continually telling you that they're not lying and they're telling me the truth and that their family's telling you the truth even though their families known for lying that's the truth apart of the story isn't it? Of course it is. When someone has to tell you they're not lying immediately that should send alerts off to a normal person's brain that they're lying to you? But oh no not the snowflakes in this comments section they believe 100% of every single thing that they here that's the problem with society of today
Just wanted to say thanks for another great story
Wow the encounter from Alaska was awesome. I really like Foxes encounter from Florida. It was easily one of the best I've ever heard. Great job explaining it and makes me feel like I was in their shoes. You're cousin encountered something I think only happens when they encounter a sasquatch or bigfoot and it's not a fear it's a deep deep deep primal fear that I don't think can even be defined or description.

Man, Les you really need a Discord! :) Unrelated to this podcast, I know, but still! Haha. Speaking of this podcast, though, every night when I go make my tea (and work on dishes), I will put on one of these in the background to listen to. I have quite the long backlog. I'm not a "true believer" in all of it especially the more supernatural/paranormal side of Bigfoot, but I do believe he must exist in some form, and I believe that people believe in their experiences. Pretty fascinating, either way.
Very basic human you are. There are many other things than sasquatch...if you do not know this you do not actually look into things...if you think otherwise, you are an indoctrinated idiot. These things have been spoken of for thousands of years, and many more things than these things...

What does, "The woo side of it mean"? Also based on the little I've heard (I've never had an experience myself) they are very predations with dogs. AND I've heard a couple of stories where a dog will just shut down in terror. What if there is an animal version of mind speak? They communicate with each other in a language that is incomprehensible to humans, but humans comprehend mind speak. So maybe it's the same with dogs? And maybe other animals. They KNOW what befalls them if they come in contact with this predator because they Intuit it's intentions directly from them. I only know what I've heard. But it seems possible.
the woo side would be referring to the mind speak and other supernatural aspects.
I think you’re thinking of Port Chatham, Wes. The village that was abandoned.
You were trying to think of the name of the abandoned Alaskan village and i was wondering if it was Port Chatham or something similiar?
The town of Portlock, Alaska. Another fake Bigfoot story.
I'm 67 now and I've seen two of them one I was a horse I was coming back from grants pass and one it was really really late it was sitting on a rock one of them it was sitting on a rock it got up and started walking toward me it was limping really bad it was like it was asking for help I have a load of horses on ain't no way I was going to stop and get out but it was really weird the way it kind of like asked me to help it but without saying anything the other one was up in a mountain here in California when I was going fishing I definitely believe
To every snowflake in this comments section that has to try to pull at the heartstrings of America by putting a novel comment on here speaking in words that you normally wouldn't use to explain something dramatic or something extraordinary just like these words and music now, will people I'm here to tell you the last guy telling the story will that was just a big crap fest he's stutter stepped in his entire words in the beginning the only time that man made some coherent since was in when he was explaining about his business and I believe that business is one hundred percent real that he has down in Florida now the story about his cousin and him telling us fifty times that he's not lying then he's telling the truth even though he's known for lying he's telling the truth this time and then he has to tell you probably 5 or 10 more times that he's telling you the truth and he's not fibbing and when people start doing that trying to assure you that their conversation or their words are true that usually means that there'll I that's the reason why people don't believe things, they're either good actors or bad actors in this was a bad actor
I 100% was going to say the second guy talking talks soooo damn slow and he’s about to talk about Jesus wtf…and felt so bad about my action when i heard his heart felt story, you are a trooper my friend and you are a kind man. I apologize even though i could say nothing i feel like such a dick that i had to say something. You’re the man, keep on keeping brother
Sign of a good man that recognizes when he makes a mistake… Apologizes… You may not be a man of faith, by your own admission... but you are a good and decent man… We need more of those! Thanks for your comment!
Youre thinking of Roanoke. It wasnt native Americans it was english settlers
Here I am. I'll go to Alaska with you.
I am surprised Les has not seen one, I bet he has searched memory banks and now realizes they was around him many times and he didn't realize it,
I know I have,
Glad I found your podcast. Appreciate your interview style.
Wess, this may be a stupid question but I was just wondering if there was an episode where your brother is on Sasquatch Chronicles because im just finding out about your encounter and I would like to hear your brother and yourself tell about what happened. Thanks for everything you do
I think it's episode 2
Yes 2
Listen to episode 2
Wait… I'm confused? Is he related to Les Stroud? Because episode two seems to be about Les Stroud and his brother (Woody) and in listening to many of SC podcast, including the 500th episode where Les Stroud is featured… In his intro, Wes speaks as if he is not a family member… Can anyone clarify that for me? And also, the brother that Led refers to is "Woody" and I believe on episode two… I may be just confused but would appreciate any clarification… This guy(Wes) is one hell of an interviewer and I am professionally trained as one, and he truly knocks it out of the ballpark… Every time!
@Andrea Gabel Woody is Wes's Brother.
