Here James is a grown man, he still sounds deeply shaken, by his experience. Thanks to James for being brave enough to tell his story, I for one, enjoy hearing people's experiences about Bigfoot! I've never seen one ever and this is satisfying.

I HATE, when people discuss getting a body, to give to science. Like you honestly don't think, that the military hasn't already caught a few of these "Beings" and had their scientists do their damage???? And you wonder why they stay hidden, from horrible humans. Just because WE....know nothing about these beings, doesn't mean some CERTAIN people don't. You have to be of some "big importance ", or have seriously deep pockets. And another thing, if you are NOT, a nature person, if you do not camp, hike, hunt, fish and so on, why concern yourself with these beings period. They AREN'T bothering you, don't bother them!!! I do all the above mentioned, so I listen to keep myself informed on what to look out for. As far as "monsters".....mankind are also monsters, just saying....stop trying to kill what you don't understand. And as far as protection, they seem to do an excellent job at protecting themselves.

Meh, like others have noted, bigfoots have very different personalities and behavior. Some want nothing to do with us and will avoid anything "human" at all costs. Some are curious and will watch from afar. Some are nosy and will follow you and mess with your things. Some are territorial and want you to leave. And some, unfortunately, are violent and want to eat you. Luckily, most encounters are from curious, nosy, or territorial ones.

Wow, as I'm listening to all your podcasts, things I've experienced are making sense. Especially the stone throwing. In 2009, in Las vegas, Red Rock Canyon, my son and I were hiking early in the morning. It was cold, and snow had fallen the night before. As we were finishing our hike, we were on a path with steep canyon walls around us. The walls were covered with desert plants and boulders, so we couldn't see clear up to the top. All of a sudden, rocks were being tossed at us as we were walking. At first, I thought it was a rock slide. But I realized the rocks were being thrown out from about the middle of the incline. When we stopped, it stopped. When we started walking, it happened again. The rocks were coming down one at a time and almost exactly where we were on the path. I yelled up at whatever it was to stop, and it got worse. We started to run at this point because I felt whatever this was hoping to hurt us. As we ran, it kept up with us still throwing rocks. There's no way it was a human because the terrain couldn't have been navigated that fast to keep up with us. I thought Mountain Lion, but Mountain Lions, don't throw rocks.I've been truly perplexed over this over the years. Listening to these stories, It very well could've been a Bigfoot.

Second story, the woman sounded like she was scientifically in the dark in regards to a specimen as there are accounts of the military/government providing medical assistance to Sabe when Mount Saint Helen's erupted. It is possible the there are Ageny's who know what is what and perhaps the path of public humiliation was at some point chosen for anyone who speaks up about sightings. I think that the "powers that be", whoever those powers are, most definitely know about these creatures. There's literally no way for them not to know. And they work to keep their existence a secret. It's impossible to know why they want to keep it a secret to the public, but it's probably for a whole bunch of reasons. Part of keeping it a secret is almost certainly discrediting anyone who is a legitimate threat to the secret. I'm not really someone who easily believes in conspiracies either, and I cringe hard inside when people start bringing conspiracies up. But there's simply no way that the existence of these creatures is not known by some agency of the government, and they would have plenty of reasons for keeping it covered up.

Upside down trees or standing logs is a very old long term survival strategy. By placing rot logs upright you encourage more bugs to eat them which you can eat or use as bait. Eating grubs doesn't sound great but it is good for you and an intelligent creature can use them as bait to catch more substantial prey items like fish, birds and small mammals.

It is a shame to see what seems like good people to be so lost on this subject. It is true I too was at the stage where what I thought was fact turned out to be not true, but I listened to people I thought were being intellectually honest about discoveries made were not. I do see why and what they had to lose, but I learned my lesson. First, Sasquatch is not an animal, and this lady should be well aware of this if she is indeed actually speaking with Native American elders. Yes, the different tribes do differ on tidbit things, but they ALL say that Sasquatch is a people to the point many refer to Sasquatch as a brother to mankind and others say a great elder as if they as a people have been around longer than them. The only time I have heard of any Native American tribe that does not call Sasquatch a people was one time and they called Sasquatch a spirit being of the forest that overlooked mother nature basically. Haha, she said they told her that they would steal children as a means of food resource hahaha. They are not cannibals and no more want to eat you then you look at Sasquatch as an appetizer. Furthermore, since their mind is warped and believe Sasquatch is some type of Gigantopithecus then science would benefit from a cadaver proving its existence and then would learn about their biology etc. If you truly know they exist why in the hell do you need to prove it to anyone else? If people do not have the mental capacity to do their own homework and figure it out for themselves then it is not for them to know. Yes, it is each of our duty to tell the next person and let them know, but it is not your job to convince them of the truth. Usually, the ones that laugh and make a stupid joke out of the subject when I try to let them know are the same one that if they did believe it, they would be out in the woods at night drinking beer and trying to spotlight Bigfoot to have mounted on his double wide trailer wall. She claims she is doing this to eventually be able to protect the future of their species. BULLSHIT she admitted that she got nervous witnessing them due to how fast, big, and strong they were. If they wanted to, they could have grabbed her and took off with her and nobody would have been able to do anything about it which she is 100% correct. So, knowing that why does she feel like they need protection? He even asked her why do you think it is nobody has been able to shoot and kill one? She said whatever she said, but the point is if nobody has been able to at this point so far what in the hell would compel you to try and protect them? From WHAT from WHO? Man does not pose any threat to them whatsoever. Do you see the contradiction in what she is saying? It really is laughable. When people act all tough and say they are going to go hunt one I wish them luck because they are going to need way more than luck to be able and even lay eyes on one. That is not to say Sasquatch is invincible or bulletproof. They can be killed, and they have been shot and killed, but the circumstances were not a hunting situation. The naivest thing both of them are saying is that if one were to be killed that they could just take the body to a science lab and then let science take its course. An autopsy will be performed, and science literature will be written, and the history books will be altered. Finally, they will recognize her for her contribution giving her a grant on a new cryptid expedition search. LOL, in their dreams, and what would actually happen is the government would come in shut it all down within an hour or two tops confiscate any and all evidence while detaining all parties involved. Little threats will be made like she was hunting on federal grounds and shot a species on the endangered list that is what the headlines will read. Unless she plays ball by keeping her mouth shut and none of this happened. The scientist's funds will all be frozen, and their grants will shut off and made to look like mad scientists' credibility ruined nobody will hire them with their licenses to practice revoked or whatever you get the picture. This is why a body has never been brought forth and will never be period. The way you prove their existence has been done it is called the Sasquatch Genome Project. The DNA analysis has been done. It was carried out the most professional way possible. Everyone involved did an amazing job and their credibility cannot be tarnished and if you took the time to look into it you would find that out. Honestly, they even went above and beyond in many cases where it was like overkill, but they felt like that was what they had to do in order to make sure nobody could say "ahh well they didn't do this or that and what should have been done is" because they already knew what they were facing and that once they brought their findings forward all the skeptics and debunkers would be coming from all directions. That is exactly what happened, but the only way they could denounce it was to flat out lie, and of course some are willing to do that, but most just won't say anything they pretend like it doesn't exist. So anyone that is searching for truth and are truthful with themselves can go and look at it and break it down themselves and then the truth cannot be denied. She just said we need their body to research their DNA hahaha. Trust me it is being researched still right now. Some scientists have taken what the Genome Project did and have picked up where it left off. I hear some exciting things have been learned and supposedly at the right time going to bring that forward. I was given a hint about what they are finding, but we will just have to see. Look it up folks the truth is out there, but you have to go and find it otherwise it isn't going to just fall in your lap.

I understand someone going into the woods for whatever reason and encountering one of these creatures and sharing their finds with whoever wants to hear. I enjoy hearing about the experiences, however, what I do not enjoy is people taking it upon themselves to track down these beings just for the fun of it or to prove they have the capabilities to do so. Dont we ever learn? Must we always try to disrupt or destroy every and anything that does not line up with our understanding of it? They live in the forest, and while for the life of me I do not understand why they seem to be moving closer to civilization, unless they enter your domain leave them alone. As humans we are still trying to figure out how to effectively co exist with one another and therefore is not qualified to disrupt the flow of the unknown.

I think the governments should take measures to protect sasquatches, close off territories of their habitat from curious onlookers. Seems these are very rare species that need to be defended. A lot of crazy people are out to hunt them, disturb them and that's not right. The environmentalists should do something about it too, maybe ban hunting them. There is a guy in Texas who shot one and boasts about it, he put the corpse out for display. Now thanks to him, it's gonna inspire other hunters. Awful.

Lol, when I was first starting out fishing for trout, I ventured far off into a closed campground and got to a place where there were a bunch of planted trees in a clean line, and I had this immense feeling I was in a precarious location (and nobody else knew I was there), still don't know if I just got scared, which for sure was part of it, but I heard something big behind those trees moving and snapping branches in some fashion (just loud snapping, not sure if it was walking or from coming down from the tree etc) but I saw this dark mass over there and was convinced it was a bear, so I sort of frantically backed out of there while yelling, "hey bear, woah bear" and got out of there pretty quickly, even though that probably wasn't the best course of action. Anywho, a couple years later I find myself reliving it and questioning that it was a bear, I think it could easily have been a bigfoot as I remember it seeming to be standing bipedal, but it was too much of a blur to confirm that...but I just think if it was a bear it would have reacted more, it instead just stayed there as I panicked out of there...I'm probably just being silly, but for some odd reason I feel that it was a bigfoot and not a bear, but naturally, being new to nature at the time, and afraid of running into a black bear, I just assumed that as soon as I saw a mass and heard noises, and noped out of there lol.
Later on, I still went to far off and away from people places, as that's always my goal, and one of them was a hiking spot high in the mountains that is mostly mountain bikers, and I found so many clear giant human footprints, your typical bigfoot, and by then I knew about them and it made sense, they were coming from the steep mountains and stepping once or twice on the trail to continue down or up. Saw them the entire way along the trail. It's actually super easy to find their tracks lol.

Why not try and communicate with sasquatch instead of killing them? As soon as they are identified and announced to the public - these creatures will be hunted forever. Does she really think that they will be protected? If she is a good anthropologist she would know that humans will not leave them alone.
She just wants to be the big discoverer - it's ego and this is a shame because we all know this will be out of control.
