For those who cant find "Security and Restrictions" How i worked around it was to download the apk through the downloader app's browser, then I accepted installation and it automatically brought me to the "allow app installation from these applications" setting page

I'm also on Android 12 and I can't find the option on settings but yeah this method worked for me. Remember you still need to enable developer settings...so just do what he did first then instead of going to settings and security, try to install the apk and it will take you to the settings automatically

@@MiryokuSan well for now I'm using Nebula manager put the app nebula in your homescreen and once open it your hidden Apks/apps will be available to open, instead of having to go to settings/ apps. (Much faster)

@@kaikaih5771 oh yeah. I have been using it since I got it. You need to enable developer options on your Chromecast. Then using a computer download the apk from a website, and installing in the Chromecast using ADB

Both are great options but if you are already familar with the firestick than go with that.
