    Looks interesting. I’m currently running an Acera rear derailleur, 10 speed cassette, Tiagra front derailleur with down tube friction shifters. Can’t imagine anything better than I’m running right now.

    A 2x9 drivetrain: 38-24 chainring and 11-34 cassette is the best combo

    I just have upgraded my ebike from Alvio to Cues 9 speed (full cues package). Shifting is awesome but i'm not happy with the rear derailleur! (Need clutch for chain retention) Do you know if the Shimano CUES U6000 rear derailleur works with cues 9 speed?

    Shimano CUES is a new range of drivetrain and brake components that replaces the existing Alivio, Acera and Altus groupsets.
    So just another driveline .

    I am not sure about a single front gear. Is it as good as three?

    • @jacobseely2125

      I think 1x is better for everything except road! It’s way simpler. Gives you more than a 400% wider gear range actually.

    • @hunterhogan9326
      @hunterhogan9326 9 месяцев назад +2

      i dunno about that. but it’s way less maintenance for sure. single speeds are the best!!

      @growingup4487 9 месяцев назад +2

      3x is for the road if desire speed, on a pure MTB where your always climbing just get the 1x those high speed gears are useless on a mountain.

    cringe video. Cues not for sport(too heavy, not technologically advanced.)
    SLX & XT-XTR for it. i love my XT.
