You did, great video! I like the game very much for an early access game! I was kinda shocked to see you building your town using a grid for a medieval city builder tho :D
The trading system allows you some nice stuff to be honest. Example, you say you have a steady supply of iron in your settlement. That allows you to build up quite a lot of stuff with it, from weapons to armours and tools. You can simply put two of those items up for export. In the meantime, build two separate storehouses that will only allow for those two specific items to be stocked. Oversupply the "global" market until you get to the value of 1 coin per item. Change the two items to another two (e.g. sidearms and helms) while buying the previous items you flooded the market with at a very low price, and stock them in those warehouses. Once you oversupply the market again with two different items, you can change them again and now you can trade the stock you have previously saved by buying them at a low price at a bigger price. It works wonderfully well if you go for the trading tree and allows you to handle and influence the market to your needs. Its not overly complicated, but you have to drop some work into it and you can profit immensely from it.
@@aliriyad3435 its only due to the game allowing me to push it like that around. Its a bit broken, and if one focuses everything on the trade tree, it can lead to quite the exploit.
@@GeneralRubicon this would take customization to a different level. It would be nice for those who like to do even more micro managing and use automated functions, but i do not belive the dev wants to add something like that. He has a lot on his plate until the full release of the game.
People complaining certain things are too hard or “punishing” always ruins the developers original intention of making a rich and complex gameplay that forces the player out of a comfort zone.
There are things which are hard due to technical game limitations, not the gameplay itself. But i guess all of that will be gone with game getting polished. I wonder what they gonna add since the amount of money they got from sold copies is insane for such small studio. Did they sell 1 million already?
no there definitely are some performance problems. having a top of the line pc and saying theres no performance problems doesnt mean there isnt. developing a game is alot more than just developing for top of the line pc's. singular developer and i think he has done something truly special with this game btw
I have enjoyed this game a lot myself but I'm putting it down until they release the first update. Farming really needs to get a facelift immediately. P.S. no crashes but I do get some weird visuals on roads and water from time to time, but nothing major.
Did I do the game justice here? I love indie titles like this.
I love rts games :) Honestly, I haven't checked this one out, so I'm glad you covered it :D

@@sandiersfinxmc7671 I wanted to make a medieval version of my hometown so I could send a Pic of it to my parents back home 😂
I love it. And I am happy he released it in EA, otherwise I had to wait another 2 yrs or more.
The road system is excellent!

That's incredibly smart! Haven't thought about that.
I kinda do that with tools and iron. I would love it to be an automatic cycle. Like maybe being able to set different exports by the month maybe?

Yep that's what they announced
I have so many early access games!!
Great game. Very beautiful.

That's why I said in the video that everyone's experience with performance would be different than mine

I agree. Also, I've kinda beat the game so far lol. Can't wait to see what the finished product looks like
Finally a worthy replacement for Banished
Dawn of Man is a really good one.
