Being a 78,child 80s was my era , loved it , no health safety , go to the park and slides were 50ft high and you went down like it felt 60mph , great films , great music ,
78 too oh how childhoods have changed
I was born in '79 so I missed it 😂😂
I was born 1978 too, but the 90s was the best 👍🏼
At 45, I've found a new hero. James Buckley.. Legend. Whistles, hums and sings until your Mrs has to pause what she;s watching, whilst all the while sniggering to yourself. This makes up at least an hour of my day!!!
Was (obviously) an Inbetweeners fan, but only stumbled on this last week with the Dyers. All over this from now on. What a show 🙌
They have a vlog you have 3 years of catching up to do its so funny. At home with the buckleys on you tube
really great getting these uploaded now on a weekly basis, being able to see the video too is brilliant.
Yes please to the 90's special episode.
Listening to this had Me reminiscing about Pogs, BeyBlades, PokeMon cards etc. Oh the good old days...
I love how the producers just constantly howl at clairs scottish slang 😂
80’s rocked. Air Wolf, Knight Rider,A~team, the list can go on and on.
I loved them shows that what made me a man today 🤣🤣
Beauty and the Beast!! When my wife was younger she used to cry when the beast turned into the prince, because she liked the beast!
80s and 90s were definitely the best decade's.
I miss the old days !! I remember playing outside playing football and man hunt and all different games
Found you both recently and at home with the Buckley's, hubby don't watch RUclips but he actually liked you😂you're both so funny and as a dog mum we love paisley, hubby's favourite dog breed, after our blue staffy obviously 😊❤
Loved this podcast! 😁 I absolutely love reminiscing about growing up in the 90s, you're right it was such a carefree time. Or, atleast it felt that way. Everything feels so serious and heavy these days. I often think about how hard things must be for kids growing up now! They have it way harder for sure. Loving the podcast guys ❤
This once again was absolutely brilliant to watch !!! So many memories
Legends! As a fellow Mod I must say James’ trousers are fire.
Best podcast out there, great addition to at home with you guys,oh and tots tv is still the best tv show ever! Tiny is a comedy legend 😂
Just recently stumbled across the lovely Buckleys content and I’m loving it, love you guys, can’t believe James never mentioned the hurricanes, fun house, art attack, stars in their eyes, you bet, strike it lucky. forever watching you logs in the daily and these podcasts are gold.
My son was born in 1987 and everything you have covered here reminds me and, him, of his childhood 100%. We downsized a few years ago and sold all his toy/consoles that we had stored in the loft. Such a surprise to us both how much it was worth - quids in for sure!
I can’t stop watching the two of you. You are so goddam funny. This 90s nostalgia vid has been the best episode yet. Keep ‘em coming.😂
Guys best one yet I loved James chatting about the 90s. Zappp was probably one of my favourites citv they don't make them like they used too. Anyway lov the podcast love athwtb think you two are great. Keep doing what your doing
That spaceman song lives rent free in my head. I remembered seeing it on top of the pops and vividly remembered the silver outfit. Looked it up recently on RUclips funnily enough, to see if it was how I remembered. It was! Memories!
Hi guys, love the podcasts,I’m 42 and as a kid in the 80,s/90’s I loved watching you bet with Matthew Kelly, and before that was kick start, the kids on the trials motorbikes 😎good times, miss the good old days, keep up the great content guys, Matt
Brilliant podcast as always guys . We had so many good programme’s on as a child to the rubbish they have on today . 🍺🍺
This was a great episode! Totally agree about the 90s, it was an absolutely epic decade and it's all been going down the toilet since. Also agreed about that story at the end, I was getting furious on behalf of the woman, people who disrespect other people's relationships like that (women or men) are the worst.
Yes please! Do a 90s special...i was reminiscing right along side you today. Made my day
I am an 84 baby, loved this walk down memory lane. The dog one was Woof, it was a boy turning into a dog 😂 I loved it!
I’m with James …………. Bring back the 90’s 😂
Keen as a badger for a 90s bonus episode! I started watching yous off At Home with the Buckleys - however, started watching yous there from Completed It Mate (James, howay - bring that back son). Would bloody LOVE a 90s/00s PS1/2 throwback episode man!
Absolutely loving this podcast so much!!!!❤
As someone born in 1987, I appreciate this episode. My goodness the nostalgia.
Flicking Dollie beads necklace at people anyone haha
YES 90'S PODCAST. I'm a 94 kid, so a little late, but I still related to all the things you talked about!
Can't beat the 60's 70's best ever years cant stand these days now, feel sorry for kids now they will never be able to say how good the years are 😎
When you google a supermarket opening time they only give you their usual opening times. If it’s weekend/ bank holiday hours it will state hours may differ but won’t specify the actual times. Some businesses also wont specify if they are still in business or have permanently closed
It was summer 95’. I got a Mr Blobby balloon from the local shopping centre (shoutout to Greenock) and 10 year old me proudly took it oot to play as soon as I got back home. Some boys asked me for a shot of it and being the kid that wanted to be liked, I proudly handed over my amazing Mr Blobby balloon. The boy booted it into the air and all I could do was watch it float away, those dead eyes staring back down at me 😭 still ragin about it! Kids were terrible back then but we definitely had it easier than kids today. Loving the podcast! X
Your bedsheets nearly cost as much as my wedding dress 😂
My youth was the 80s!! Best times. Still mates with the same Croud and we crack up at our shenanigans when we reminisce!
I'm the same age as you guys and this was the best bit of nostalgia ever. Epic podcast guys
At home with the buckleys and a podcast. Great!
Love having the video, might be worth thinking about what your t shirts might say if some letters are covered by hair though 😂
I was born in 1991 and the kids shows then were amazing.
But also watching things like Bottom, Red Dwarf and films like The Terminator even though I was to young to understand them.
Brilliant podcast as always ❤
90,s in my twenties were the best times, Ebenezer,s a Good ❤❤❤❤
It’s amazing how happy a couple can be when they don’t have to work
James I love you and Claire you’re beautiful😜 you guys are life! Can’t get enough. Too cool for school brochacho🤙 yew!!!!
💯 related to the entire pod, Nice show guys keep it up ❤
Mardyke Estate, I was always told to stay away from that place!
Video shop on Broad Street! I remember that ..... got a fine for not rewinding the tape 😂😂😂 ... yes to dedicated series on nostalgia
I would watch a 90s podcast. My nostalgic era
Beauty and the Beast is my wives favourite Disney film, she literally said the other day - He’s better looking as the Beast!
That’s probably why they’ve both ended up with bearded husbands 😅
The 90s were a good time! Too many shows to list, but a few damn good ones include Scratchy & Co, Gimme-5, Beadle's About, You Bet, Sooty & Co, Zzzap (the show with Cuthbert Lilly, not James Buckley), Finders Keepers, Art Attack, How2, WOOF, Bernard's Watch (the first of several different versions)
Speaking of You-Bet, Matthew Kelly's going to be on the telly in the next few months in something called "Inside No 9".
Growing up in the 90s was such an era where we had the start of brilliant gaming action films seems to be released every month so many iconic tv shows. Plus we all knew a guy who can hack PlayStation one and sold pirate games. We need a special born in the 80s growing up in 90s.
love yall big love from malabar sydney
Please do a 90s special this was my favourite podcast so far!!

Rug Rats with tommy, chucky and angelica…
also please tell me somebody remembers woof, the boy that turned into a dog when he walked behind a tree
I remember that show.
Search for 80's 90's kids tv, commercials, adverts, etc. It will surprise you what you remember 😂😂
I remember woof! I'm 40 and still have all my rugrat dolls! I've even got spike the dog.😂
I like how the first bit wasn’t scripted at all 😂
I remember “wally” playing 20 -a-side footy until your parents shouted you from miles away to come home.. Happy memories.
38 I'm I and can remember the good old days I left high school in 2000

Mate, mr oizo - flat beat is such a banger still 😂🔥
I moved from kilwinning to folkstone in the early 90s.......i went from joe deacon raving in the metro......to buster blood vessel live in la prisienne in folkstone.......and nobody in kent understood ma ayrshire accent
Only you can pull off the chavvy hulk hogan look!..... fit and funny he's a lucky geezer 😂
I don't pay anymore than 20 pounds for duvet and pillow set and 7 pounds for fitted sheet which I think is expensive
I was raving in the 90s so dont remember a lot
I bet you can remember what music, and how many you dropped, though 😂😂😂
Best years of my life back then, and I still made school on Monday! 94 onwards, I was in Circus Circus, Kellys/Lush, Exit 15, Armagh Arena, Killwater House. Born in 81 😂😂 I didn't touch a drop of alcohol until most of those places were closed 😉😉
I was hanger 13 , metro , fubar and fantazia happy days
Its mad that we organised our whole lives without mobile phones.... Just used to leave the house, knock on mates doors & see if anyone was in! 😂 Having to do that would freak my teenage kids out now!
Loving this
28 this year watched all these kids programmes and we didn’t get internet int he house until I was around 13! I don’t remember seeing people with lots of smartphones like iPhones till around 2012.
I was born 92 but I loveddddd come outside, mr blobby and tiny tots telly was so good my sons 8 and is playing fifa on ps5 they just wont live like us!
everyone had a crush on the funhouse twins. once meet pat sharp at old Trafford and told him lol . he wasn't shocked . Great guy pat
16:02 Clair forgot she was on a podcast and was about to unleash 😂
Claire in 1996 I bought those tracky bottoms from JD sports.
£50 I earned £80 every two weeks cleaning fridges when still at school.
I loved them, and then this new band turned up weeks later with a girl doing kerate kicks that basically made me stop wearing them.
Just to let you know, as an Aberdonion, you'll get how hard it is to waste money for us 😅.
P.s. If it was now and I bought them and saw you wearing them, I'd be chuffed, not embarrassed.
Can I borrow Claire for the weekend, I promise to return her - I need cheering up :-)
Why do I feel like when your both get home and the door shuts Clair turns into Ben Kingsley from sexy beast when he flips out plus my m8 had his bike taken by Craig Charles to get to the pub back in the 90s he left it outside an gave us a few quid for lending him it hahaha
Growing up in the 80's playing football, Nike cagoule's, Youth Club and disco's, break-dancing, skateboarding, discovering fingering and then the 90's going out with the lads having it trying to pull birds, listening to brilliant music, Tudor Tunes, video-shop, getting run over, Euro 96', the Sopranos......... and now we're in the mist of a massive 10 year lull of ridiculous disturbing societal nonsense. YNWA!! ✌
I was born in 1991 and I miss the 90s and early 2000 life was better and happier
I'm glad I'm not growing up this generation. Life isn't the same anymore, and uk isn't a nice place either
William's Wish Wellingtons and Dooby Duck's Disco Bus (just crept into the 90's)
God I had forgotten about Man Oh Man ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
#perfectdraft Loving the podcast man.
early 80s child and grew up listening to guns n roses then nirvana in the 90s. best decades
Lion King was the first film I saw in the cinema too 😊
Would love a 90s special!
Love yous guys
My unconventional crush was definitely Wednesday Adams off the adams family. The first crush was definitely amy Jo Johnson, the pink power ranger, lol. Loved this episode. I'm 35 this year but had older and younger siblings, so associated with all of it 😊. Honourable mentions to pokemon and the tribe which was amazing 👏
Also lion king was my first cinema trip too 😊
The expensive bed sheets 😂my husband could be a billionaire he would tell them to keep he holds no shame when it comes to money .. even if he was well known he wouldn’t care the papers saying he’s as tight as a camels arse in a sandstorm he really would be like put them back but him being him he wouldn’t pick them up without the price haha .. I’m glad having money hasn’t changed you I just know money couldn’t change me and definitely not my fella haha xx
Loved this episode! Does anyone remember a programme called Zzzap on CiTV in the 90s I always feel like I’ve made it up 😅
Bring your Parents on 😂😂

My 23 year old recently asked me so what did you do when you went and knocked for your friends and they weren’t in!!!! Couldn’t understand the situation!! My reply! Did nothing- just ended up finding them!!
One night I decided to google “my sofa is on fire!! What do I do?” And the results were sofa shops???
