Plants that were considered rare last year are now available, up close and personal, to the general public at much reduced prices. ‘Today, what’sconsidered to be a rare plant is being sold by private treaty in the five digit range between anonymous buyers and sellers and the general public will only see them in photographs. Waiting to see what happens when Costa Farms floods the market with their tissue culture plants - reminds me of DeBeers, Zaire and the diamond market.

I live by perfect choice. I driven the people crazy there if I’m there early in the morning, they open the greenhouse for me and wait for me while I walk around and look at all the plants. I’ve gotten the painted lady, jungle boogie, Micans, and alocasia frydek there. The next time you go, there is a huge nursery not far from there called Flamingo Road Nursery which is a good one.

If perfect choice nurseries wasn’t so far from me I’d be there a lot ( native miamian here) and casa planta is an amazing nursery I go there often very affordable in my opinion another nursery that I frequent is sunset nursery

So happy you got to visit Perfect Choice! They are hands down the best nursery I've ever been to. I was sitting here like, oh, wait till she sees the aroid room 😍. The alocasia you thought was a cuprea is actually an Azlanii. When the light hits it the right way it's the most amazing iridescent burgundy 😍😍😍. I walked by those many times on my trips there before finally seeing it with the right lighting and HAD to buy one!!

Omg Ashley what an amazing nursery I loved the selection that they had, and most of the prices were really good, even with the rare ones those prices were still good. I know I added many more to my wish list. I can't really pick which plants I would get because there were way too many to choose from. I love all Syngoniums and there certainly were a bunch of them I would have picked up. I just kept saying wow through this whole video, what an amazing place. Actually Perfect Choice is in Southwest Ranches,I’m a landscaper for many years and they do have an amazing shade are with many variegated plants.
My jaw was on the floor the whole time. With every room it got better and better. It’s interesting to see the difference in prices from over there. And which plants are classed as rare. I live in Australia and some of the “rare” plants in your video are quite common here, and not expensive at all. Although it goes both ways. So interesting! So glad I’ve discovered your channel. Thanks for taking us plant shopping with you. ☺️
I was able to visit Perfect Choice Nursery in June and LOVED it. I live in MD and we don't nearly see as many rare tropical plants here as are available in Florida. I left with only 2 small hoyas, but wished I could have fit more in my carry-on for the flight home. Thank you for filming this field trip. It was nice to see this place again through your eyes. It is really special.

Ashley, what a treat! Thank you so much for bringing us along to this plant adventure. There are so many I would have picked but for now (I am going to watch it again) I would have picked the codex plants, the cissus one (red), and the monstera trubii. Also, the prices were very good.

Perfect Choice Nursery is one of the best nurseries I have ever seen. Do they ship? So many rare and beautiful plants. I've not heard or seen so many of them. Thank you for taking us along. Any of the Alocasia I would have love to own. Going to have to start new wish list.
Never been there but I bought a few plants from them on their website. One of my favorite plants shops. Their packaging is the best. Maybe someday I will go to Florida to check them out.

Sadly the ducks are muscovy ducks and considered invasive to Florida and they hiss instead of quack 😭😭 you can catch them and keep them as pets if you want though LOL.
The variegated zz plant and either the philodendron strawberry shake or pink princess would have went home with me asap 😂

for example you can get a Philodendron painted lady everywhere for only $10-$15

90% of those plants are very common in the Florida plant trade now. Many of those are even available at Florida Home depot locations.
I unfortunately don't have any nurseries in my area with house plants...but I was at Lowes yesterday and found a Philodendron Hope! I cried in delight! It was on my wish list! (And half off...paid $7) And she is about 2 ft tall....so in love! Thank you for taking us with you! 💚🌱🪴🌵💚🌱🪴🌵

I live 30min away from them and it’s my favorite place to visit! I make sure to leave my credit card in the car 🤣 it’s dangerous! You have to go in with specific budget if not, things can get out of control real quick!
