Or maybe the fault is not making a Ranked Brawl queue, where us Spikes who like to play competitively would not need to clash with other players who seek a more casual play experience. Still you put an awesome fight, with a character I love in the Lore. Your content is great Amy, keep up the amazing work 💚
I love seeing deck tweaking. It’s great to see why certain things are done. Seeing the way a deck “evolves” helps better solidify the logic of the deck and helps with identifying changes I should make when I build decks.
Seeing the small tweaks you make as you play with a deck more is one of the most interesting parts of the video whenever it gets left in. Not just for you, but from every card game creator I have ever watched. I don't watch just to see the cards being played, I watch to see interesting decks, and the process of those decks being refined is a big part of what is special about watching people who are actually good at these games. In fact, it is so interesting to me that it is the reason I even started watching games like this in the first place. The first fully card game focused creator I watched was Firebat (the first Hearthstone world champion, I know Rarran got you to watch the one he won), and the reason I started watching him was his "Deck Doctor" series, where he would take viewer submitted decks and refine then as much as he could while still keeping the spirit of the deck, and then see how much better it performed. Anything that can replicate that feeling for me is something I am very interested in.
I'm probably in the minority here but brawl is still my favorite format to watch on YT. My favorite format to play is commander, but the games can get srawn out and its sometimes hard to keep track of what all 4 players are doing if i'm not playing. I like the commander vibe of brawl while the quicker games make for great junk food content.
Personally I like the pseudo behind the scenes look into the mid play session deck tweaking. I also thought it was hilarious that the Yorion player scooped to a single Negate despite having turned Tamiyo into a Piranha on turn 1. I guess that player only likes interaction when they're the one doing it. Edit: Amusingly enough, the Nicol Bolas player immediately after demonstrated a level of resilience and grit that in my opinion is quite admirable in Arena play. You had an answer to nearly everything they did and yet they continued to push through until the bitter end.
When it comes to deck edits in the middle of the video, honestly I love it. I'm mostly a net-decker, so seeing the logic of swapping out cards helps me out a bunch with that, learning the logic of removals and replacements.
I enjoy this kind of video. It's a very chill vibe of lets just play magic the way I want. I also appreciate the post-game thoughts of what you saw in a match and the mild deck edits that follow.
He also made his big play of removing the aura from his Tamiyo so he could finally transform it, but got caught up in the moment and forgot to leave the mana to do so resulting in a worse position than before
I like this kind of layout back content with Mesa Falcon guy explaining the thought processes that go into card swaps as well. It makes more to feel like we are in this together and it's valuable too
I do find it interesting to see you do live tweaks. I also like that you were open to learning from your opponent's deck. Shows you can be salty AND humble :)
yes, backsides of transform cards have their front side’s mana value (source: I played a tourney TODAY where backside of fable got flung with broadside bombardiers)
With Brawl being the only Arena format I play, I'm always looking forward to your Brawl uploads. If occasional dirty unedited videos like this is how I get more of them, or how they come out faster, I'm more than happy.
8:17 Yes! The library! Her beautiful home filled with knowledge! That’s the kinda girl I want; she is so smart! I will fanboy over Tamiyo all day and night long! 🤣🤣🤪
So, i want to thank you CGB: i couldn't sleep tonight (i'm italian, for me is 8 AM right now), bad news filling my head, and this video basically lightened up my morning. Fun fact: tonight i hit platinum on mtga for the first time using the grixis rotation proof deck that has been showcased on this channel, thanks for that deck also! Love the content, keep up the great work, i enjoyed this uncut salty mtg player video!
22:26 I'd assume that I enjoy deckbuilding significantly more than most, but commentary on a decks pitfalls and the refinements made while playing is *super* interesting to me.
No Tamiyo Meets the Story Circle + Archway of Innovation? It's BY FAR one of the most busted and competitive combos from MH3, and Tamiyo creates clues while attacking so it's even consistent here.
Rocco has been my favorite brawl commander since it came out. I would never root against CGB, but I loved to see the deck make it against counter spell typal
In the Mirror Match you should have just taken Tamiyo with the Archmages Charm and Ultimate her yourself. That would have been game for you. Tamiyo is a nonland permanent with manacost 1 or less.
Producer guy: drawing perfect lands 3 turns in a row from a 100 card is going to be pretty hard, right? Screenwriter guy: Actually it’s super easy. Barely an inconvenience.
Can't believe I got bullied by CGB. It isn't his fault. It's WotC's fault for making a one mana Planeswalker good.
You didn't deserve this, CGB is a monster. 😭 Love your content Amy, keep it up! 💟

It's the new Malcolm :D
Amy we need video of your side ripping CGB!!! 😂
52:34 Should have attacked with your 1/1s before he could +2 again.
42:42 "How do I say sorry"
There's an emote for “I do apologize" in the OTJ mastery unlocks. As a Canadian, I finally feel seen by Arena.
I use it all the time. And I usually mean it, after doing something just truly awful to someone.
I also use that emote if I have a removal heavy hand or if my opponent got mana screwed.
I love seeing deck tweaking. It’s great to see why certain things are done. Seeing the way a deck “evolves” helps better solidify the logic of the deck and helps with identifying changes I should make when I build decks.
100%
this is exactly what i was thinking

man, I miss firebat and his deck doctor series
what a throwback
We need this series in mtg
Fun play when they nullified your tamiyo but flipped theirs is to just take control of it with archmages charm
Sometimes you're so focused on the "main" mode of a charm you forget the others.
Yeah, happens to the best of us sometimes
Damn didn't think about that. You don't usually associate 1 mana value with planewalkers
Honestly I was waiting for CGB to realize that he could take theirs and ult it for them. 🤣
I like deck tweaks in the video, especially since we get insight on why you cut certain cards to add certain cards
I'm probably in the minority here but brawl is still my favorite format to watch on YT. "I'm going to counter everything you play, but if you counter my stuff I might cry." - Brawl in a nutshell.
"Shart a Course"
21:17
The wincon is M I S E R Y

21:18 "Shart the course" Your day is ruined
When it comes to deck edits in the middle of the video, honestly I love it. I'm mostly a net-decker, so seeing the logic of swapping out cards helps me out a bunch with that, learning the logic of removals and replacements.
Toxic permission gameplay against Amy is a recipe for heat
Seeing you make the tweaks with your insight and card knowledge is very enjoyable to watch and learn from
“Everything is about the library with this one” 😂😂😂
I like the low-edit videos, because I really appreciate you explaining your rationale behind adding/removing a given card from a deck.
I enjoy this kind of video. It's a very chill vibe of lets just play magic the way I want. I also appreciate the post-game thoughts of what you saw in a match and the mild deck edits that follow.
Watching deck tweaking is always interesting to me! I can see where its not great to put in a video but i appreciate seeing any sort of process
Am I crazy? or at 14:00 would a the archmage charm taken control of the opponents Tamiyo and prevented everything after
yes
He also made his big play of removing the aura from his Tamiyo so he could finally transform it, but got caught up in the moment and forgot to leave the mana to do so resulting in a worse position than before
I always remember Amy's reaction from your intro video. Such villainy.
I feel so bad for amy. what a trooper though.
I loved the unexpected, unedited, natural, and honest video
14:18 can you gain control of their tamiyo here?
yes, backsides of transform cards have their front side’s mana value (source: I played a tourney TODAY where backside of fable got flung with broadside bombardiers)
Yeah, so many slept on Tamiyo to start with. I took one look at it and went "Ah, crap."
I've never been big on mono-blue control but seeing all the back-and-forth counterspells was pretty entertaining!
7:15 CGB turns into Chuckie for a moment. I’m the GOOD GUY!!
24:12 Thoughts on stifling the field of ruin? Seems like the optimal play to me, but interested in others insights.
I very much enjoy listening to your reasoning for cuts and replacements.
It's always nice to see you fix what you feel is wrong with the deck to tweek it in a better way. Part of the gameplay for me not just the actual game
With Brawl being the only Arena format I play, I'm always looking forward to your Brawl uploads. If occasional dirty unedited videos like this is how I get more of them, or how they come out faster, I'm more than happy.
Deck tweaking is cool. Its one of my favorite parts of TCGs. The mirror match was very cool, and I like the editing of the deck afterward.
8:17 Yes! The library! Her beautiful home filled with knowledge! That’s the kinda girl I want; she is so smart! I will fanboy over Tamiyo all day and night long! 🤣🤣🤪
I do find your process interesting. Makes the reasons for changes much clearer.
I greatly enjoyed the video, especially the pit stop to change some cards in the deck. Thanks for the special treat
Love the random midnight historic brawl upload made my night!
Amy was dope for sticking that one out. I appreciate her and her content.
My mind was blown 🤯 when you tapped mana before the Vorinclex 🤣🤣🤣. There’s quite a few times that’s what I should have done.
Love the low-effort brawl! I appreciate you giving it to us as it is.
Seeing you make tweaks and modifications was so interesting! I'd love more videos in this format in the future, if that's something you want to do.
I love this sort of less edited video, please keep doing them once in a while.
Definitely find the deck tweaking interesting - i am always interested in how decks are constructed and streamlined
22:26 I'd assume that I enjoy deckbuilding significantly more than most, but commentary on a decks pitfalls and the refinements made while playing is *super* interesting to me.
I was about to go to bed. Very excited to have this come out.
This is the most CGB video there may ever be. Let the pain commence
Heard CGB say "... easy, barely an inconvenience". Man of culture indeed.
Seeing the deck edits is interesting! Enjoy the reasoning - esp. balancing with your mana base
I like the in between tweaking of decks, I would love more of these ‘brawl bites’
Love this format of video!
My favorite CGB videos are the ones where he plays what he wants and likes it!
I love this type of vod videos
I love the unedited tweeks!
I do in fact like seeing you take a wrench to your deck between games.
Really liked seeing editing the deck mid video
14:15 archmanges's charm can steal the opposing tamiyo because it is a one mana permanent. it was your only way out
I do find the deck tweaking interesting fwiw. I like hearing the thought process for the card choices
Hi Covert, one question. Why u dont incliude Harbinger of the seas ?
Omg! A battle against Amy!? What a colab!!! ❤
Countering the opponents counter everything decks are the best feeling hands down.
i think its pretty interesting to see you tweak decks mid video to adjust to matchups
CGB you couldn't control your blue urges maybe theres support group for blue counter-mages 😂
win con is piss your opponent off so much they give up. so it does indeed have a win con
You should use icons like maybe falcon icons and tear drops instead of W-L recrod
Love seeing the rawer content.
I liked the casual style of the vid, and the deck tweaking
Enjoyed the quick edit
No Tamiyo Meets the Story Circle + Archway of Innovation? It's BY FAR one of the most busted and competitive combos from MH3, and Tamiyo creates clues while attacking so it's even consistent here.
Midnight brawl video!? Must be my birthday!
You really want some green cards in there such as Wilderness Reclamation and Uro becuse there's a handful of Green cards that are perfect for Control.
14:00 I think cgb forgot you could steal planeswalker tamiyo with archmage's charm
14:18
Coulda used the Archmage's charm to steal the opponent's planeswalker tameo 😢
Recommend: RW/RWB high noon flash tempo/control
Fun and surprisingly good.
I’m not convinced… gets convinced.
Holy shit that Rocco deck was some of the luckiest heart of the cards bullshit I've ever seen
omg you could have stolen tamiyo at 14:25 ahhhh
Amazonian! I hope she's put up her POV of this
I love second breakfast ❤ Thank you for second video ❤
Producer guy: drawing perfect lands 3 turns in a row from a 100 card is going to be pretty hard, right?
Screenwriter guy: Actually it’s super easy. Barely an inconvenience.
Love ❤ the low editing videos!
Ooh, bonus video. Very noice.
22:26 I love deck tweaking
You should do it all the time
Could Archmage's charm have stolen the enemy tamiyo there?
This kind of stuff is why I always insta-scoop to Baral, Chief of Compliance. Ain't nobody got time for dat.
when legends collide
I find brawl building decks interesting. Would love to see a straight up process of building and tweaking.
I would realy apreciate a Yorion meta version with MH3 now CGB !
I swear like 80% of my arena games are like the game against Rocko that ended at 11:20
As a Rocco main, watching that third game felt very nice.
You could have won game 4 by casting archmages charm to gain control of the other Tamiyo.
Covertgoblue... Goes... Blue...
I love the deck tweaking personally
Poor Amy I would never. I can’t deal with counter spells in brawl. Seems like it defeats the point of “brawl”
20:44 Jin-Gitaxias!!
Having to play this deck against Amy is the perfect punishment for playing this deck
Good Morning from Germany :)
