Definitely after my first rain ride I immediately changed to a better tire combo. I went with the pilot pures for sport ridding. But if it does rain a lot and you don't do much spirited ridding. The city grip 2 are a great option to look at.
Hi, I just purchased a 2023 grom (picking it up in a weeks time as I have my test booked the day before) and I have been wondering about the efficacy of the stock tires. I don't plan to ride in the rain much, nor in the winter. Would you recommend getting some different tires anyway? Mainly going to be riding around the streets/country lanes and such. I've seen people recommend the city grips and the power pures, which would you say is better? Thanks.
Right now where I leave don't have such a straight roads and most of the time unpaved or a lot of potholes at road or stone roads which are the worst by far so under these circumstances honda grom can deal well??
I don’t know how it is in your part of the world but here in London (UK) most cars /SUVs etc all have automatic headlights meaning they are all in the brightest beam until they meet another beam of light equally bright coming the other way…I’m sure it’s a safety feature meaning the car illuminates everything until the sensors pickup light and then it dims……problem is, it takes a few seconds for this to happen by which time it’s blinded oncoming drivers, pedestrians and bikers…..I know as I’m a driver (yet to be a biker), and since most drivers of these newer vehicles are unaware of this and have their car headlights set to this setting as ‘auto’ (possibly out of sheer laziness), I now have got sick of this (I’m sure it’s damaging my eyes), I’ve taken to putting my high beams on when I see the strong beam of light coming towards me….and leave it on until the oncoming car dims it’s own headlights. Selfish? Perhaps, but least it gives other drivers an idea of what the rest of us have to put up with…..it’s worse for me as I drive a car , not an SUV so I’m literally sitting at headlight level 🤦♂️🤦♂️. My plan of getting into biking is purely to get ahead of traffic (so filtering is legal in the uk) and as I’m literally riding on roads with average speed cameras and into the city of London, a place known for big congestion and small roads, the Grom seems more and more like my first and probably only bike.
Did the 22 Grom not come with turn signals? You talk about visibility but blew threw 2 lights and 2 lane changes at least without a signal 🤦🏼♀️ "ride safe", yea?
This would be cool for food delivery especially in downtown areas where parking could be a pain.
Its a Good idea to change oil in them every 1000miles as its a 5 min job and quart of oil keeps engine running sweet
2 years later. What’s your final words summing up if the Honda grom is good as a daily and also reliability?
I love it. I recommend to anyone that wants a compact motorcycle.

How much u pay for insurance?
can you link the phone mount? I'm interested in getting the same one for my grom
No use Google literally
isnt it worse to use high beams? you will blind drivers instead of them seeing you

@@gore9341 Google does not know what to do even if I select "Translate to English".
Get a oil cooler you also will need the engine. cooler cover. It's always a good idea to change the oil.👍👌✌️💯🥂🏍️
Cool vids dont ride with high beams though you'll dazzle people more so in the rain.
